Done a 3 week trip in 2015.Totally not the same as in the 90s.Eastern block drivers mob up services waiting for job.Local rouitiers won't have them as they park for up to 3 days but don't spend any money in restaurant.Totally fxx up euro work.Worst 3 weeks of my driving career.Thanks loboskis

In France and Germany you really need to park up early, in these country's its very hard to find a parkingspace after 18.00

Hahaha Parking its a nightmare.. My advice if you are going to be on regular trips, spend some time on google looking at parking areas off of the motorways. It will get you out of trouble, but given time you will learn from others where parking is available. good luck on this new venture.

I loved it when you used to go to the docks for Ferryman, especially that long dock where you had to drive right around to get to the end to be loaded. Can't remember where that was, but you visited it a good few times. When you said you were going on containers, was great news to hear. Now you're doing a bit of EU work, just adding to the fantastic content already. You have a great week ahead! Take care and safe driving 😁👍

Only got round to watching this now
Your toll box should work in all lanes you went into express lane (marked 30) the other lanes you need to come to a stop before barrier will rise (and yes they can be very narrow)
You will get to learn your parking areas over time some can be very busy some not the best places to park but like uk you will figure out the good and bad over time

Every Brit trucker going to Europe should be issued with a dishy secratery/Harvard Laywer to sort out the red tape & leave the dvr to concentrate on dvr/nav skills! LOL! Apart from a tad bit of anxiety, I feel you are enjoying the trip!
Fond memories. Me and my hubby driving onto the ferry with the caravan, and when we arrived and went down to get in the car, we had to weave in and out around the lorries to get to the car/caravan🤣. That's sometimes the problem when you're disembarking, the latecomers. Can be so annoying as you can't move until they get to their vehicle. On the motorway towards Lille (A25), we always visited Erquimhem(?) J.9, as my hubby's Uncle David is buried in the Churchyard Extension in the village which is a Commonwealth War Graves cemetery. He was killed in action on 22 April 1915
Looking like you were odd man out in Dover Jenko being the only UK truck I could see
