Malaysian here, and the PCK series was part of our childhood memories here too. We even use the "Don't Pray Pray" among friends in high school and in college.
I’m Malaysian also - and still have some colleagues who quote “don’t play play ah” with each other… 😂
Malaysian here. Still using that phrase casually hehehe
Malaysian here. Looking back PCK had really became a cultural phenomena in Msia Singapore during the days.
Haha and don't forget the phrase "From Singapore, to JB, and some day Batam ~~"
😂
the best are the yellow boots, we named it as Kasut Phua Chu Kang. hahaha
Pierre Png doesnt seem to age at all. He still looks the same. Kudos to him making the effort to maintain his youthful look after 15 long years....simply amazing...
Exactly what I noticed too!
He's 48 in this video!
There are so many guys much younger than him who don't look half as good as him!
Haiya he's vampire Beng
bro he still looking like prince charming
He was my guy crush on the show after Aaron Aziz 😆
I remember back then there was a time - hoax about him being dead been circulating around. Some netizen, not sure bout the motive just like spreading rumours about one being dead when they are in fact alive & kicking.
Read also bout Jackie Chan, Will Smith etc. being dead few times.
The golden years of Singapore television. Very talented cast and production crew
Absolutely agree
Actually those time not much choice. No pay apps tv or set up box for us to view other nternatinal shows
Not saying the cast or this show not good enough, just have to say they were at the right time and right place.
Before the mass sheeping began
Not just Singapore, Malaysia too
@@divinedivinitys now, Malaysia onli concern with making money. All local chinese tv programs r either selling stuff, ads or feng shui which link to money again. They used to have wah lai toi but its gone now. Most other programs like pagentry, talent show or dance competition r gone with exception of the old ppl singing competition which panders only to old but rich ppl who have nth else to do and property developer and product placement that were placed right next to the judges as if the viewers have gold fish memories that had to be reminded every minute who sponsored the show. Its the inferior tacky version of china singing show. So yea this is the sorry state of creativity now
PCK was a hit in Malaysia. The show will always be a part of my childhood
They even do a Malaysian version where pck go to Malaysia to expand his business. Such a memory
They went to JB to extend their business🤣 best contractor in SG and JB
PCK SDN BHD ... Malaysia Boleh ! 🤣
@@smsmurni 🤣🤣🤣 PCK United football team...
Still my show..glad to see them on Netflix
It's a pity that Singapore has no more sitcoms after such a nice start.
Mediacorspe sux.
With ppl like RonLarhz how to carry on?
actually thanks to your minister goh chok tong ,you wouldnt be like this .
@@cant461 alot of ppl complaining about the singlish in PCK at that time.
So he did something there were ppl complaining and when he did nothing also got ppl complaining. Who to please and who to listen to then?
Suppression of creative process in the name of progression and obedience
This is intensely nostalgic. Especially when I see how everyone has aged and the realisation that time just flew by so quickly, hits me in the feels.
Can't agreed more. Time flies.
ya man in a blink of an eye I'll be leaving my "20s" next year 😢😭
@@ÐĐÐĐ I remember just awhile ago I was so excited entering my teenage years now I’m almost in my mid 20’s, I feel scared reaching the 30 mark.😢
Under One Roof, Phua Chu Kang, and Growing Up = my best years!!!!!!! I really shed a tear. Thanks for this reunion.
that and liang po po!
I watched Growing Up on Okto
Ah Kang is Love me
My childhood, speaking as a Malay Malaysian. Seeing current generation, I don’t think there’s a tv show from Singapore with similar impact towards Malaysian.
I used to watch it with my late father. It was aired on Ntv7 in Malaysia last time. How I wish I could watch this reunion with him again. Please appreciate your loved ones before it's too late
Same. It was my dad’s favorite show. Sadly, he passed away on the day this was aired. He would have thoroughly enjoyed this reunion show
Pierre Png looks like he hasn't aged at all!
Seems like it was yesterday
He actually looks younger now. I guess having that moustache for his role made him look older.
He was trapped under ice for the past 15 years..just like captain america 😁
This was not just a regular sitcom for all of us, it gave us the identity we need as our Singlish was what made us Uniquely Singapore. This was something we're all proud of! Thank you PCK!
Pierre Png never aged is it....so handsome ah he. The show was amazing , i grew up watching it and had so much laughter. One of a show that gathers my family together watching tv after dinner.
Yea wei,im envious of the guy.hahahaha
Out of the many reunion of any TV Series, this one tears me up. I grew up watching PCK on NTV7 and 8TV. Thanks for the memories.
Salam
I was surprised when I went to Singapore and I saw there's one area named, I think if not mistaken, Jalan Phua Chu Kang.
It melts my heart when Chu Beng catchphrase "Chu Kang, Rosie".Never get bored with PCK. Always binge-watch it every day. I love all the casts from season 1 to 8..they are really good talents..love from Malaysia❤
Enjoyed every bit. My nephew at the age of 4, he is half caucasian. He wore yellow wellington boots to visit his grand dad at the hospital. The nurses were amused and said "which super hero eh...? He said Phua Chu Kang! They did not expect this🤣🤣🤣
My childhood tv show! Still remember my family and I would watch this show on Ntv 7 malaysia channel while having some snacks. Truly wonderful times.
Me tooo..watching it in NTV7 and TV3 (9PM).
Feeeeeeel gooooooood
I would say, I feel so lucky that PCK was part of my life. So proud of it. Well a bit unlucky for my children who won’t understand the best of it! Still, thanks so much for all of u guys. Phenomenal. Love u all ❤❤
When i was 6 years old my mom made me watch this show ever single day.
she passed away when i was 8 , i continue to watch it to remind me of my mom. Now im 28 years old . Watched it still ❤️
& i was shocked to know that the prime minister calld this show out for the singlishh when i literally learn english from this show .
Thank you for being part of my childhood. The 90s was the greatest era for our local English sitcoms
Now?....l think most of us knows thee answers....Singlish is ok wat
Ya Allah. Rindu sangat zaman dulu2 berkumpul depn tv sambil ketawa tengok phua chu kang. Saya suka giler2 phua chu kang. Memang tak oernah lepas tengok setiap episod. Rindu sangat2 😭😭😭😭😭 ingat lagi episod senario jadi jemputn. And first time tengok aaron aziz. Rasanya ada episod pck yang aaron jemputan.
Malaysian here. I grew up watching this with my family. And even until now, we call the yellow boot as boot Pua Chu Kang. Also, Ah Ma was in her 30s????? Wow she's so good!
I arrived in Singapore 1991, and came to love the uniqueness of singlush and PCK, The Noose, and other local creative productions. 33 years still here, and still loving the culture. Thanks for the memories 😍
Phua Chu Kang really puts Singapore on the map when you knew so little about Singapore. I miss them so much. Wish they have a reunion show at least for 1 or 2 season. They really make my childhood one of the best period in my life when watching them.
Love from Malaysia guys.
My Father used to work in Singapore and during the School Summer Vacations in India me, mom and sis would travel every year to Singapore…I still remember our family watching PCK and Under one roof like we used to watch every Friends Episodes…My Dad Retired in 2012 and came back to India and we have never been to Singapore since…still remember every moment of the last day in Changi Airport me and my dad were freezing waiting for our flight as we got drenched by the rain on our way to the Airport and we heard the news that my sister gave birth to my Nephew back in India…the sadness of something coming to an end was replaced by the happiness of my Nephew being born. Thanks for creating the Reunion Episode it was a Nostalgia Roller Coaster… Hope to be back in Singapore one day 😪
Is Pierre PNG going back in time? He is looking younger than he was during the Sitcom... Looking all fresh...
He's 48 in this video.
Imagine that!
Under One Roof, Growing Up and PCK are the shows that I would religiously sit in front of the TV and watch them make every Singaporean household laugh, clap and cry whether our day is good or bad. I miss the golden era.
Malaysian here...Always n forever waiting to watch this series...My childhood memories😍😍😍But my all time favorite is the phrase 'Don't Pray Pray' n his Singlish 😅😅My Mama always get pissed when I talk like PCK🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️My all time crush Ray Kuan n Pierre Png😍😍Both still looks very handsome😍😍
PhUA CHU KANG was one of my favourite sitcoms while growing up, it brought so much joy and laughter to people from all walks of life, a big thank you the cast and production crew for making this happen. So much wonderful fond memories.
“BEST IN SINGAPORE, JB and some say BATAM!” Best PCK line!
I was in johor then. My kids all grew up with pck. Got all the CDs and still watch it today! Thank you all for enriching our lives with love & laughter. From Borneo
Always been my fav sitcom. Knew ab PCK because of my husband who is a Singaporean - this reunion reminds me of my youth hehe, Suddenly feel like wanna cry because of those years, people that I loved still around, and no covid!!!!!!. Thank you for this reunion. Hope all PCK families are always in good health.
As Malaysian, i cant believe this was my childhood favourite sitcom. We gather infront of tv and actually rarely miss this gems. At that time, i cant even understand what ever they said but i can sense that they are very funny. Now i know why my mom always watch you guys.
We grew up with this show. How the dialogues influenced us all the way.
With love and respect to all PCK team.
❤️❤️
I am Malaysians...I love PCK PTE LTD so much!! I will always remember the good times watching them
SG no longer (able to) produce such localised sitcom or show anymore. Lucky to be in the generation where such shows are a part of our childhood memories. Thank you Under One Roof, PCK, and Growing Up.
PCK brought my brother and I closer as we laughed watching the sitcom together for so many years. My brother is turning 34 and I’m 28 this year but we still watch PCK together when we have time, the latest was a couple months back. Thank you to everyone involved in making this great sitcom, I truly appreciate great talents! Love from Malaysia. ❤️
Enjoyed this so much. Irene Ang is really authentic in reel and real lives. Such a natural she was as Rosie. Well done to the whole cast and crew. So proud to call PCK our very SG own. Fantastic.
I was born in the 00’s but this is very nostalgic to me as I grew up watching it. Whenever I miss watching this show, I will still search in Netflix or any other website to rewatch it. I almost tear up watching this interview🥲 love from Malaysia ❤️
I’m from Philippines worked in Singapore from 1996-2000. Now migrated here in Canada. I love PCK for almost 30 years now ❤I can watch it over and over. Sooo entertaining 😅
I remember me living in Malaysia and my dad was staying at Singapore for work and one day he decided to move back to Malaysia, he bought an antenna box that allows us to watch Singapore channels, this was the very first show my father introduced to us, it has always been a family activity for us and we would try not to miss any episode. I couldn't even speak a word of English at that time I was 7yrs old, until I saw this show, I didn't even know the difference between singlish and normal English back then. Aww the good old times, now all my siblings are working and rarely even meet if it isn't the holiday season, miss the gang.. What a trip down memory lane. Thank you for what you did ❤️
First I smiled, then I laughed, then I teared. Best days of my childhood. Getting to watch the show whenever I'm back at my late grandparents home for the school holidays. PCK was a big part of my life. My dad is a contractor from Penang, I adapted to PCK's famous line and use to say that my dad was the best in Penang, seberang Perai and some say Sungai Petani. 😂
It seems like now would be a good time to revive this show as I think people are ready for this type of show again. There are no current shows like this. Sitcoms are feel good tv. What better than reviving this very loved sit com.
Won't happen... Mediacorp will be losing money by doing these shows again against competition like Netflix and Disney Plus
@@fzessex2969 They’re already making so many shows with low ratings especially on Channel 5, won’t make any difference plus a iconic show like PCK will probably be an exception
I spend my nursery and kindergarten years watching PCK, how I used to wait for Tuesdays as a Toddler. And right, I do miss the days when we had good TV shows like this and Under One Roof, I don't want to have to keep going for Netflix.
Nowadays people keep doing reruns, I don't know if Tan Kheng Hua and Pierre Png are free enough, but it seems nice that we can go and do a new series 15 years later?
PCK helped me get through (and laugh through) my first year back from uni adjusting to life in Singapore. I love that the cast are such close friends after all these years. So much has changed yet so much hasn't.
PCK was also shown in Philippine television around 12 years ago. It was kind of a cultural peek in Singapore TV viewing, I actually found it entertaining and wholesome.
Hopefully we can have a revival of Singapore TV ?
Wow I never knew it was aired outside of Singapore! I saw some comments saying it was on TV in Malaysia too, but Philippines? That’s quite far haha
I dont think so and it will NEVER come back to the good old glory days of Singapore sitcoms. Those days are long gone..and i really miss those moments. The benchmark was set so high back then ...it will be very difficult for the new generation of actors and actresses to overtake them. It will be like a miracle if they can even replicate half of what the OG did. And with introductions of cable tv , NETFLIX and the likes...i feel that Singapore shows, sitcoms are like a dying scene now...
I miss the ice kachang on this show -from PH also
@@FC-eh7ll it has a Malaysian version which ran for 2 season i think.
Also a movie and a musical.
No other local shows achieve this ever again
Almost every time I open netflix, PCK is almost a must-watch tv show for me although I've already watched it numerous times repeatedly and definitely sad that netfilix doesn't have the whole season from 1-8. This show is the best and surrounded by amazing actors. The reunion made me sad, seeing them all getting old. Love from Malaysia.❤
One of my favorite childhood tv shows as a Malaysian..this is how I first learn about Singaporean culture and Singlish..so hilarious 🤣...Chu Beng and Rosie seem not aging much
The english proficiency in malaysia is rather disappointing
@@notwen9779 good for you if your English is really that perfect 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
@@rayiscoolandawesome i mean its no secret that Malaysia is nowhere near Singapore, save for its given geographical position. My apologies if you’re offended, I am just tired of non-singaporeans claiming our heritages/ culture. Nothing personal. Peace ❤️🥂
@@notwen9779 I'm totally not offended but couldn't wrap my head why would you even need to write about that Singapore is better than Malaysia thing. In my original comment, I was only talking about my experience with PCK, Singaporean culture and Singlish. Did it evoke any negativity to you? If that's the case I would be the one who needs to apologise to you.
@@rayiscoolandawesome to be honest Rayz you owe no one an apology here but we Malaysians are just courteous and civil like that kan
this show brought my family together. its something we always look forward to every week
Until now i still remember the phrase "Don't pray pray with me". I know the show because of my dad he introducing me to the show when he still alive we watching it together and laughing for a whole show. In Malaysia the show is on NTV7. Thank you for making a whole kids in the Malaysia on that time have a one of the colourful childhood memories
OMG, my childhood memories!
Best show in Singapore, Malaysia & some say Batam!
Lots of love from Malaysia!
I grew up watching this and never in one episode that I have watched was I not excited for and they even had a PC game on a computer back then that not many people know about which I was lucky enough to play. It is all now just a memory that I can smile happily and laugh about from time to time. Thanks to all PCK Pte Ltd Staff and Actors for all those times.
My favourite NTV7 Singapore TV sitcoms back in the day, PCK PTE Ltd. and Under One Roof.
As a Johorean...this show fill my childhood memories with laughter & happiness...thanks for the laugh 😁
I was a Malaysian growing up in Singapore, and though I’ve long left Singapore, PCK was ,and is still, a part of my life.
I am Malaysian and i would like to say thank you to Phua Chu Kang and families for the memories.. thankyou2
indonesian here.. love Phua Chu Kang. it is so hilarious..
I am also shocked, knowing that Neo Swee Lin is only in her 30's when she's played Ah Ma😱😱😱
PCK sitcom has brought so much to lots of people. If they are in Msia, I bet few of them will be awarded with Dato, Tan Sri...Thank you PCK. I am a Msian.
Remember how my father will gather all of us, we sit and watch PCK together as a family every sunday! Thank you PCK pte ltd family!!! You guys have been such a wonderful childhood memories among the malaysian kids!
It brought back so much memories and fun when the crew visited Sydney's first event for Singaporeans in Sydney (think it was for national day event).
I saw this show when i was senior high school, one of Indonesia Television air this show with subtittle, and i'm laughing so hard in every episode... And i pick my singlish from this show until now 😆
Nostalgic. 😍. The things that really connect Malaysian with Singapore in term of entertainment is PCK. Really nostalgia for the Malaysian 90's kids 😍🥰
This really brings back the memories of my childhood days, where I need to justify to my dad why I need to watch this show when my homework still not finished... I told him, this show improved my English... so he approved 😁
Now as working adults, I still watch PCK on Netflix... Never gets old!
My childhood memories, my favourite show on NTV7
Thanks for making this reunion possible, after the reunions of "Under One Roof" & "Growing Up"!
So happy them reunion all look same phua chukang still remember ntv7 malaysia air this when im still middle until high school my fav chilhood show

Bestnya semua berjumpa kembali dan menceritakan kisah semasa berlakon, sempena Tahun Baru Cina ini. Saya harap semua terus berjaya, bahagia, sihat dan dalam keadaan yang terunggul. Love PCK selamanya
Batam person here, PCK had beed my childhood until High School. This show is simply amazing, truly the best in Singapore, JB, and definitely Batam.
One funny story, my English teacher once gave me an F for verbal English because I spoke Singlish for a story telling assingment, lol. Worth it though!
I arrived in Singapore in 2003 as a teenager and still remember this was a popular show back then…. I live in New Zealand now, Gurmit Singh was quite popular, feels so weird and emotional to see the cast almost 20 hrs since then!
PCK set the golden standard for sitcom in SG. i remember rushin home to watch when it was broadcast on chn 5. becos back then, there wasnt any VOD or netflix.
Being a Johorean who was growing up watching Channel 5 and Channel 8, PCK is the best sitcom ever.
P/S: Margaret introduced me alfalfa 🤣🤣
OMG, i can never forget Margaret and her obsession with alfalfa too!!! 🤣🤣🤣
真的是当年最火红的电视节目,每次都会守着时间看每一集的电视播出,看了这个访问才知道原来pck系列十年了,真的带给家家户户很多搞笑欢乐
PCK was also a hit in Brunei too. I love watching show as a kid, and still do now. 💜
Purely nostalgic watching Singaporean TV casts again from Germany. That makes me feeling very sentimental😊
I was born in 90s and grew up in Johor Bahru. PCK was a hit show in JB because we can access SG tv channel. Everyone in JB knows PCK. Speak like him. “Don’t play2” was famous back then. Not only in JB but all over Malaysia. I remember watched this show as a kid without understand any words because I don’t understand English but ‘Singlish’ makes me understand and enjoy this show. Thank you for all the great years PCK. Glad this reunion exists 😆
Back when TV shows is a must watch, Under One Roof, PCK, The Noose
This show was my childhood show and all the family was enjoy watching it. This show also really2 popular in Malaysia. The tagline “don’t play-play” really popular and we used to say it hahaha.
Omg...I literally grew up watching PCK. We often talked the way pck and the gang talked in the series, making our teachers angry. Believe me sometimes we still do that hahaha...Remember the good old days. My favorite is Rosie. Gosh, I miss the good old days where everything was still affordable. Best wishes for all the casts and crew. Thanks for giving us such a good memory to remember. The show depicts the normal Singapore. We are one. Love you guysss...
i spend my childhood watching PCK and PCK will always be the best sitcom i ever watch. dont know why but this bring me tears. cheers!
I don't know why I'm crying😭 miss my childhood days watching PCK during those days. How time flies.

No other show that comes close to PCK after that. I remember each and every character!
Best Singapore Sitcom..love from Malaysia

My fav comedy show. My husband and I used to watched this when we were living in Chua Chu Kang. I missed those days. I have left Singapore over 20yrs ago but Singapore will be my home.💖💖
In Malaysia, even the Yellow Rubber Rain Boot we called "Phua Chu Kang Boot" or "Kasut Phua Chu Kang" until now..
Also, some of Malaysian kids learn English or SingLish via PCK shows.. What a great childhood! 🥰Don't Play play ahh
