Paris & back through Bordeaux

- This weeks trip drops us down to the South of France after tipping in Rungis then back up to do 3 collections around Bordeaux before heading to Caen for the boat. Time was against us as it was early closing on Fridays so we had to chase after each collection but we managed in the end.

Ben, have a chat to Martin about adding music (of your choice) to the long segments when your on the motorways. It will stop the quiet bits. It maybe the software your using that not adding it to the edit. Other then that….. superb as always. Keep it up. Looking forward for CS joining YT….. a Broughton Quintet

Just found your channel when I was sick at home and watched all the trucking videos. Loved the Yorkshire stuff as I live and go motorcycling and did truck around there. Even my wife loved the European villages and scenery. One comment have you an aversion to wearing a seat belt?

Really enjoy watching your vlogs along with Jenkos, looks a decent company to work for , just wish more companies ran rigids abroad , I do Uk general haulage which is ok but I have the itch to do continental but to long in the tooth to take class 1 , keep em coming

Bordeaux is a traffic black hole! Last summer overnighted 2 hrs N of the place with a nice easy 6 hour run to the destination next day. 12 hours later we arrived! It was only a straight shot S on the motorway too!

Bordeaux, beautiful part of the country. Stayed at St Emilion (about an hour from Bordeaux) famous for its expensive wines. We took our car in for its 36,000 mile main service. At Ashton Lyne Motors in Manchester, it would have cost £450, the same service in St Emilion, £106, and that includes a full valet and wash, and it took 2 hours

What's your preference and thoughts on tunnel vs ferry for crossing the channel? I know Sherralin has said in her videos on a few occasions that she avoids the tunnel like the plague. You seem to use it for the majority of your crossings.
Would like to hear your reasoning and the (in your view) pros, and cons, of each.
We’re usually booked out on the train for speed & the fact it gives us immediate access to Sivep for Customs & veterinary checks. For Spain & Portugal we use Caen but my Boss decides based on a multitude of criteria. I don’t mind any of the crossings to be fair.
