Me too I love hacks
Love it!!!!!
Thank you 😊
I JUST TRIED IT WITH MY CIRCUT AND IT WORKED GREAT I HAVE TO DO ANOTHER TO BE SURE BUT THANKKS TO YOUR VIDEOS I CAN NOW OFFER DTF AT MY TSHIRT BUSINESS
I have done this. I bought the same cannon printer you use. I have a cricut heat press but I use my embossing heat tool to melt the powder. I didn’t want to risk burning myself with the heat press. I love the DTF HACKS. I found you because of a HACK VIDEO, then I watched more of your videos and that's why I bought the heat press.
Yay! so glad your fining them helpful
Can we use any printer for dtf use?
@@visheshh_vs Yes just remember you need pigment ink over dye ink
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat but a regular printer doesn't have white ink tank ryt
@@visheshh_vs That is correct
I am AMAZED!!!!😦😦😦😦😦YOu Are AMAZING!!! I had NOOO Clue this could be done!! DTV ARE VERY HARD to WEED intricate Designs and HARD to USE the MASKING Tape To Get the OFF!! KEEP up the GREAT WORK!!
Thank you so much I totally agree on the weeding and using the mask absolutely terrible 😃
So cool Thanks for information. hugs Sheryl 💙🎨💙
You are so welcome thank you 😊 hugs ❤️
I use my Cricut Easy Press upside down to cure my transfer and it came out great!
happy to hear this ❤️
Just started watching you tonight and have already gone thru 3 of the DTF hacks. I was so upset when I found out (after, of course) that my Epson ET-2850 had to have special sublimination ink
and not the regular ink. I need this printer for other everyday printing so don't want to change to sublimination ink. The DTF sheets look to be the answer. looking forward to more.
Sublimation ink??? So that's why mine are not coming out right, she never mentioned Sublimation ink! Thank you for the information
You are amazing.
Thank you so much 😊 You are too
I just started watching your Chanel. Love it. Did you prewash your T-shirt prior to using them?
Yay! so glad your here thank you so much! I didn't most shirts I buy are pre shrunk
Yayyy!!!! Been watching you for years so I'm so excited to have joined your Besties Does this mean you won't be doing the DB channel now? or are you going to go crazy town and do both hahaha xxx
Sorry Just seen this it went to my spam ❤️ it makes me so happy to see you using the coffee Emoji your the first one besides me to use them yay!! I no longer work for DB I'm back on my channel full time ❤️ I have 1 more pre recorded video coming out on DB next week
Thank you for all of your hack videos! They're so helpful! Can the inkjet printer DTF hack be done on other items such as tumblers or mugs?
I just edited a video that is coming soon where I test all sorts of stuff spoiler alert it was a fail on tumblers and libby glasses
Wow! This is amazing! How many washes will this last?
Love your videos !!!! Are you still doing design bundles channel?
I am not there is still 3 pre recorded videos coming on DB ❤️
Nice video!! Very clear directions. I liked that! I am curious, can use DTF on colored tops without white HTV?
Thank you so much yes just stick to lighter colors like you would with sublimation
So i used a hp printer and it worked!!!! My first on was patchy so i just did a layer on top where the patches where and it fixed no problem. The second time i put it on my long skillet and put extra powper on top and the second time it was flawless
Did you use regular hp ink with the powder?
@@ClarksQualityBookkeeping yes
Thank you for your wonderful video. Inkjet printer does not support white color at all? Thanks 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for sharing this video. If I make my own design on photoshop can I still load it into the canva program?
Hi Crystal, Newbie so what you said that we don't have to cure it before we put it on the t-shirts?? we can directly heat press it after putting on the DTF powder?? I am so glad to found your channel
I just started watching your channel. Great tutorial. I cant find the video showing how they washed. Trying to decide what DTF to buy.
The blank ink is the only one that lasted if your printer has pigment ink it will last the wash
Hi Crystal thank you so much for your videos. Quick questions once you print the design and add the adhesive do you need to press it right away or can these be stored for later use? Thank you again and Happy New Year
If you want to store it for later you need to cure it, if you are going to print right away you don’t need to cure, just be careful not to touch the print while it’s uncured.
Hey CrystalAnn can you do this with both light and dark fabrics and is it possible to use a sublimation printer to print the dtf transfers? Was thinking get a sublimation printer but i know sublimation has its limits so thought i could try the dtf hack and print vinyl heat transfer paper as well to get the most out of the printer and have more options
Hi again question do you ever use the silhouette machine? Your an amazing teacher! Thank you for what you do, God bless you!
Yes I do I have videos coming soon you won’t want to miss
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat good morning 🌞 ok thank you so much!
I got confused for a min lol but i got it now
yay 😂
How do you manage printing different colors on thr printer? Do you have to keep changing the color on the ink used in thr printer? Like if i have black and pink loaded in printer and want blue and pink, how do i go about doing that?
do you do a repress after like you would HTV or is it good to go once peeled?
is there any difference between doing it like this or just using an opaque 3G paper or riser easy color?
Hi! Thank you for this hack. Can I do this to a sublimation mug?
Your welcome I tried this and it was a fail
Did the tank top hold up in the wash? I did not see the answer pinned to the top. Thanks for always explaining everything so perfectly!
It did not so I’m testing one more thing. Your welcome and Thank you 😊
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThatso only black on things that don't need to be washed?
Hi Crystal! I'm a new subscriber and I saw you on Design bundles videos too is that a separate channel?
Yes I worked for DB for over 2 years but I work back on my channel now ❤️
Could this hack be used on black neoprene?
Love them both. My hubs said the first quote was soo me 🤣 🤦🏽♀️ so you know I have to do one for myself. I have all the supplies so I’m beyond excited to try this! Thanks so much Crystal. You’re so detailed and I appreciate it. You’re amazing 🤩 can’t wait to see more of your videos ❤❤ stay blessed love 🥰
😂 well we are the same 🤭 yay I’m so excited you have everything woot woot🎉 Happy Crafting and thank you so much stay blessed as well ❤️❤️
Great. you are amazing. but i have question, I am new what you can suggest me to use printer or cricut .what type of transfer do i need to use, HTV or DTF. ?
wonderful work.
Which transfer paper do i need to use, HTV or DTF??? Can u tell me . And do i need to use printer or cricut?
I used a heatgun to melt powder . It worked great and was really fast.
That's awesome thanks fro sharing
I guess you would need a inkjet printer that uses pigment based color inks. Also wonder if a waterproof fabric spray fixative over the DTF layer prior to ironing on the HTV layer would help.
That is correct I'm on the hunt for one now looking for an affordable one 😃 I was thinking that was well with the spray 🤔
Do you mean between the blank and the print? Or after transferring onto the blank? I would think maybe after transferring??
I have the epson workforce printer, from what has been said it is pigment ink. I may have to get supplies and try this hack..
Yay! That is awesome 🤩 happy crafting
Do you sell your shirt that you're wearing? We love it!
Not yet but soon
More dtf hacks oh yeah
yay 😀
if we use sublimation printer and use this DTF hack then also all other colors will washout , only black will stay? i am very new and looking for some printer to buy which suits for permanent color stay with sublimation and DTF please suggest. Thank you!
Can you please do a tutorial for dtf gold/bronze foil transfer to shirt 🙏
Hi Crystal. I'm a newbie to cricut/sublimation! I love the You can totally make it tee.. I was looking for the file so that I could make myself a shirt... Could you please tell me where to look for it ? That would be awesome!!!! I want to put it on a dark 100% cotton shirt, but I need the file or template, whichever you're calling it...😂
I'm trying to figure out how my membership works. Im not really good at figuring out how the membership works and where the besties membership. Help me please!!! Im wanting to make this tee shirt you can totally make it. Im not sure if you have posted it yet, and if you have where can i find it at???
Could you do the hack for mug printing?
Hi brother.., what ink did you used in this video, ink sublim or pigment?
The HP 7740 uses pigment ink and holds well for this
yay thank you for the info
there are dye inks and suspension inks which does your printer use? It may be different results with each.
Are you saving the image to your files then go to Notebook or wordpad?
I have resized designs down to print at DTF with Epson Black ink. The design turns out to be to thick and looks like a mess. Is there a way when you are downsizing a design to reduce the pixels so the design will stay true?
My Cricut iron only goes to 320 … not 380 … do I need to leave it on longer? Will the 320 be hot enough?
My heat press does not heat bottom on from the top, so how can I do the dtf ink jet printer cure or do I have to heat the dtf after the printer. Love the helpful tips.
you can hover above it after you print and add powder
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat so do I put put the powder side up with the heat on the top hope not a stupid question just want to get right because my heat press only the top is heated
CrystalAnn, I getting so confused right might did you just use a regular ink jet printer and not a sublimation printer. My Epson printer clogged and I was shopping all morning for a printer two weeks ago I purchased a HP inkjet to make stickers what am I doing wrong?
Can you do a video with a cute sublimation with color on like a pretty pink or blue shirt maybe? I am wondering if it would just fade into the color of the shirt and not pop?
If the colors are the same as the shirt it will fade into the t-shirt if the design has no colors that are the same you will be good togo as long as its light blue or pink
So dtf on white htv.. Does the color wash off? Can I use sublimation ink to print dtf?
Hello. What ink did you used for inkjet to dtf paper?
Have you tried the dtf hack on glass? I am wondering about using it on a glass block for my nieces wedding. Possibly with clear vinyl or laminate film??
I haven't but I will be testing this soon
I am wondering how to overcome white ink clog. Most of commerical printer has white ink circulation avoiding ink clog on the head.
Can I do this with a regular inkjet printer
Hi CrystalAnn! Question: which is better the inkjet ink or the sublimation ink for the dtf transfers! Thanks
Sublimation is the absolute best ❤️
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat Thank you❤️
Any difference using inkjet vs subli vs pigment?
Little more breakdown. Epson has some printers (ex Epson WF 7610, 7710 just to name two most commonly used printers) where ALL OF THE COLORS are pigment ink.
Thank you for this I did order this one Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3823 to test out
Are you using a cricket printer doing dtf ?
What about an injet printer with sublimation ink? Does that change the outcome at all?
ok so my question is do u add the white background with vinyl so the black dont bleed into the design because when i did it the black bled into the design which ruined it. can u do other colored background on black or does it only work with white?
you can do other colors just stick with light colors. it helps it pop off the black so it doesn't blend into the shirt
Love your videos and hacks that you try. I see you adjust the size of your design to avoid wheel marks with the ink jet printer. Do you have best practices for a converted epson printer? No wheel marks when I use A sub paper but I do on dtf film and easy subli.
Can you tell me with the Epson where do get the wheel marks are they on the sides or the side? also have you tried glossy paper settings when you print
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat Thank you for your quick response. Im getting them on the slide. I’ve tried glossy setting as well. I’m wondering if it is the film I’m using. No wheel marks when I print on A sub paper.
Also, you mentioned you have a video for how to get rid of the wheel marks. Can you add the link to it please?
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat they are on the actual design when I print on the dtf film. They are usually in the middle areas from top to bottom randomly.
@@gwenmarchand8038 I'm having the same problem!
What program/software do I need for this
Hola es primer vez q veo tu video y tengo una duda esto se puede hacer con tinta de sublimacion? Gracias por contestarme.
Muchas gracias por mirar, sí, puedes hacer esto con sublimación. 😁
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat muchas gracias!
I love making tshirts & other crafts but a lot of the video's I see they use canva or other stuff from iphones. I tried canva but I simply cannot get it (understand it). Can you do hacks with pictures on tshirts (such as in memory of pics)?
Hello Crystal! I am struggling with getting that film to load (and not jam) into my converted epson sublimated printer. I have tried the stack of paper, taping to paper and cardstock, and tape folded on the edge. I am going to order another brand of film. Is there anything else I can try. I am getting so frustrated. I love your videos, I have learned so much!
The current film you are using does it have a glossy side (the one I use) If so yes switch to one that has a matte coating on the back like this and it should work amzn.to/3PbdNnL
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat I ordered it, fingers crossed! Thank you. That makes sense.
The brand of film you suggested worked great! Thanks you for saving me hours of frustration ( and cussing)!
Hi thank you what is the free software you said? Can a normal iron be used?
