Actually, “die-side” is still the incorrect pronunciation. Its actual name “Deicide” stems from the act of killing a deity. A fitting name for a weapon in this series, but not for this one.
If you like to go on a streak, slideshot + offhand strike Heritage is also really good. After the initial ADS kill you can just keep sliding around without ever wasting time reloading.
the absolute best part of this video is the way you edit the light around the gun image to let us know when the next weapon will come up, so amazing and intuitive. love it keep it up

If the gun held more in the mag then I might say it was too strong but since you have to reload so much nah. It feels like a raid exotic should. I miss when lightweights were good.
it's perfectly balanced in both modes in pve since it's a shotgun and in pvp since its range is low, i love it. wonder how they could make a catalyst for it. i would love something like all shatter/ignition damage you do is increased, make it even more of a monster and your builds are improved since stasis kinda needs help. ignitions are already good tho so idk

I've actually been having fun with Until Its Return in PvE this season. It's been nice for chunking down the Lucent hive in the dungeon. Last Man Standing also isn't terrible, either! Honestly though, ConditionalFinality is my main PvP shotgun these days. The freeze/ignite feature is rather nice. Also, Prophet of Doom is so underrated. It's actually a killer PvP shotgun, and it can roll with one-two punch for PvE. I have a better Matador, but I love the aesthetic of the garden weapons.

One of the best done Destiny info vides ive ever seen. Job very well done. The time frames around the gun and over class time at the bottom of the video is such a great touch. nice job man!
The reckless endangerment is one of the best shotguns in it's archetype, personally I found it to be just as if not more consistent than a fully crafted without remorse or a godroll Seventh Seraph CQC. With that being said these 3 shotguns are the best in the lightweight archetype. They are fast and consistent and do their job well. These shotguns aren't really much for aping. They can do it, and they can do it fairly well but aggressive and precision's can do it with more consistency, at the cost of having much lower handling. These 3 shotguns are perfect for punishing overly aggressive players, you get a few shots in with your primary, and you swap to your shotgun in a split second to get that cleanup. In my opinion these 3 are S tier shotguns as they are consistent and snappy without the use of ophidians. You want a shotgun you want to be able to pull out in a fraction of a second to punish overconfidence and these weapons can do it without the use of exotics like ophidians.

The video is amazing. I just wanted it out there for people who are reading the comments and are wondering.
My first shotgun I used in pvp was a retrofuturist, almost 5/5 God roll, rifled barrel, acurized, Quickdraw, thresh,, with a range masterwork. It currently sits in my vault with 2139 pvp crucible kills, as I used it in comp and QP to get my super fast. I'll never forget such fond memories.

Adept Inquisitor is S tier. The fact this weapon is not only rare but does what it does with such ease no matter the perk combo. That said getting a 5/5 God roll only shows that’s it’s S tier. I love my 4/5 and the fact I do so well with it only proves why it’s S tier. Great list.
Hard disagree on the ranking of Nessa's Oblation. Amazing stats with enhanced opening shot and adept targeting makes it easily the best in slot slug shotgun.
@@tomakai3460 disagree, each shotgun is a personal opinion and this was his personal opinion, take it for a way to find your own personal shotgun you enjoy using

The thing either maps or deals absolutely no damage. Every time I barrel stuff somebody with it, no damage. Going off of your advice, I'll try to use it as a clean up tool from now on. Honestly gotta agree with this tierlist you hit the nail on the head. OTHER than The Inquisitor. It is not only a stat monster, but even a mediocre roll of the adept version can feel incredible. For me at least it’s by far the most consistent feeling shotgun in the game, and it’s range can really catch people off guard. Being able to run it with exotics like no time to explain or other amazing kinetics really makes it feel versatile and effective. One of the best weapons I’ve ever used in the game. Definitely should be S tier.
Note about AE: Icarus Grip, Extended Mag, and No Backup Plans gets Heritage up to 60AE, which seems to entirely negate the accuracy cone penalty of being airborne if I understand what's happening on the reticle correctly (well, I also have enhanced HFG, so unsure how much that might carry that). AE was probably the biggest culprit in me dropping slug shotguns even though they became my favorite kind of special weapon prior to S17 when that was introduced, so it's cool to think there's a good way to make that work now. I think if you're interested in speccing out a slug for consistent airborne shots, that's probably the minimum: 25 from Icarus Grip and Extended Mag, and 30 from your build (Heat Rises + Ophidians/Eye of Another World is another way to get there; Astrocyte, Wings of Sacred Dawn, Lion Rampant in hipfire, and the buff from Thread of Ascent all do it on their own, as well), and that *should* do it, I think, I'm pretty sure, maybe.
The frame pacing in your clips looks so gloriously consistent. Kinda rare to see in the gaming space sadly. I did however just spend two minutes closing and reopening RUclips before I realized the bar at the bottom of the video was your segment progress display lol.
My Sojourner's Tale has over 2k PVP kills. Fluted, assault mag, threat detector, opening shot, and range MW. Fluted+threat detector maxes out your handling to 100 and bumps your stability to 75. Opening shot gets the range to 96. Assault mag lets fire faster than most other slugs. An S tier shotgun for PvP and easily my favorite legendary shotgun.
Though it's an F-tier in PvP, *Xenoclast* is honestly a beast shotgun for Liar's Handshake builds in PvE. It's my go-to main weapon when playing Arcstrider. It's Arc, has 12P, as well as Graverobber or Slideshot, and is Lightweight frame so gives you more sprint speed (perfect for the CQC playstyle of Arcstrider). Good luck grinding for one, though.
had to chuckle when you said "[the comedian] certainly serves a purpose in pve" which it actually doesn't. :D upside of reckless endangerment is that it's a fixed roll, and a not too shabby fixed roll at that. but lightweights have been hit as a whole, so that's what weighs it down a lot and i really like the detail to the timers on how long you're still gonna talk about a weapon or category. well done
One thing for nessa's oblation is its an adept WITH enhanced perks, so you can run it fully kitted for handling(corkscrew, assault mag, enhanced handling masterwork) with enhanced opening shot which will give you 100 range with 84 handling and 73 aim assist
something i dont see mentioned enough is that finality, even though it wont do damage, will still freeze a sliding antaeus titan, allowing a ohk melee cleanup
I honestly love my Mindbenders in PvP. I have the 5/5 roll and it MAPS people with Fragile Focus. That shotgun brought me into the world of shotgun ape-ing lol (I was a Sniper before, with Fusions being the most aggressive I would get if need be lol)
I dug around in my vault while the A+ section was playing and I have an inquisitor roll(the only trials weapon I have right now since I'm not allowed in trials because I don't own the strand dlc) and its perpetual, opening shot, handling masterwork with fullbore or small bore. Guess its decent yah?
@@CastleContent it's definetly not a bad thing though, like I'm being mentored by Lightning McQueen himself. Only just started watching but I love your content as well
I got an iron reach and auto loading Gunnoras and it has become my go to shotgun. Don’t reload, mad range, fluted and accurised to put the icing on the cake
I know you rag on aggressives for their spread, but if you try removing three pellets from the spread & two from the precision frame, it starts to look a lot closer. I see them as the spread that transforms to whatever you shoot it at. Since you can miss 3 pellets, it doesn't matter if they're running, sliding, or dodging, it just works if they are within range. They really were made as the panic option at close range. Precisions are made for OHKs, same with slugs but they get more range for less versatility at close range lightweights are clean-up, and rapidfires are for PvE
for the longest time I thought the rapid-fire frame void shotgun was called "The Decide" 😹
I still call it that 👌

@@omfiscientgd8669 not mentioned on blasphemer though
You forgot perfect paradox
Apologies if I missed something, but where was Acrius in this video?
every vid is a banger even after taking a long break from destiny
Liked and subscribed as soon as I realized the box to the right is to show how long you are going to explain that weapon. I am a simple man
Wishbringer slideshot and snapshot, smallbore, accurized, range masterwork. Dont underestimate that second shot. Fast af
upside of reckless endangerment is that it's a fixed roll, and a not too shabby fixed roll at that. but lightweights have been hit as a whole, so that's what weighs it down a lot
and i really like the detail to the timers on how long you're still gonna talk about a weapon or category. well done
The Last Man Standing disrespect 😤😤
One thing for nessa's oblation is its an adept WITH enhanced perks, so you can run it fully kitted for handling(corkscrew, assault mag, enhanced handling masterwork) with enhanced opening shot which will give you 100 range with 84 handling and 73 aim assist
Haven't seen the ranking yet, i am just so happy to have died on the hill with mindbenders ambition since fragile focus got a huge buff
Yay. Drawing board is back 🤩🤩
Having any slug over chaperone is criminal
Tbh this "Animation bad" argument is really wierd to me. Wastelander and Chappy should not be this low only because of this imo
something i dont see mentioned enough is that finality, even though it wont do damage, will still freeze a sliding antaeus titan, allowing a ohk melee cleanup
I honestly love my Mindbenders in PvP. I have the 5/5 roll and it MAPS people with Fragile Focus. That shotgun brought me into the world of shotgun ape-ing lol (I was a Sniper before, with Fusions being the most aggressive I would get if need be lol)
congrats on achieving 100k! great tierlist btw.
Thank you Shaudee!
Congrats on 100k! Been watching for years🎉
I dug around in my vault while the A+ section was playing and I have an inquisitor roll(the only trials weapon I have right now since I'm not allowed in trials because I don't own the strand dlc) and its perpetual, opening shot, handling masterwork with fullbore or small bore. Guess its decent yah?
GREAT roll, I recommend smallbore
that’s bullshit that high end pvp is behind a pve paywall bungie needs to get their shit together
I never thought I'd hear Owen Wilson tell me about Destiny 2 weapons. Super helpful video though
LOL do I really sound like him? I get this so often but I don’t hear it haha
@@CastleContent it's definetly not a bad thing though, like I'm being mentored by Lightning McQueen himself. Only just started watching but I love your content as well
I got an iron reach and auto loading Gunnoras and it has become my go to shotgun. Don’t reload, mad range, fluted and accurised to put the icing on the cake
amazing vid btw congrats on 100k
congrats on 100k! u deserve all the attention and more my g
Thank you!!
you did not jut diss the comedian (My fav d1 shotty)
For heritage i recommend offhand strike and a hipfire mod, its going to make it amazing for range and ease of use
This guy got violated 28:56 now I have to go get this weapon 😂
Me who only plays PvE and mains Heritage: look what they need to achieve a fraction of this power
Precisions are made for OHKs, same with slugs but they get more range for less versatility at close range
lightweights are clean-up,
and rapidfires are for PvE
Congrats on 100k!
Ragnhild in C tier is absolutely diabolical 😭😭this was like the number 1 shotgun when witch queen dropped
all the titans and invis hunters taking notes rn
lol fr
