Firm had iveco’s 20 years, swap to new gen daf last Nov, nothing but trouble, battery’s replaced, mirrorcam faults, radiator broke off, daf aid out 3 times, towed into daf service centre, have 4 new dafs at one depot and all have been faulty not just one truck, iveco’s so much more reliable so ignore everyone who claims they rubbish.
Enjoyed the video it dose not matter what people say about the truck you drive as long as you get from A2B and as long as you enjoy driving it wich is good i hope you enjoyed your 24hr off see you in the next video
Another gloomy old day in Merthyr today I went for a drive upto Sennybridge. Be nice when that heads of the valleys is finished. My past Citroens have come through Sheerness Docks. This one I got now came through Portbury. Great vlog as always Mart and hope you and Claire get to celebrate her birthday soon.
Really liked this vlogg as brought back some memories for me when on class2 fridge work delivering mushrooms to both RDC ALDIS at Chelmsford and Sheppey great work 👍👍👍

I recall being sat almost opposite a coach driver (Wems from Weston Super Mare) when the first Telma electric retarders started to become popular. It seemed that he was using the retarder almost exclusively to me but then I must have been around 10 or eleven years old then! I am assuming that electric retarders are long gone these days?
Do you get extra pay on Sundays, or has it all been kicked into the grass these days? Good news for viewers/vloggers with the longer days, wider opportunities to film with the light. Yippee!

Great video as always martyn, did you know that the old Bridge going into sheppy is the only road and rail bridge that lifts in the uk obviously now the new road runs parallel and also had the bad crash in fog with a lot of vehicles and lorrys

I always use the retarder approaching lights roundabouts etc. I was also encouraged to use it during a driving assessment.
