You guys do absolutely the best job of piecing together a recap video each day. Kudos to everyone involved for getting the perfect mix of racing, interviews and general happenings at the event.
I absolutely LOVE the way u cover these events the interview with the driver while showing there runs is the way it should be done!!! Keep up the good work and good luck 1.0 has always been my favorite
You guys nowadays have some of the most beautiful art pieces to race it's wonderful. In the early 70's I had a 67 Chevelle SS. Termed loosely, but it was a real SS to start with. I had station wagon springs in the front, 3/4 ton truck springs in the rear to get good weight transfer. 400 Pontiac balanced and blueprinted and cammed with triple carbs. 500 cfm's on the outside and a 320 cfm in the middle. Progressive throttle linkage that only used the center carb till 4000 rpm then almost snapped the other two into action. I made a cool can out of a 3lb coffee can with spiral wound copper tubing filled with ice so it wouldn't vapor lock. 400 turbo trans with a 4:11 rear gear. I only had enough money for street tires, never owned a set of drag tires. After all it was my daily driver too! 4 mpg was the average. The thing with that car was that it was VIOLENT! Ran 12.20 quarter miles only using 2 gears and G50x15 street tires! At that time I could get L60x15's, but they were like greased bacon when you wanted to get rowdy. To see what we have to play with today ruins my train of thought for performance cars. Keep it going Tom, and Steve!
"Sick Week... the Super Bowl of Drag & Drive events." High praise for a young event. Well done, Tom & all his whole crew. You know you're doing something right when your crew partner is also you power's designer & maker...
WOW !!! Another top quality video production . Just the right mix of interviews and drag racing . Reminds me of how dangerous drag racing can be when car parts are ripped off during a pass .
Wow, the quality of the race week videos is improving so quickly. Something about the backstories of the racers on this one was really powerful. Great work
I agree with Tom, i did miles of Mayhem this summer in Alberta and one of the roads was literally oil poured over gravel and was not even a full 2 lanes wide. I would have had second thoughts driving a tractor on it yet there i was with my pride and joy.
Tom, I love your channel. You two guys are hilarious together . You got a talented co pilot and good friend with you , I wish I was a fly on the wall listening to the bantering all day. Good luck and be safe
Sick Summer, road leading into very first check point...by the water. Holy crap man, my floorboards have perfect Flowmaster impressions in them from that road... sheesh!!!!
I don't know what it is, but your videos show the speed of the cars a lot better than most as they move down the track. Keeps the videos way more entertaining
Absolutely love seeing you knocking down good times in your original Goat of the Camaro and the bluppers of Steve about to put the valve cover on upside down I know you guys gotta be extremely exhausted with the last minute rush having Steve go back through the motor absolutely amazing how fast and reliable Steve and you have made the SMX to be such a wonderful legendary combination with proven successful runs KEEP THE SHINNY SIDE UP AND THE RUBBER FLYING 😎
@@Hotrodfabs hmmmm well Damn I didn’t even notice it was brodix block duuuhhh LoL cast aluminum block and the smx is a total cnc precision work of art thanks for pointing that little detail out
Are you running that thing up the drag strip on gasoline ? Steve mentioned it was a gas motor in one of his videos. I saw M1 cans by you in the pit the other day. Im confused haha.
Great day of racing. Sucks when people have to drop out for any reason but *they made it there!!* Side note, cars that lose their hoods need a special emblem/sticker: "This hood almost took out a small plane one time, ask me how." (just a picture of a poof of feathers) "Destroyed my hood and all I got was this F'n sticker." 🤣
I don't think he's ever done drag week. He does Rocky mountain race week and sick week. Right now he's prepping for fl2k and world cup, can't do every race.
Wow props to Matt frost buying another blower on the way to the next track. What is that like 10000 dollars. Also good job Steve flushing the fuel system
I know it is not using the Billet SMX 481X, but the heads are not BBC conventional either, and the engine is like Jeff Lutz's that makes 4000 HP.@@BIBSTERSrepairshop

Sick the mag, tom and crew with secret weapon Steve Morris. Drag an Drive saved my interest in drag racing after nhra had nearly killed it.

Would have loved to see you run in Bristol this morning but just got to the track a little too late. Good luck the rest of Drag Week.
great episode! love seeing the other cars and stories.
Outstanding video, thank you very much.
Keep them coming.
@11:42 Is that just the engine messing with the mic, interference of some kind, or does it really sound like that when on the rev limiter?
Sick Summer, road leading into very first check point...by the water. Holy crap man, my floorboards have perfect Flowmaster impressions in them from that road... sheesh!!!!
Seen you come through Greenville SC today and wow the sound of those beast!
Dang they made yall go up 181 in NC. Great road on a bike, not so great in a drag car.
Just ordered a Sick the Mag subscription!
I don't know what it is, but your videos show the speed of the cars a lot better than most as they move down the track.
Keeps the videos way more entertaining
Glad to see Clark there too!!!!
That was friggin awesome way to go Tom and Steve give them hell

Yeah Perth lad represent! Nice one mate!
Glad you guys had an easy day , you earned it .
Lol I miss the Sick the Mag ad where he peeks out from under the fender. That one made me laugh EVERY time.
Much better showing the times after the runs.
Love all the 55 Chevys and Chevy 2's drag cars.
Looks like 1.0 is happy to be back in the game.
Great content. I enjoyed seeing all these cars runs.
Viper and that rag top foxbody stealing the show.
Tom when you bump in and your car is rocking, does that affect your tires and the traction available causing tire spin ?
Nice work guys. I wish I was there.
One and done hell yeah brothers
When you and Steve are together it’s bad news for the rest of the class💪💪💪
Thanks for sharing love your content. Good luck with rest of the week!!!!
Good time ... Keep it up !!
I know it's still a long road, but happy you guys are doing well.
That’s white convertible fox body is a lethal weapon!

That is a brodix big block not an smx

Steve needs more coffee... 😂😁😜

Love the 🐍!! 😮
Tom and Steve y'all rock! Peace
Sick to see the west Aussie orange nova 🔥🔥
Go team Bailey/Morris! Keep all the shiny parts inside that are supposed to be inside block and trans and you'll have this drive nailed.
Great day of racing. Sucks when people have to drop out for any reason but *they made it there!!*

One-and-done is a good thing Plus you still have the lead great footage for the day
Steve M, saying don't put on the valve cover on upside down. Reads WS "wheelie stoopied" 😂. XWS " Xtra wheelie stoopied" Good luck, safe travels
It took me some time but this is literally The best event ever. You should start some eliminanations for next year.
Holy hell I thought someone captured video of my blinding feet at the end there.
Safe travels and trips
Not all hero’s wear capes! Legends of all time
I am here in Southern Germany, and everytime that diesel Chevy truck runs, I can hear Greta Thunberg screaming in Sweden.
Yea the diesel stuff is gross (eklig)
That guy from top end fab or whatever with the red nove has it looking sweet...inside is gorgeous
13:55 Jack Brooks 🙌
SMX for the win!
Good video. Wish I could read the ET/mph signs. Maybe do an overlay?
14:00 is that bent from pfi 😂😂
looking amazing.
The Aussie had lots of great things to say about Sick Week. I wonder if Tom paid him to say those things LOL!!
16:15 OOOOF
Good job, stay safe
Heck yeah!
Awesome!
To bad cleetus doesn’t race anymore, he should be there at drag week. It’s like he’s too good for it now.
I don't think he's ever done drag week. He does Rocky mountain race week and sick week. Right now he's prepping for fl2k and world cup, can't do every race.
I was at rockingham awesome event 1.0 was beautiful
The black and green Chevy ll : )
7.85 all motor! Wonder if they will take the average n/a record this year?
I’ll do that job, driving the route in a modified car. Even a opel gt! Something low and slow! I think that would be fun!
Man this is some crazy ideaz to make it free
that supra sounds so perfect it sounds like a video game.
Viper is sick, you owe the Aussie a Foster. Got a win looks like so far.
Living the dream
Wow props to Matt frost buying another blower on the way to the next track. What is that like 10000 dollars. Also good job Steve flushing the fuel system
Good luck, Tom, but your engine makes at least 3500 HP any day of the week.
Remember this one doesn’t have the SMX it’s a conventional Brodix style block so it is around that 3000hp number
I know it is not using the Billet SMX 481X, but the heads are not BBC conventional either, and the engine is like Jeff Lutz's that makes 4000 HP.@@BIBSTERSrepairshop
It's crazy that thing makes the power it makes on plain race gas.
need to call it sick steel
The car that started the legend of Cleetus McFarland
