    Beautiful job Phil. Love the control of your greens as that is a color that can tend to get away from novice painters.

      They can be tricky. It helps to take your time and mix some subtle variations

    Never heard about ,when you adding color must be the same value ! Great lesson as usual from you :)

      Yes, if there isn't a value change then you can vary the color using the same value to create more interest.

    I am a big fan of how you explain and demonstrate the importance of color changes - it really malkes any painting so much more interesting 🎵🩶💚🧡🩵🤎🎶🐸

    I paint with acrylic but YES it was helpful. I live in NE, summer here is totally GREEN!

    I loved when you came to the slight variations with different orange, red, and dioxatine purple - beautifull muted variations vibrating between warmer and cooler nuances - wonderfull

    This is a fantastic video. It's so helpful to see the three greens, and also all the subtle variations you get when mixing orange, rose, other colors, with the greens you've already made. The subtleties are very engaging!

    I love this! It is so informative and I need to refer to it often. Why not just buy a tube of thalo yellow green by Grumbacker? You really need to mix this and have it in a tube..I love it!

      the yellow green in a tube would work fine. The thalo blue and cad yellow is a bit different. i like it better

    Spring is the worst sooo much yellow
