Thank you so much for these uploads! Can't tell you how much I'm enjoying it. From someone who cuts up film for a living, this must be an immense amount of work.
Always liked it when they helped each other up even if they were on opposing teams 4:00 Good sportsmanship right there and also shows the utmost respect that defenders had for guys like Earl Campbell and Barry Sanders. I remember Sanders being helped up by defenders a bunch of times too.
What's funny is that my first exposure to Dan Pastorini was in drag racing. I can't remember now if he did dragsters or funny cars, but that's where I first saw him and they mentioned at that time (mid-1980's) about his "previous" career almost as an aside. Of course, you didn't really have access to games like this back then, sometimes....they would show a brief clip of his playing days. But this is so cool to see him as a QB here in these excerpts. Also, shout out to Diamond P Sports....the 1980's pipeline to NHRA action! Used to be on ESPN all the time, back when ESPN was still small-time, before the addition of broadcasting contracts with leagues and being purchased by ABC and Disney.
Dante was a rookie the first year I started going to Oilers games. He was the first QB I remember seeing live that doubled as a punter. My Dad tried to brain wash me by putting up Staubach, Pastorini, and Franco posters in my room. We had season tickets to all 3 teams. I normally rooted for the visiting teams. Was never a fan of any of them but I was blessed many times over by the amount of games and exposure I had to the league as a kid. I did however have my favorites on each team and have so many great memories seeing behind the curtain. I have always respected what I was exposed to and truly loved the competition those teams had.
The game in Buffalo was this week. Not sure what your referring to as far as footage of that broadcast. I have included the little that I have found to date in this edit. Please do share where you have seen this.
The Tyler Rose was a beast. Always enjoyed getting to see him play live from his days at UT until his short time in New Orleans. He still has the greatest run I have ever witnessed to this day against the Chargers his rookie year. The Miami game was also amazing.
Cool I saw this at my pops house coming home from leave nice memories. May RIP pops .miss you SIR
Lucky to have found this 6 minutes after you posted. Awesome again. Thank you!

The Campbell destruction of Bill Simpson at 2:13:45 is just as good as the hit on Isaiah Robertson.
I was at this game with my buddy and his dad! So cool!
5:40:00 An Alcoa Fantastic Finish. Oh what a memory from my childhood!
This Oilers/Rams game has the savage Earl Campbell run.
Isiah Robertson(RIP) gets labeled. Pretty good LB,but nobody could handle EC.

Diamond P/drag racing fan here. I get the same nostalgia there as I do for these NFL videos. Great, isn't it? And Pastorini was top fuel i believe.
Thanks Media Dugout
Was at the Colts-Bills game that Sunday. Plenty of good footage elsewhere.

Dick Jauron, future head coach of the Bears, Bills and Lions (interim), playing defense back for Cincinnati.
Youngblood laid the wood to him hahaha hahaha
4:20:40. The greatness that was Earl Campbell.

Earl Cambell would be banned from today's gamer with all the non-contact rules
Football today belongs with flags hanging from the players pants ….. the NFL is an absolute joke
you are the best!
5:33:20 Browns get cheated.
Jim Brown was NOT a good analyst
