That the hierarchy of this troop. kiyo and Annie won’t be around forever with their family they need to move on eventually to start their own families.
AI doesn't seem to show maternal instincts, she is often doing her own thing so another baby from her might end up like last time with the zoo having to raise it Another female in this group is the easy way out but there aren't any in Japan at the moment
In some ways this zoo is sorta bad,, they don't have drinking water outside for them to drink,,,and poor Shabani was risking getting electrocuted trying to get something to eat,, when they should give them a snack or something.
They have water inside for them to drink. However, Gorillas normally don't NEED to drink water. Also electrocuted to eat something??? Not sure what you mean.
Thwse gorilla's are some of the best fed out there. There are spickets on the walls for them to get water out of. I have seen them use them, and there is a pond out there but never see down into it so who knows if there is water in that area.
Theyre magnificent & gorgeous 😍 ❤! I do wish people visiting would keep their voices down & not be so loud!! Its so disrespectful. Most places have signs to keep quiet & dont touch enclosures, at least in the US. I also wish there were some environmental enrichment going on. These gorillas are incredibly bored!! Gorillas love trecking, being on the move, not sitting all day. They need to do better.

@@bigboytoyz541 Momo seems bigger than Shabani even though he is much younger I assume(and i could be very wrong here) is due to him not running around all that much. Shabani is much more active even though he is older
