  • In this tutorial series we will go over how to create a wave based survival game inside of unreal engine. This series will be created using unreal engine 5.4 however you can follow along with this tutorial using any version of unreal engine 5.
    In this video I will walk through how to implement shooting in unreal engine by using a linetrace to detect if we hit any other actors. I will also show you how to create a crosshair in unreal engine so that the player can see where they are aiming.

    I'm just getting into Unreal Engine (Unity's self destruct was scary) and your videos are helping a ton! For once, I can follow along with a tutorial and actually make sense of what I'm hearing! I don't know how you do it, but keep it up!
    Since you're looking for feedback, I'll parrot what I read on a video a year old: maybe add some quiet music to the background to fill in the silence. Though if you don't want to, that's completely fine! It's your video, after all. :)
