Have you tried using DTF with your Sublimation printer?
Yes, but I'm having issues with the press part. The design does not peel well or stick well. What brand of heat press do you have and what temp and time press do you use?
Love the pattern you picked and off topic but your jean jacket? SO CUTE!!
Thank you so much 😊
Totally agree on both!! Especially the jacket!!😉
Your videos are over the top!! Thank you
Wow, thank you so much 😊
I like the"distressed " look. And I love the image.
Thanks!
Thank you so much 😊
This helped so much!!!! And the design was oddly fitting being I’m doing a “$pooky Boi” shirt! Lol
I love the shirt! I actually found a similar design this morning that I am going to make❤ cute theme - spooky babe in cute colors.
Yay!!! Happy crafting my friend
I think the sweatshirt looks great! The distressed look that you got from possibly not using enough powder looks kind of cool.
Thank you 😊
Crystal, you’re awesome.
Thank you so much 😊
Love this image.
Where's the info on your weight loss? You look amazing!!!!!😄😄
Thank you so much 😊 they are coming soon
I’ve never tried DTF, but definitely going too! Thank you for the info on the sawgrass. My husband got it for me last Christmas, but I really haven’t used it much. I had no idea they had updated! BTW; you look great!😊
That's awesome! Thank you so much 😊
I have had the same thing happen when I was doing canvas tote bags. Some of the color lifted off when I peeled the film. I added more powder and a bunch of different tricks. No luck...I wish we could figure this problem out. Love watching you and thanks for the great info.
I found with Canvas tote bags more pressure and time ❤️ Thank you so much
I absolutely love it and an oops with the distress look, is pretty cool 😊and the sleeves ❤😍 I’m really loving the new images I get with cricut with more designers. I’m soo ready for fall 🤣 so doing a sweater has ms hyped 😂 I’m sooo glad that they now have bigger dtf transfers 🎉🎉amazing job as always bestie. Stay blessed love 🥰
Yay! So glad you love it this makes my heart happy to here you are hyped up happy crafting and stay blessed Bestie hugs ❤️
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThatI have an inkjet printer, and 1 bought the dtf film and
powder. I tried to put my color design on a pink shirt,
but it did come out right. You can barely see the
colors in the design. Am I doing something wrong?
I'm making this 😄 shirt !!
yay! Happy crafting 😍
That is great to be able to do the larger print DTF hack. Still working on perfecting it on the smaller size, before I move on to a larger size 😂
🤣 You got this
Is there a way to do bigger DTF prints with just a 8.5 width? Thats as wide as my epson printer will do. Was wondering if they can be split and taped, like how you can do bigger than print sublimation
You nailed this sweatshirt!! I love it and I love the distressed look even better!! I've got to get some of that vinyl mix for the sleeves!! That was an excellent idea!!
By the way, you are looking extra sparkly today!! Do you have a hot date or what?!?! You look so pretty and have lost some weight. You need to share that journey with us. I've always thought you were beautiful, inside and out honey!! Thank you for this fun video!!!

Thank you so much 😊 I stole this jacket from my daughter since I lost some weight I have been shopping her closet 😂 you have made my day I will share my journey soon! You are amazing 🤩
The DTF tip re not having enough powder gave me insight as to why my Inkjet hack (using Epson Durabright pigment ink) has been problematic. I get better results with 2 cures than 1 but I wasn't sure as to why. Now I have more of an idea.
Yes that’s why I thought it would be a good idea to show stuff like this can happen. When I was editing the video I looked at the transfer and if you zoom in on it after the cure there is no powder in those spots
Can I use my cricket mini press to press my DTF sublimated transfer onto polyester? Or do I have to use a bigger press?
Hello for dtf is the design required to be mirrored
❤
Can you do a splatter/tie dye type of effect with the Artesprix sublimation ink bottles. Like dilute with water and put in a spray bottle and then press? I've been toying with that idea & using regular vinyl to create a stencil (you did something similar with a screensprint stencil on Design Bundles a while back). Basically I'm looking for uses for my Artesprix paints.
Yes you can I have done that as well I also want to try them with the dtf hack I have been meaning to test it for so long
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat I see a new video in your future! Hint hint 😂
I wish we could send it directly to other printers as well!!
You can the epson as well
Can be used with cotton? Or have to be polyester
Cotton
I think if the bottem plate isn't hot enough to warm the image? Can you use an epson eco tank and make it bigger?
You might be right on that! And yes you can
Does it feel like sublimation on a polyester shirt or does it feel like vinyl on a cotton shirt?
A cross between vinyl and screen print ❤️
Crystal, how do I get Printmate on my computer? Do I need to go to their site?
Yes go to sawgrassink.com and click on design mate sign up for free then in settings you will see printmate
Still waiting on the video about your amazing weight loss!❤️
I shared a video this week with my fan club and besties members ❤️ ruclips.net/channel/UCic-4JQObZaQy0YYHSUwm7Qjoin
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat Thank You for sharing
How do you do the same thing but on dark color's?
layer it onto of white HTV
Hello, Crystal
Why do I get "bubbles" when I am cooking the powder?
I wonder if your heat is too high? what are you curing with?
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat I used my Cricut press.
I did it twice with...
#1 Use Kasyua powder. Directions said 320F for 90 seconds.
#2 Godora powder. Directions said 302F for 5 minutes.
Both images had bubbles.
Is the end result from not having enough powder or not curing well? I had this issue before and the color barely stuck to the shirt. Im thinking its the curing part not the amount of powder? Let me know please ma'am!!
it was for sure the powder when I was editing the video down I seen a close up and there was no power in those spots
@YouCanTotallyMakeThat thank you for your amazing videos. You look amazing by the way!
Could I use my inkjet printer with pigment ink in it to do this?
Yes you can
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat thank you
I’m confused. Sorry. What’s the difference between this and sublimation? Can you use a sublimation printer with this?
Yes you can sublimation you can't feel where this feels like a thin layer of vinyl its a way to use your sublimation ink with cotton and avoid multiple layers of HTV
Ohh okay! So I put this over my sublimated paper then I can press onto cotton?
Does this have to be on a desktop computer only, or can you use a laptop?
Any computer tablet and phone
@YouCanTotallyMakeThat the only reason I'm asking is because when the larger print then cut first rolled out, I thought they said it was only for desktop computers only. But maybe i misunderstood.
I have tried the DTF Hack several times. The main issue I have is printing. My printer-- an Epson 4800 (converted printer) always drags black lines thru the design and outside the design. I don't know how to stop that from happening, so this hack is a bust for me.
I'm seeing the same for most epson users its a bummer for sure
Don’t the prints was out?!?
Not with sublimation ink
