You don’t like cameras, and we don’t like criminals.
Go after your government..you don't like criminals...shut the fuck up .....
Fed
Indeed.
Isn’t the “root cause” the shoplifting to begin with?
Or City politicians and policies.
It is, but what alot don't understand it cost more than the theft for the resources put out to catch the thief and 9 outs 10 times they don't catch them. By the time they are called the perp is on the run etc. It's that easy to get away with theft in cities not built for traffic or over populated etc. Im with you on the theory here, but I get why this is the approach. Stop the access to get the products. What's crazy most of that stuff is over 10$ or more for that deodorant alone they showed to buy in sf when it's only like 3$ anywhere else. There are few places to buy cheap unless it's stolen in sf.
Mainly blm
During the BLM movement it was not shoplifting it was considered racist to call them shoplifters,,
They can steal up to 950 or the cops won’t show up to the store
I'm at a loss for words. Why were people allowed to sell goods that were obviously stolen to begin with and why aren't they confiscating the goods now?? If they were purchased legally they should be able to produce receipts, proof of purchase. SF has seriously lost its way.
Some of the store worker sale these stuff...so how it's stolen.
SFPD does nothing!
You live in a bubble, there are flea markets everywhere across the US that deal in stolen goods, there are also online websites that are platforms for this, Ebay/Craigslist/etc. And FYI this is nothing new, this goes back 10-20 years.
Why is Walmart allowed to sell electronics made from stolen Chinese labor ? Why are real estate agents allowed to sell land stolen from native Americans? It's strange the things that privileged white people choose to be outraged about lol
Don't you need a street permit to sell goods on the sidewalk?
That only applies to legal products.
Only applies to legal citizens
Like they care to get a permit. If so, probably was stolen too and scanned in then changed the name!!!
You need a permit to do a lot of things
The first time police have a violent altercation with some belligerent "vendor" there will be a big protest to defund police.
I agree, but it wasn't that long ago a new York vendor lost his life over selling single cigarettes.
@@hollymccurry0132 Singles help get me through my final years of high school amen 🙏
It’s intentional. Their leader is China CCP President. China is also defunding police in favor of volunteer citizens to watch over their assigned territory.
Hmmm, how about this idea - enforce the existing laws on people who are actually stealing the merchandise to begin with?
🤣
Nah..that would make too much sense :((
The city should create a market for good vendors. Not the sidewalk.
I agree! But I don’t know why they’re barely doing this now that inflation has risen so much!
They have the flea market on Alemany near 101.
We are a sanctuary City that's how business is done in third world Nations
@@rrregee3449 because the city of the state are broke therefore there's money in these little fines and bees that these people must pay to stay out of jail.,. A lot of times police will confiscate their merchandise,, and sell it at the police auction
What a coincidence. Politicians decided to do something about it right after Chesa Boudin got recalled. Sounds like I better do something befor I get my ass recalled too.
5 years in prison for selling stolen good
They treat criminals so well, better then the real bussinesses who have to pay taxes
Most of those people have a side hustle usually SSI SSDI and I would feel they would need a seller's license or business permit seeing as how they're in front of businesses that have to pay those fees they have overhead real businesses and these people don't and the cops are doing nothing about it and it's going to end up looking like Mexico or third world nation
It’s crazy, these damn criminals have more rights than honest, tax paying citizens.
san francesspool
Sh!tfrancisco
Enforcement Day. Ah, so it's just the one day laws actually matter in SF.
It's a political start of that DA they were calling that booty da ripoff guy
Enforcement day everyday please
It is about time, SF is down to the drain.
Openly selling stolen goods. Shameless 😩
Half of these items are probably knock off rather than stolen too.
Wow, and Chesa only just left the building!
imagine if they were enforcing vagrancy and crime
why start now?
Exactly 💯 just leave them alone N let them be...they should be more into catching them when they're stealing not selling..
Because they’re trying to act like they actually do something since they’re shaken by Chesa’s recall lol
@@jujub4553 that's exactly what I was thinking as soon as I posted my comment 💯!! They're trying to fool the people but we ain't stupid! We can see through they're bull💩! All the crimes in the city N they wanna go after the people selling on the street.. straight bull💩 N waste of resources!
How long has this black open market been going on in Cal. ???
@@davidhelling9296 too long.
The cops need to start billy clubbing these thieves.
Baptize them with hickory and anoint them with pepper spray
😂😂😂 this is too much, what are they going to do, give them a free supply of needles? There's certainly not going to prosecute anybody
You mean the people you just let walk out of the store with a cart full of freebies! Hard on crime! Yeah right!
I went to 24 st and people where selling stolen t-shirts for 15 each ,,,they get all kind of item's,,police don't do anything 😒
I want to throw up every time I walk by it looks like the tenderloin 😷
Arrest these people. How about when we arrest these scum bag thieves you keep them in jail instead of releasing them
DEPORT, THEY'RE ILLEGAL ALIENS.
right around midterms
If only San Francisco would ENFORCE laws already on the books, so many problems would be averted. It always amazes me how lawlessness prevails in my city. You can walk into a Safeway and steal whatever you want and no one will challenge you. You can buy any drug you desire easily with no worry of the cops arresting you. You can buy stolen merchandise on 7th and Market St. What a place....
Don't vote for pathetic democrats.
That is all you lefties have to do to fix SF
Just stop voting in the democrats that cause all of this
Keep tying law enforcement hands and they will continue to make a killing under those “guidelines”. Don’t blame the cops blame the voters and politicians. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. All laws and enforcement have very specific caveats.
Can I bring my stuff from the garage and sell it on the sidewalk too?
Actual criminals selling on the street and not getting arrested. A citation is only a slap on the wrist. Stop doing these for shows. Put them in jail.
I bet Nancy Pelosi doesn't shop there lol 🤣
I bet she gets her cut though.
Plan should not be a citation, it should be "we are seizing the stolen property, and you are now going to jail." The end.
TIMES ARE TOUGH..the whole damn country is literally begging for workers.
dont you need a license to sell things???? why arent all those people getting their stolen goods taken !?
Because that would be stealing.
Optics isn’t going to be enough.
How about arresting them and confiscate all those stolen goods? Naw, that makes too much sense.
Here’s a tip for SFPD: At least 20 vendors any given day at 7th/Market. They also sell farmers market food stamps on Wednesday and Sunday. Get ‘em boys!
But do they sell donuts?
Snitches get found in body bags in ditches!
SMH
Don't come to the bronx
SFPD knows were the stolen goods end up. Last year when my car got broken into and my computer bag stolen the SFPD officer who took my report told me to head over 7th and Market the next day. 24 hours later and $250 dollars lighter I bought back my computer from a similar looking hooded and masked skinny punk like the one on the video saying he didn't like to be on camera on the video.
Stop The Thieves
Dang they won’t be able to sell anything the steal anymore on blankets.
Lol, election coming soon.
Red Wave
What a joke.
Criminals aren't happy so in true SF fashion this enforcement will only last a few hours to ensure their rights are elevated over the people paying taxes and buying legit goods.
police should take their stolen goods and make them prove where they got it from.
is this the new play by one London Greed ?
theatrics are always on
come re-election time
Should also include flea markets antique shops online
Homeboy said I don't f with cameras 🤣Ma dawg got Warrants
Times are tough because people in office are cashing monthly state and federal checks and not doing their jobs like they're supposed to.
I'm looking for top quality earphones
Let 'em sell
Keep going, clean it all up.
Busting street vendors of shampoo, that's nice and safe for SFPD.
They sure don't want to tangle with the sellers and fences who deal in smash and grab loot like laptops, phones, et cetera, even though they damned well know of at least two locations where it goes on 24/7.
Or even worse catalytic converter theft. which have been going on for a three decades with no end in sight
@@davidoconnor393 Good point! In Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, and Monterey Counties there have been multiple instances of cat thieves shooting at people when caught. Zero results from the cops; no shooters caught, no increases in patrol.
4th Amendment:
"Search and Seizure"
Absolutely incredible
I went yesterday tons still in San Francisco a yr later nothing helped
About time!
TOO FUCKING LATE BUSINESS ARE ALREADY EFFECTED....
Get them to a place where they can get a brick & mortar? Spoken like a true useless politician errand boy. NEWSFLASH! Even someone who can get legit invoices from wholesalers has trouble paying the rent for a commercial space. It's criminal that people this daft are involved in policy.
I have no words for this stupidity.
It’s like in the mafia movie. Goods come in the front door and out the back door.
Everyone of those vendors needs to have receipts of where they purchased thier items
They should stop it long time ago.
San Francisco is wild. Day and night compared to the east coast
Would it not be justice for the owners of business that have been vandalized by shoplifters, rush the street vendors and steal all of their inventory back in a mad shoplifting reprisal ? They could damage the street vendors private property to make it realistic !
💯👍‼️
Why dont you arrest those selling stolen goods?
What stolen goods? It is legal to take from stores with 0 payment!
wheres the mayor..
I thought she said she is going to get tough? and new law, should have been tough in the beginning...amazing!
They said that 2 months ago..same story lol
After 2 years you are finally doing something
the guy refuses on camera is the guy who stole
Citations?
You gota protect the vendors that are doing good... isn't selling stolen goods a crime?
people can also be couponing to be able to sell all those supplies not everything being sold like that is stolen
I think I bought some things when I stayed at air
Bnb in Oakland . I didn’t think it was stolen
Check in San Jose Flea Markets pop up shops selling tides and other stuff.
Why not target the people stealing first? 🤦♂️
I hate living near that place , it stinks and people can barely walk on the sidewalk because of all those stolen things.
Thank you for re calling boudin, go to McAllister and Leavenworth and see those Spanish guys buying stolen items, Phones, laptop, Walgreens items, all stores items!
Thank you for getting those people off the Street we don’t want this
Until they put a gun in your head and still your things , let them hustle
Finally!
You have to pack it up. WTF? Confiscate that stolen stuff.
So they're allowed to steal from the store no repercussions but when they're on the street selling it and then it's a big problem?
San Francisco is a lost cause
Too little way too late.
They need to crack down on those people that get free food from programs that are not even homeless and sell it on the next block
Asians🤷🏿♂️
How do you prove that they're stolen goods? SMH
Did she say “this unfortunate day…?”
wow
The fact this hasn’t been a law already when it’s been word around town (I’m from sf) for a decent amount of time is wild. I remember as a teen I’d go to that exact area and buy dope artwork and pieces to wear from legitimate vendors, they need their space back for real.
I didn't see anybody wearing flowers in their hair and I saw some non-gentle people there. It's a new generation.
Summertime, they will be sellin' someone else's stuff in the streets of San Francisco. There's a whole generation with a new explanation of right and wrong.
It would be ironic if they got shoplifted
But people can still sell drugs and murder/assault people without consequences! 🙄
You don't see these street vendors robbed
How much did it cost to create this “new” law?
Cracking down???? I thought that was already illegal'
Nobody’s gonna do anything. They’ll be right back tomorrow. The area smells like something died. I walk by every day and it’s disgusting.
I saw today on Matket st people approaching masked Chinese old ladies and noticed exchanging cash for pack of cigarettes. The old ladies seem to be at the corners with a whole backpack of stolen cigarettes. They are stealing customers from legal businesses in the area. Keep an eye for the okd ladies.
There is no privacy in public.
Vending chemicals - toothpaste etc....in the sun ?
Expiration dates.
Help them
into brick and mortar ? Rent
Too funny.
🤺💐
Lol, the crime is so bad there that career criminals from other countries are going there to steal but gotta watch out for those street vendors!!
So my daughter cannot have a lemonade stamd for a lesson or a few bucks...but this continues
Lawless in San Fransisco.
Man datz da bloxk 2 get quick cash🤣🤣🤣
Dey got me on news 🤦♂️🤦♂️💯💯 n i told him not to film and i told not 2 record me 🤬🤬🤐🤐💯💯
Vendors don't pay rent..why would a vendor pay rent when you clearly don't have too
Lol, they are not arresting these thieves?
Where is Stanley Roberts and his People Behaving Badly cameras?
