Shabani is so wise. I so wish we knew what their thought processes are. I've realised that it's all about the eyes. They are able to signal so much with just a flash of the eyes, raised eyelids, looking down or away or towards. Shabani made it so obvious that he wanted to be near his son. I think the ladies were all being wary in case something kicked off again. After all, its the ladies who wade in and keep the peace when something goes wrong. Seems to me that gorilla society is pretty similar to human society in that regard. It is such a relief to see things back to normal after seeing father and son at odds with each other. I guess this is going to happen more often while Kiyomasa is maturing. I'm wondering at what age you will decide that Kiyomasa has to be moved to where he can have his own troop and be in charge. How will he deal with that I wonder.
We all keep asking what age will you move Kiyo and Gentaro and the zoos never give up any answers. Frustrating. The longer they stay the harder it will be.
