    This is a BONUS video, not a vlog. Panic not, the normal vlogs will follow. If you don't like these uncommentaried, real-time, slow TV videos then just skip this one eh? My other, normal vlogs have all the commentary you could ever want...
    It's the bow camera recording in full of the journey seen in vlog form in vlog 177, from Market Bosworth to Snarestone at the end of the Ashby canal.
    If you see the boat wavering all over the canal, it probably means I had my hands off the tiller while trying to film something. I wasn't on the gin & tonic, honestly...

    The beauty never ends. I have seen this one in particular 4 times, start to finish. And with the Vlogs it is the same. Getting to know all the trees and plants, the houses and pubs. And above all the beauty of the canals and rivers, the landscape and animals. Idyllic. So wonderful! Thank you very much

    They are beautiful and many people love them. I am one of those weird people who needs music or voice commentary. I live in the Rocky Mountains and have lots of nature, which we dearly love. I have played some of these silent crises while booking and baking just because it is beautiful, but seldom can even get through a whole video in one sitting. Crazy, I know! Very nice that you do some beautiful work for everyone’s preferences. Smiling

    • @FaithRichFidler
      @FaithRichFidler 4 года назад

      We have a few lakes that are big enough for "house boats" but certainly no meandering canals to go on and on. I sure wish there was something like it in the US, as I'd consider the lifestyle. But, it does make a holiday in the UK sound more intriguing.

    My, my David - aren't you the wiley one. A masterful ending to a splendid video, with that perfect down -the-center plunge of that long tunnel, then breaking out to a Hollywood ending by setting your cruise control to follow the lovely long-legged lass all the way to the very end - where she gracefully walks over your boat on that bridge, just to break out into the sunlight for one more eye-candy view. Brilliant!

    I suspect you could have made the trip in less time with a Javelin Bass boat with a 300 hp Mercury outboard. Plus the 40 foot rooster tail behind you could water shrubbery (and people) at every turn. But, I imagine people would frown on the noise and wake. LOL

    I am also guessing you probably need insect repellant for mosquitos. I know a person can stop anywhere in the mountains around here (the Cascade Mountains) and in about a minute you have a swarm ready to eat you.

    Been watching for a few days with bad weather here in my corner of the USA. Interesting and beautiful country and mode of transportation. Owned boats all my life, nothing to live on just cruisers and fishing boats. Always wanted to retire and live on a boat cruising to the good weather up and down the inter coastal waterway, nothing like the canals there but easy going if your not in a hurry, no locks but a few draw bridges if your ride is tall other wise just cruising. No real way to tie up either, mostly have to pay to dock in one of the marinas. Do have to look out for the fast cruisers and small fishing and pleasure boaters also. Not so laid back as you would think. Enjoy your videos though and am willing to put up with the annoying recommendations from youtube about everything remotely boat related, I don't follow any boaters here for that reason but if your vigilant and let them know your not interested in any of that other stuff then over time they will slow to a trickle in your recommendations. Keep your bilge dry and your bow ever in the wind my friend.
