TV I use for testing video games is a Haier 7" HLT71. It has coax and RCA inputs only - does not have HDMI. I bought mine used on eBay for $50 shipped, although you may get it even cheaper if you are patient.

Lonnie, I’m the warehouse manager for a cosmetics company. Just toss in the trash anything labels tester. Who knows what they did with it.
CBC News did a creepy video on testers and diseases. Easiest way to ruin an appetite.
Trash cosmetics yes, but perfume/cologne/any spray products can be sold, sometimes for a lot of money. I sold a bottle of relatively new but discontinued perfume, with maybe 2 tsp left, for $60.

Everyone has different perspectives and 'acceptability levels' on things---- there are loads of Dumpter Diver groups that sell their Tester Finds in lots. Hey, there are Thrifty or poor that would like things even used some. Look at garage sales!- people buy half used lotions and stuff... sometimes it's an affordable way to get to 'try' an expensive product. Just sayin'-- there are different markets for different things. Not everyone feels the same.

for the makeup testers those should be thrown away as the consumer has already touched it. If it’s perfume testers those are fine to resell. Great High end brand cosmetics.

Awesome deal Congrats!! I think some makeup is now showing expiration dates on the package. You will make a great profit and hopefully you can do multiple quantity listings on a lot of that product. Hi Lonnie...Great video's...Estee Lauder is just downsizing a bit due to Covid. They had record sales last year. That is actually bullish on your makeup. I for one, would be looking to switch to another brand if my makeup company was dissolving. Good quality products in that lot. I love and use them all.

Be sure to check the expiration dates (batch codes). Hopefully, that store rotated their stock. I’ve been on the losing end of a cosmetics lot. Lots of work to lose money. Never again!!

I sell a little on eBay myself and would've loved to get in on something like this. What sucks is I probably could have, although I probably wouldn't have went in this deep. My local Gordman's is a Stage store and my Dad told me they were going out of business last week, but I got busy and never got a chance to check it out. that's an amazing haul, I think you also have a resellers license, so no sales tax either?
You got plenty of competition on some of those new cosmetic listings.. for example 1 item I picked at random you have $99+shipping no best offer, another seller has been selling them at $70 a few a month, now increased to $79 or best offer with free shipping. If you got them dirt cheap don't get greedy on the profit or they wont move at all. Also be careful throwing around the term 'fresh' if you haven't made sure to check the batch code/expiry dates. Most cosmetics are considered expired 3 years after MFR, there is no law in USA like other regions about this but the general opinion is 1-2 years fresh, over 3 not fresh. It could open up reason for buyer dispute if they are the type to check if cosmetics are actually fresh. There is a high probability most your items are past that so its best to just not say anything.
I'm not going to compete with the people blowing this stuff out in the first month, that seems dumb to me.

Check out Lindey Glen who sells a lot of HBA. Great RUclips channel too. Make sure to check expiration on eye makeup and include it in the listing, as I am sure you do. Lot up stuff and nice thing in makeup is multiples on one listing so fewer listings. Good Luck!

I know where I'm probably going to do some of my Christmas shopping 😁 If that is the same as Peebles then we had a store close here right before the pandemic and then a Gordman's opened for probably a week or so before the pandemic hit and now they are out of business. If I had had the funds I probably would have done the same. Good luck with sales.

We all knew about the closings. I bought a lot of stuff but didn’t do a buyout. Makeup margins are too slim but maybe Clinique and such will be better. Pretty sure there will be a lot listed and hopefully people don’t drop their prices to get the sale driving price down.

I hit my local Goodman’s which is the same place. I got lots of clothing items I’m going to list be it EBay or Mercari. Not much makeup to be found, unfortunately. I was super excited
What you did is called being the end buyer, they normally pay 1-5 cents on the dollar and buy everything left at the end of a store closing.
Stage actually didn't bring a liquidator in, it was kind of weird. The last few days everything was 90% + 50% but the makeup wouldn't have made it that far.

I listed some “prop money” it has Obama on it and it says value 1 trillion dollars and a few other celebrities and it got flagged so I said okay and this week I posted a shirt new with tags and that got flagged and they told me I’m on strike 2 and I don’t know why I’m getting flagged and now I posted some tools and they are now reviewing everything I’m posting and it takes a week to post what am I doing wrong?

If you haven't checked out Craiglist Hunter's video on how he ended up throwing 50% of his bulk buy cosmetic stuff away because it had all dried out you should do. Oh and read the comments about things not to do with it if it has, like adding eye drops. There is always a very good reason why these massive discount shops sell this stuff off so cheap and quickly and you should be contemplating doing exactly that to, cheap and quick.....
