Looks delicious! I would add about 15 fresh basil leaves as well😋. Even though it’s hot, the AC makes it pretty chilly, so this soup is perfect. 😊 Thanks for the recipe!
That gorgeous smile you wear makes you look so SOUPED up! Thanks for your great video! Tomato soup in my Vitamix ascent is my favorite thing to make! Do you have a recipe using DRIED split peas for split pea soup in the Vitamix? Decades ago I saw it done at the State Fair and I can’t find that recipe anywhere, only using fresh peas. I’m looking for dried peas. Thanks! Keep up the Wonderful videos you do! Blessings!😃
This one is closer to 90 degrees celsius to purely showcase the steam. You can blend it to whatever temperature you desire. A general idea is that the Vitamix will heat it around 10 degrees every minute. Happy Blending!
Good question! Yeah pretty amazing and I couldn't figure it out when I first saw Vitamix over 25 years ago. When you make a smoothie you usually use ice or frozen fruit and only blend for about 45-90 seconds. Vitamix will heat about 10 degrees every minute from the friction heat, so if you start with cold water it takes about 6-7 minutes to become nice and hot. When you make ice cream you use lots of frozen fruit or ice and only blend for 30 seconds, if you let the ice cream run for another few minutes it will turn into a smoothie and then in another 5-6 minutes it will become an ice-cream soup haha Hope this makes sense and Happy Blending!
New subscriber and loved the first video I watched ! I am looking to buy the A3500 tonight and really need to know if the Vitamix A3500 and A3500i are the same? TIA.
Hi, thanks for subscribing and apologies for the delayed reply, I usually only reply to video comments once a week. The A3500i is the Australian version of the A3500 in the USA. The "i" stands for interlock container as in Australia we have the interlock containers, which have a magnetic strip through the container into the lid, a safety feature if you remove the lid whilst blending you can't cut your hand off 🙌
The motor underneath lets off a slight smell and it's a little loud ruclips.net/user/postUgkxCKuMxLnvr6fJd_M4SE-n7trcGj3zEUHq but considering it's size and how hard it works to do the job, it's sort of expected. I assume the smell will go away over time. Overall, I love this cute little blender. The extra cups and lids are great too!
We will release a new Pumpkin Soup recipe in the coming month :) You will find a few already on our website: www.rawblend.com.au/our-recipes/soup-recipes/
I'm not sure if you watched the whole video but I didn't put the foil in, that was a joke. But nothing wrong the garlic peel. I'm perfectly sane. Thanks for watching :)
Hi Sylvia, feel free to sub whatever suits your dietary needs. Instead of the coconut cream you could use a light version or 1/3 cup of Oat milk. Instead of the Cashews you could try half cashews and half white beans (cannellini beans).
What I *Dislike* about this Vitamix *video*, is that MOST of Us - DON'T have the Latest & Greatest Vitamix model. Plus, I was Looking for a **NO Thrills** Tomato Soup. Do you REALLY Require/Need some of the "extra" Items ?? Please Give to OPTIONAL information. Thanks
Thanks for watching! You don't need the latest Vitamix model, this recipe can be made in any Vitamix. The optional ingredients are just that, optional. Happy Blending!
I’m not white and I had my vitamix for over ten years and just to let you know it’s definitely not 30 dollars to make a delicious healthy soup and it was my choice for purchasing my awesome vitamix just like it’s choice to share the negativity bobdolespen
You almost had me with that wrapped stock cube I was like wait a minute...haha
Haha an oldy but a goodie!

I just made this soup for dinner and loved it! Will be making it again. What's the temperature of the soup cooked with the soup setting?
That's a good question and I'm not sure, I would need to test it with a thermometer. I would estimate about 80 degrees C. Thanks for watching :)
Made tomato soup 👍🏻 just made broccoli soup and it was better than the soup I bought at the store.
That's great to hear, thanks for watching :)
What’s a good sub for the cube? Homemade bouillon powder? Tablespoon ish? TIA
I’d say miso paste for healthy addition & nutritional yeast
Lmfao you had me with the stock cube 😂 I was confused for a second
Hahaha got ya!
Hi, what is the final temperature of soup? Is closer to 90°c or 40°c?
This one is closer to 90 degrees celsius to purely showcase the steam. You can blend it to whatever temperature you desire. A general idea is that the Vitamix will heat it around 10 degrees every minute. Happy Blending!
@@RawBlendAustralia hi, bought 3500i last week it's great machine
hi there, great vid thx mate. I don't understand how the blades friction with the water creates heat!??
if so,why the the smoothies come out cold ??

Yes about 1 cup. Thanks for watching :)
Is there a substitute for the coconut
You could use coconut cream or milk, or almond milk etc. Thanks for watching :)
My vitamix works great
Good to hear champion! Happy Blending!
Specialist sports nutrition certified

Haha always a good one :)
we also don't need to grind pepper lol.. why not whole pepper and salt
That would work too. Thanks for watching :)
im not putting in unpeeled garlic or leaving the foil wrapper on a bullion cube. Out of your mind.
I'm not sure if you watched the whole video but I didn't put the foil in, that was a joke. But nothing wrong the garlic peel. I'm perfectly sane. Thanks for watching :)
Looks great but there is way too much fat in this tomato soup.
Hi Sylvia, feel free to sub whatever suits your dietary needs. Instead of the coconut cream you could use a light version or 1/3 cup of Oat milk. Instead of the Cashews you could try half cashews and half white beans (cannellini beans).
@@RawBlendAustralia thank you very much Tommy!
Too easy :) Let me know how you go!
Ooooh, you sure you did not OVERDO that red wine vinegar? FFS
I'm sure I didn't but you don't have to use it if you don't like it. Thanks for watching :)
