In China, many people shop online, because it is cheaper than the physical store. For example, the same kind of label costs 500rmb in the physical store, but only 300rmb on the Internet, and there are more sizes and styles. Online shopping is very convenient

If you're gonna stay for more weeks I recommend you to go to Shenzhen where I am currently living. And there're lots of foreigners here, especially in Sea World in Nanshen District, the communication won't be a problem. Shenzhen is a city where culture mix here, you can find foods from all over China. Welcome to China, enjoy your journey!😆

When you can’t find the right size in the store, you need to shop online and you will always find the right size because there is an ocean of assortment. On the other hand, shops on the street will only sell the most popular sizes and are unwilling to hoard niche sizes.

I can’t top up my Alipay, I’ve to give money to local friends if I want to do so. But when I pay it is connected to my debit card, and it works. Still some banks get blocked, or the cards get blocked. I wish they did an app for foreigners, cause it’s a pure mess for tourists. Alipay for short term tourists has something called Tour Pass, check it out. But I really wish a different and simpler app.
I live in Hong Kong and go to China recently. They do widely use phone payments, but they also accept cash and some shopkeepers are happy when seeing the cash, maybe because such income is not audited in their tax account.

Since the wholesale market is the place where the bulk is mainly sold, the average height here leads to unpopularity in the wholesale market for over sizes. I think when you shop in these malls, you need to prepare a translation software first, and show the most critical information to the salesperson. If they don’t have it in their store, they will recommend you to a store that suits you.

Jezz....as Chinese I have to say thay you were eating somthing terrible for foreigners.....Gan Guo is "Dry Wok", meaning cooked with little broth and more oil, and Ji Za means chicken guts, you were eating chicken gizzards, intestines, livers, hearts and kidneys... but it seemed that you really enjoyed those thing without knowing what they were, not bad right? Ha ha ha

Jezz....as Chinese I have to say thay you were eating somthing terrible for foreigners.....Gan Guo is "Dry Wok", meaning cooked with little broth and more oil, and Ji Za means chicken guts, you were eating chicken gizzards, intestines, livers, hearts and kidneys... but it seemed that you really enjoyed those thing without knowing what they were, not bad right? Ha ha ha
