So important for someone of Joe’s influence to say this. Any drug with enough misuse, paired with certain psychological/genetic makeups and poor mental health can absolutely trigger something as serious and debilitating as schizophrenia. I was once close to it myself, too fucking close.

I can't smoke weed anymore. I smoked 15 years and no problems. One day something changed, something clicked wrong way, maybe too much happen in my life, now it's always ends with panic attack and bad trip.

I still smoke and stuff, but nowhere near like I used to in my heyday cause I’ll have full blown panic attacks.
My theory is for myself is that I’m not as carefree, and just have too much shit worry about. Plus I was in better shape physically and mentally back then as well so probably has something to do it with it as well.

I've seen this happen to a couple of my friends, but all of them smoked way too much with no breaks in-between. Smoke daily, 1g or so joints, smoke it in 10 minutes like a cigarette.
I used to be a hard smoker for around 10 years, but since I've reduced the amount and i take a week break after smoking a couple of days and the amount of weed in a joint never exceeds 0.2g.
People "overdose" on weed so much and they dont even know it, imo
6:45 on definitely nail on the head. I worked in Cali 2015 as a trimmer/groundskeeper, and was with a handful of close friends who were already living there...and a couple of them were day to day on how they acted.
Crazy amounts of pot smoked, dozens of strains to choose from really did it.
I saw all too well how overindulging in pot can fuck someone up.
Paranoid, mood swings, sleeplessness(if that makes sense).
I definitely partook, but I was working. So I stuck to a strain I really liked. Nothing bad with me and I did it every day.
Just can't think 'weed is weed' . Nah.
I lived in a yurt, like really well compared to a lot of workers, had a blast, but so much stress from my friend/ employer from his overindulging.

I did way too much K one time in the middle of a city, i was bumping into people felt like my legs wouldnt work like they were stretching out. Remember my car was on a meter and i was trying to get back there as there was a sheet of acid in the dash and i just needed to get somewhere safe. Felt the same as Diaz as soon as i got in the car , and about two turns into the drive home boom blue lights behind me. I legit pulled over and prepared myself for prison and they just drove right by me 😂 dont even remeber how i made it out the city but woke up hours later parked in the countryside

My older brother developed schizophrenia from heavy weed use in high school. Its very common in Canada to start young, 12 or 13. I actually quit smoking at 19 cuz I could feel my mind slipping away. It's way too strong now for kids to be smoking like that. It's scary
Funny, I had the opposite thing. I'm slightly farsighted, and when I would get wired, my eyes would get 5x worse, and I had to put cheaters on to read.
But Joey talking about working your eyesight out is true. I bought these -1.00 distance glasses online and started wearing them all the time. My eyes strained for a few days, but I adjusted, and now I don't need reading glasses.

I'm so glad I was born in 1967. Pot was 1st at 12yrs old, 18yrs 1st LSD. I was taught you NEVER trip unless your in a happy mood period! Loved it. Trip many times by myself as well. But some days my anxiety goes through the roof and thought I’m losing my Mind. All I can say is moderation is key. Once every 2 weeks I’d say and you’re good. But everyday is when things get slippery if you are not paying attention to how much you are consuming
