Free idea: Someone make a powdered tungsten/polymer blend battery pack so you don't need to have a separate counter weight system. Example: Sig frames on the Legion P320 X5 series. They made a polymer pistol weigh 43oz by infusing powdered tungsten into the polymer frame material.
I just take a 31 battery pack and use those Velcro stickers and some counter weights to add a Velcro spot to my battery pack with counterweights under the Velcro patch so it’s all one unit. But a heavier metal battery pack itself is a sweet idea and I’d use that over what i currently do
I know alot of people who do bridged 14s or got into the Nocturn DAISHO system and SAY theyre set up to take off one pod to pass off to a friend...but I actually am one of those guys. I have a particular friend I shoot with who will drop 2k on a new handgun every 6 months, but when I bring up maybe buying a PVS14 to get into NODs (like the rest of us all have) he claims "dude, thats so expensive" when he just bought 2 Staccatos. Like ok dude. But he likes to come to courses with us that have night portions...and he can never partake. So if hes there, before hand, I break down my Duals into two monos and I'll just run the mono for the course, and now he has one. I am also one who started off on a mono and built it up into a dual system. Economically - it worked out for me. Wish the MH-1 was around at that time...but never too late to upgrade.
@ oh trust me I do 😂 last run I kept them in my bino config and he was like “you have that mono for me?” And I played the “oh fuck man! I forgot! Hey…when you getting a pvs-14 dude?” Lol he got so booty hurt and sat in the car the entire night shoot. Trust me I make sure he doesn’t get comfortable with it😂😂 the biggest thing I really do when wanting to break them down to two systems is let my girlfriend have a set when we go out and shoot together. She likes shooting and night vision, but not like how I do lol. Anytime he sends me a pic “got a new gun!” And it was like 200 bucks below an entry pvs-14…he knows me automatically response
Maybe I misunderstood but it still seems like the Daisho converts from bino to mono more seamlessly then the Mh1? I like the manual gain it has but it sounds like going back and forth takes some work.
i wish LLI would take my aeternus omni 8s as trade in to a MH1 but apparently they dont do trade ins anymore :( also i got my mystery meat swapped out for real fujis lmao

By infusing what they really mean is gluing titanium to polymer lol
bad idea as no one needs more dead weight. If you need to increase weight, put something useful back there.

Sounds like you’re just enabling his behavior. Let him sit out a bit

That's my friend Daniel... but he buys 100 PSA AR-15s and proclaims it's just as good.
Stop letting him borrow shit.
@@kevin11288 Trust me lol I toy with him, read my above comment lol
Just got my MH1 from CNV in November, love them. Look forward to switching to the reinforced plate and external battery adapter.
Any word on when the panning version of the bridge will be available?
They already released the update remotely. Just lightly tap your MH-1s from the front, and they'll bend apart🤌
Placing my order Tuesday 😮💨
What happened to the panning arms for the MH1 that you talked about with Cold Harbor Supply?
as long as the MH1 has the flexing issue and only 1 fix point per pod to the bridge its a NoGo.
I can’t find the MH-14 for sale anywhere- when is it being released?
Can’t find the reinforced bridge either?
Ive been holding off on the MH1 for this battery compartment. Im sold. MH1 is mine

If memory serves its two screws (where it articulates) to separate a pod from the bridge
sick hoffman shoutout

So it's a fake Nocturn Tanto? The LLI Fanto.... Has a ring to it
