You got all nervous for no reason!!! You did great. TIP… when going for the second press. Use parchment paper instead of the Teflon sheet. It will leave it smoother & less shiny. Do Not use the cheap parchment paper in the pop up sheets from Dollar Tree! It doesn’t have enough silicone on it to call it parchment paper.
Great video, I tried this today with the same kit and I could not get the sheet to go through the printer. I will try again tomorrow! You've given me hope LOL!
I have a converted Epson ET-2850. I got it to start printing but then it stopped after printing only a tiny part of the graphic and pushed the sheet out. I'll try again at some point. I got frustrated! 😆 🤣 😂
Thank you for posting your successful and straightforward DTF Hack experience! I may pick up the Epson 2803 as my 8850 is on something else and does not play nice with transparency film. #ImTired LOL
@@thecraftycloset00 I lucked up on a donated 3760 at the Thrift store this week that I've been able to print on, just have to drain and switch out the ink to sub.
Thanks for sharing this video! This has been by far the easiest video to follow. I've been confused watching some others. However, I ordered the kit and can't wait to use it. I'm a new subscriber to your channel as well. 🙂
Hard to say it depends on how many times it’s being washed it still looks decent all this time later. There is an update video on washing on my channel thanks for watching
It didn't but the outline on the gloves is black so that's why it looks transferred the glove is actually the shirt color which is white ☺. Thanks for watching
Sorry I can’t remember if I did then it would be in this video, but it is always a good idea to pre press you shirts to get out the excess moisture. Thanks for watching
Yes I make my own setting because usually I feel like the recommended setting always seen either a little to high in temp or pressing time If you watch enough of my videos you will learn I seldom follow the recommended setting lol. As for washing it held up better then expected I have an update coming soon. Thanks for watching 😊
Thanks for watching ! so do you mean how to print white using the DTF hack? If thats what you mean then white is not color you can print so to speak without a true DTF printer were limited on what we can actually make so if your designs have white using a white shirt is you best option for now
I’m curious to know how this looks after it’s washed. I’ve seen this hack before, but the person doing it used a different powder than you did and I don’t think they cured the transfer. But after they washed theirs, it faded drastically.
I haven't had to wash it yet, so hopefully it will hold up. Yes there are a lot of different powders out there. I will most likely use another powder for comparison. Thanks for watching 😊
If your getting steaks then you probably need to do a print head cleaning I make several sheets of paper to get it right so don’t get discouraged. Thanks for watching ☺️
Not sure I just bought a different dtf kit specific for dark fabrics (the powder is actually black) haven’t used it yet, I’m going to try it out and if it’s works do a video! Thanks for watching
No, it needs a light-colored shirt, as in white, sports grey, beige, pink or Easter colors. There is no white ink so it will not show up well on black, or dark colors. If you print in all black, dark green or blue, etc ink as in a black png image or just words on dark colors like navy, red, etc, it will be fine.

Thanks for the tips I have started using parchment paper recently. Thanks for watching
What brand of parchment paper do you use? Do you have to tape paper behind it?
@@MSims-ck3ou I use either Reynolds or the Aldi brand. Aldi is a better value.
❤ I am so glad I found you.. now i know every crafter is not perfect and i can and will make mistakes. Thank you for keeping it real.
Glad I could help keep it real, cause that’s what I do lol ! thanks for watching!☺️
I'm new to sublimation and I just found you. I just want to say I love your smile!
Thank you so much 😀, and thanks for watching
I agree her smile and vibe are awesome!
Yayy I'm so happy for you because I know the feeling! Haven't tried this yet but I got to try this
Thanks I was nervous nothing worse then messing up and wasting good materials lol . Thanks for watching 😊
Great video, I tried this today with the same kit and I could not get the sheet to go through the printer. I will try again tomorrow! You've given me hope LOL!
Which printer do you have? Sometimes they can be moody 😂! Good luck and Thanks for watching

I had the same problem only the paper got stuck 😢
Tape the film to copy paper
I got it to work consistently by taping a piece of painter's tape in the center of the sheet from to to bottom. Yay!!!
I like your presence. You seem like a very kind person 😊
Great Job!!
Thanks! and Thanks for watching!
I’m so excited to try this method. I just started sublimation but them polyester shirt get expensive.
Yes they can so this is the perfect work around. Good luck ! You got his ☺️! Thanks for watching

How many washes supports?
Hard to say it depends on how many times it’s being washed it still looks decent all this time later. There is an update video on washing on my channel thanks for watching
Hey it looks great!! How did you get the gloves to turn out white? I thought white didn’t come out on sublimation Dtf.
It didn't but the outline on the gloves is black so that's why it looks transferred the glove is actually the shirt color which is white ☺. Thanks for watching
Results after washing please 🥺
Did you press the shirt first before laying the print down?
Sorry I can’t remember if I did then it would be in this video, but it is always a good idea to pre press you shirts to get out the excess moisture. Thanks for watching
Thanks for sharing, how does it look after being washed?
It still looks good a slight fading and I do mean slight I’m still wearing it! Thanks for watching ☺️
Did you still mirror the image?
You only need to mirror if your image has words in it. Thanks for watching ☺️
Hello, please I need your help 😄 .. You print it on a regular printer, but do I need pigment colors or some special refills? Thank you for the answer.
You just need a regular printer that takes inkjet cartridges no special colors just a regular printer 😉! Thanks for watching 😊
I noticed your time and heat settings were a little different than what I've seen in most other tutorials. Did this shirt do well in the wash? Thanks!
Yes I make my own setting because usually I feel like the recommended setting always seen either a little to high in temp or pressing time If you watch enough of my videos you will learn I seldom follow the recommended setting lol. Love your videos ....how can i print white text on a black shirt i mean the the best way

Can you do this and use it on glass tumblers? I am typing as I am watching so sorry if I haven’t gotten to that part yet.
not this method , this is only for shirts thanks for watching
What system do you use to design the image? Can I use the same circuit system I use for sublimation?
The images I used were from etsy , yes you can you sublimation images as long as they are png files. Thanks for watching!
Awesome I have a sub printer is there a larger size film... New subbie.
Welcome to the channel! There maybe but You need a wide format printer for bigger prints. Thanks for watching ☺️
❤ love it
Thanks for this review! How have your shirts held up in the wash?
Better than expected I actually have a wash update video posted on them 😊! Thanks for watching !
I for sure need to try this!!!! What did you search for this type of image in Etsy?? ie., dtf image, svg, or png?? Thanks so much!!!
These were png images. Thanks for watching 😊

Hi, what print settings should you use to print on DTF sheets with a sublimation printer? I get streaks with the black color. Thank you.
If your getting steaks then you probably need to do a print head cleaning I make several sheets of paper to get it right so don’t get discouraged. Thanks for watching ☺️
Sweet! Do you think it can be done on a dark color shirt if you were to add powder 2 times between curing?
Not sure I just bought a different dtf kit specific for dark fabrics (the powder is actually black) haven’t used it yet, I’m going to try it out and if it’s works do a video! Thanks for watching

What kind of paper is that
It’s dtf film paper it came with the kit. Thanks for watching ☺️
Whats the result after wash?
Not the best but not the worse either better then I expected , I have an update on it coming soon. Thanks for watchig
Hi….Will sublimation ink work for this? Or does it have to be in DTF INK?..plz help..THANKS!
This was printed on a sublimation printer using sublimation ink, If you want the DTF effect you will need to use the DTF powder. Thanks for watching
Awesome 🎉! Was there any heavy chemical smell when heating or after pressing?
No not for me at least. Thanks for watching 🤗!
My paper got stuck in my printer 😢 why???
Which printer are you using?
Same. I have an epson 8550
I know it’s 5 months later but I bought a dtf sheets with a backing pad that sticks to the DTF so it can go through the printer
@@falandriathomas8276 I have the 8550, hope you got it working.
Mines keep shooting the paper out
You can try to put a piece of computer paper behind it when you feed it into the printer
Some put painters tape on top edge to keep DTF straight
So that sub ink but dtf hack?
Yes it’s my Ecotank (converted) sub printer and the DTF powder. Thanks for watching
