    I've had this for about a month. I use it in the evening and mix it with The Necessair Body Serum which I use on my face. I actually like it and have had zero issues. With that said it's expensive for the size and it should be a full ounce for the price. Even with the 20% off sales PC runs very frequently, I don't know that I would purchase this again.
    The formula is nice and works well for my oily skin. Like I stated earlier, I have been mixing it with another serum and have only applied it directly to my skin a few times. Even with the direct application to my skin, I had zero issues. It does seem to reduce oil on my skin and my pores appear smaller. Thanks for all your great reviews and for purchasing these products on your own.

    Hi Sarah as ever a good review. Most of the positive reviews have never mentioned the size, so that was a surprise. It seems to be liked best by those with oily or blemish prone skin. The really high amount of niacinamide seems to control oiliness, which will be a huge benefit to many people. I have dry/hypersensitive skin and don't need such a high percentage I don't think. Many of my products contain niacinamide and I use the Inkey list serum (which is approx 5%) as it suits my skin. I don't need oil control - my skin really doesn't produce any oil tbh. I need to add oil to my skin rather than stop it being produced. I have used 10% niacinamide serums without any issue, but don't feel the need to take that step up to 15 or 20%. I also think it's very overpriced. PC is not an affordable skincare brand, but this does seem to be OTT in price and I wouldn't pay that for it. That's just my take on it though and I hope those who do invest love it. Best wishes.

    Great product I love it my enlarged pores look almost invisible. I have a sensitive skin but it doesn’t irritate it. My old breakouts are almost gone. My skin looks more radiant and healthy.

    I have to say, this is a HG product for me. There’s a lot of (deserved) hype around niacinamide, but for me I never saw any difference using niacinamide serums until I tried the PC 20% one. I just finished my bottle yesterday (which btw was almost $70 in my country), and can’t find it ANYWHERE here 😭 I personally, however, notice a big difference in how congested my pores look when I don’t use this product. Never noticed a difference with other niacinamide products (such as TO 10% plus zinc).

    New subscriber for you here! Love your no BS approach. I bought this 20% PC product when it first came out and was my first Niacinimide product. Never experienced problems with it and and have seen great improvement with stretched nose pores, so the niacinimide hype is real for me. But because it's so pricey, even on sale, especially for the amount, I tend to use it less than I really should to stretch it. I need to use it up and move on to trying other brands.

    I loved this review as always.. I found when using this it was a little strong for me but I think thats because a lot of my other products have niacinamide in them too which meant a lot of doubling up.. Sending lots of love x

      It really is interesting to see just how many products contain decent amounts of niacinamide in them. It's such a great ingredient but easy to overdo it! 😉

    I have super oily skin. But still find if I'm not careful, Niacinamide can seriously dehydrate my skin. I have to be careful with PC 20%. I use Beauty of Joseon Calming Serum on my face first. However, I'm really liking the look of that Facetheory Niacinamide & Azelaic Acid Serum. Looking forward to your review of that one. I can't use The Ordinary Niacinamide. It managed to suck the life out of my face. But I really like Superdrug Me+ Niacinamide & Zinc Booster (10% Niacinamide + 1.5% Zinc). Sinks into my face super fast. No Oily and No Sticky!

      You are so right, niacinamide can be so drying and at 20% it's a pretty high amount. There is no way I could use the PC 20% every single day during the dry winter months. I've been meaning to review the Beauty of Joseon Serums- I am loving them so much. I can't wait to review the FaceTheory Porebright Serum- it has become a game changer and I love products that help shorten my routine a bit.

      The 10% is much more sensitive and dry skin friendly. I can use that one every day with no issues but once I started the 20% daily I think it is just too strong for my dry skin. I really wish PC would go back to some of the more reasonable prices- especially at .67 ounces. I miss the good ole days.

    I tried this product and it turned yellow on me about 1/2 way through the bottle. I wrote to PC customer service and they gave me a credit. No problem. Never heard of niacidimide oxidizing.

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  3 года назад

      Very interesting experience, and so nice to hear that they still have great customer service. This does have a vitamin c derivative in it, but one that I thought was a bit more stable. I do wonder if that is what oxidized or if it was one of the other antioxidants in the formula. Going to have to keep an eye on mine.

      Right now, what’s trending in skincare is high percentages of active ingredients. It’s really a marketing strategy; more is more. It justifies the price. But as a skincare formulator, niacinimide is not an expensive ingredient 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Anything in double digits with niacinamide is a no no for me, it irritates my skin so much. Less than 5% is optimal. Also, as per dermatologists, more is not more, it is actually more irritating and not more beneficial.
