- Police & Thief (2004 - 2010) is arguably the last great series that marked Singapore’s sitcom heyday.
In this reunion, the main cast (and a few surprise guests) are brought together after more than a decade to share secrets from behind-the-scenes!
They regale the audience with tales of what went during production, from the initial casting to the impact of the show.
How did Mark Lee land his first major English-speaking role? Which line of dialogue took almost one hour to record? And why was there a hole in Suhaimi’s car?
Mysteries are unravelled and secrets are shared, some of which even the cast members are hearing of for the first time!

Police and Thief was an iconic sitcom, Mr Suhaimi and Mr Mark Lee was truly a legend, truly loved that series while growing up

I like Suhaimi's face half-laughing half-angry face when the guy was confessing the car seat story.
Part of my childhood too on Channel 5 evening. Really shows what Singapore really is. Different race, gender, ages, culture all in one in a comedy. Love you guys!!!

Margaret Lee was the real gem in the series. The only reason why many boys and men were watching the show.

It must’ve been traumatising for ‘Xiao Yun’ to rmb, kinda sound like she was traumatised by being bullied. I feel that only ‘xiao long’ was the one genuine with his apology towards their actions.

Singapore & Malaysia are my second home now! Thank You So Much for all those Life Experiences , Insights , Hindsights & hopefully Foresights from all those Unions that had Dissoluted over the decades but the Fond Memories live on in our Hearts 💜 & Fading Memories! 1990 to 2015 were Precious & Fortunate Period indeed! Many Happy Good Blessings in Return to All Good People of that Era & of the Present Day & May We Meet Again in a Better Place , World & Realm in due Time & Space! 😊🙏🌷🌿🍎🍊🕯🌏✌💜🕊🇸🇬🇲🇾🇨🇭
The bullying part is sad. The fact that "Xiao Yun" was able to speak up...I think she already put this behind. I would think that given their age at that point of time, they didn't know how to really communicate with a girl. Plus, being the only girl (child actor) at the set, it is "easier" to gang up against her.
Just hope in the future such thing won't happen again..
Boys just being boys, I last time young also go disturb girls. Sometimes because we immature want to seek their attention but not really malicious in anyway.

I agree with the director. Wrapping a show around Mark Lee. And Suhaimi is the great candidate to play with Mark Lee. I just realise how versatile Mark Lee is after watching his past show like Abang Ah Beng and Money not enough on netflix. This show on Netflix with Mark Lee in it make me cry. The role he played and the way he act. His face expression and his voice, Just Authentic. Never really feel like acting.

I watched the episode where they "traveled to JB" in a van, it was hilarious but I could spot alot of signs that it was actually filmed in Singapore, even the "checkpoint" building was fake af

Let's be honest, everyone watched Police & Thief because of Margaret's knockers.
I gotta feel for Xiaoyun about the bullying, but as a guy, I feel what the boys were doing. At a growing age I also like to disturb and troll my female classmates because of their reactions. Maybe it got too much and traumatised for the girls.

The three guys looked like they never aged a bit, but Xiaoyun looks very different.

That's the least of their problems. Reused same old guys. Talentless actors somehow worse than the low standard already established. Most egregious are the ABTM cast and social media influencers who keep getting cast into these roles justto get easy viewers rather than have a show made of substance. It's like casting famous Hollywood talentless actors over talented unknowns except Singapore's counterparts are neither that popular but with just as bad or worse acting.
