At last, we are at the finish line. On the final day at St Louis for Hot Rod Drag Week, we were able to secure the win with a 6.05. At least, that was what we thought, until rain actually switched things around so that the results were entirely based on day four. That means we actually only won by two thousandths of a second in the averages over Sweden's Michael Westberg.
Together with Steve Morris from @stevemorrisracing we had to conquer a lot of challenges, but we got there. Now we can get back to the shop and start planning for Sick Week.
Drag Week never dissappoints even viewing over here from New Zealand . . its one of my highlights of every year. Well done you have proved again that perseverance pays off, mixed in with talent and a Great team

Fellow kiwi here and love these drag and drive's found after following Cleetus. Still love my street out laws and there channel's 187 specially but the bond of sick week, rocky week etc is so cool!
You and Steve are the true meaning of SICK. You 2 showed what true heart is. You 2 showed what Drag and Drive events are all about and what it takes. Thank you to you both for the great videos and showing us all. God Bless and have a great weekend.
It was great that while having their own challenging week they always found time to help others. Alex figured out the issue with the 55 based on Steve noticing her failures looked like something he saw just last week.

It amazes me how everyone, especially Tom, seems to keep calm and patient in the face of being on the edge of defeat and near destruction. It seems everyone had a hell of a time this season. Kudos all round!

Absolutely the drag car gave you a hard week and looking at the two of you, the colour of your hands says it all . Congrats on never giving up. Congrats on your win. Would have loved to race all week, but I lost oil pressure on testing and oil pan was full of bearing material. At least I didn't oil down the track and window my block.

All the small gauge wiring needs to be fully wrapped. Ground sock, tin foil, foil tape, chicken fence etc, and it needs to be grounded to the body/chassis covering the plug, but not connected to the engine. Also plug wires are too long and too loose. And the injectors need to be totally different style. Something you can dissassemble, clean and fine tune the spray pattern mechanically. There's probably a disintegrating fuel filter or fuel line going through the system, so even after a full fuel system rebuild you most likely need to take part the injectors after every pass.
Great job. You know that you would never have done that ,without all that power on tap. You should thank Steve.
