Higashiyama Zoo after the rain.
The temperature was gradually rising, and Kiyomasa and Annie were relaxing outside.
The adult gorillas were relaxing indoors.
Suddenly, they heard a yell from indoors, and Kiyomasa and Annie ran quickly in the direction of the yell.
I think Shabani was probably messing with either Nene or Ai, the female gorillas.
Ai's scream was so loud that it startled me.
I could also hear Nene screaming in the distance.
It was very cool to see Annie and Kiyomasa running out as soon as they heard the screams.

I love Shabini, he’s a mighty male but chooses to run from the females than fight them. I imagine this would have been a different approach with an older male, if young it’s like he knows they have a lot to learn. He behaves as if he knows they are all family and have to get along as contained.
At 4:28, male chimp seems to throw up his arms in exasperation - like he doesn't know what to do about this screaming female chimp. I bet gorillas see chimps as such funny, strange creatures - I know I do.
Is this the chimp family with a male called Rikki?
