Nah guys, the 6th generation Camaro's biggest problem was that it was over engineered. Particularly the SS. The Alpha platform brought lighter weight and rigidity, but costs more to produce. You are so very welcome John! You have a tough decision to make.
GO WITH A CAMARO!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
@@steffyhobmann5037 🙏 Thank you
That think looks AMAZING!! Can you do a review on a 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500HD LTZ Crew Cab please?
I will get that together with you!
@@RaitisRides Thank You Joe!
Great car, I rented one of these a few years back when I first visited the United States and it was my first experience of driving a proper muscle car. I agree Joe, once you climb inside then you just forget how compact the cabin is and focus on how great a car they are. It's a shame they are being discontinued as the Camaro, Mustang and Challenger are just iconic, they are really an American institution.
Wow that beast is beautiful!
I totally agree with you!
Gotta love the tride and true pushrod V8 engines! 😁😁
That is so very true! So unique!
Always cracks me up when you describe spaces in the form of how many twinkies could fit in it. Awesome car and great review
Thanks man for being so supportive!
Just bought a 2021 3ltrs wild cherry, 6 cylinder 6 speed manual and I love it. Took possession December 30th 2020
Congrats Phil!
GM used to be easily my favorite. At least for now the Camaro, Corvette, CTS-V still exist! They will kill off everything in time.
I know how you feel Chris!
I have the 2020 2SS Convertible and its so much fun to drive. It has so much power you can't open it up for too long without getting way to fast for most places. I live in San Diego so the highways are to crowded to really open it up but cruising around town with the top down... great.
That is a beautiful color.
I totally agree with you Johnny!
This dude gets so pumped about the engine, I love it!
guess I got lucky, my dealer ordered my 1ss with recaros, manual and active exhaust....and got it in the low 30k range
Now we are talking!
I watch this over and over cause a Camaro SS is my dream car but by the time I'll be able to afford one they won't be making them anymore
Perfect color with black taillights, most red cars' red taillights are just invisible
That is a great point!
Awesome job Lorie!!! You too Joe :) I had a 2011 and it was a blast, not sure if I could have another Camaro with the 68. A ton of fun, it would be a sad day if they stopped making them again.
Thanks for showing Lori some love! I hope they continue with this iconic car.
Hopefully the Chevrolet would release a stunning facelift of the 7th gen Camaro, to out run these Mustangs in terms of selling rates.
Fingers crossed!
AGREE!
I had a top trim 2016 2SS and will never have one again. Was an endless money pit. But it was the funniest car I ever had.
love the pit of the stomach acceleration - gotta get me one of these!!! w/sunroof. ;)
I totally agree with you!
I love the Chevy Camaro 2ss used to have a 1997 SS, Thinking about getting 19-21, haven't decided yet. Thanks for the updated
Camaro's are also my favorite muscle cars in my book.
Black Cat Girlfriend: Same, since it's called the Wildcherry, then I would imagine just licking it so bad that the flavor of cherry would taste so good all around the car.
I am so glad that I could share this one with you!
@Vegas 7 My Girlfriend who is a Mascot of Me.
I bought the Chevy Camaro LT1 and it has a lot of the options and the drive mode. I keep mine on the sport and that engine sounds excited me all over!! Bottom line:I LOVE THIS CAR!!! Thanks so much for the info on the 2021!! Sounds like I'm doing a trade in next year! I freaking love that color!! Thanks so much for the info and of course the video!! Cootoe's to the wife!! Great video!! And yea, I am now a subscriber!!
Congrats Glenn! I am so glad that I could share my car passion with you!
Great car looks very agressive very powerful 👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
I am so glad that you are digging this muscle car Dylan!
My daughter was initially looking at Camaros. She like me is more about handling than blow out speed. She may be NAVY fearless, but she also practical. After looking at all the models available, she and I agreed that the RS with the V6 was best for her. At 330 hp, it was wicked fast and still not a total guzzler.
yea! back to muscle cars!
That's how we like to do it on Raiti's Rides!
I had this car as a rental. I loved the power and sound. It is a big car with a tiny trunk. It would be a fun weekend toy
Thanks Curtis for sharing your experience!
Wait the Camaros are going to be discontinued?!?! 😩
Only because we don't buy them by the metric ton.
No official statement from GM, but according to a number of sources they're dropping it in 2023. Because according to GM and Ford all us Americans just want "Crossover" vehicles.
Safe to say Chevrolet caters to the Karens now, @@2414kels. (Exception being the Corvette.)
@@2414kels and manufacturers are investing more into EVs so it's a possibility this might be our last full gas powered Camaro. California has already passed a law that only new EVs can be sold in Cali 😥.
2023? Still a long way to go. More than enough time to get one of these
One of his funniest reviews. "If your driving around basketball players you might want to put them in the trailer behind the car." Lol
This car get the award for thousands of face-lifts lol
LOL
So true!
What about the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, Acura ILX, Mitsu Mirage. They just keep refreshing an old car with a new face.
I think that award goes to the f150 😂
@@joseoctaviomorenorodriguez9541 Your comment is very true, however the challenger had a nice design to begin with unlike the Camaro. However, the challenger is getting kind of boring looking. All of the cars you mentioned need a complete redesign.
wow this looks nice I realize that after owning a camaro for years this car doesn't need exterior interior mods ...The car itself is really beautiful specially the red line edition
Bring back that Monte Carlo SS
I wish!
yeah but NOT with front wheel drive...
Good placement of the AC vents, if you want your knuckles and knees to be stone cold. This car has deadly blind spots in the rear. You absolutely cannot see a thing over your right shoulder. I'll stick with my GT Stang.
"Squirt cream everywhere and that may not be the only time" I saw what you did there
Thanks for letting me share some laughs with you!
@@RaitisRides I'm a subscriber/viewer from all the way in Jamaica. You do great work. Can't wait to see you with that Gold Play Button.
I absolutely love my wife's 2020 Garnet red tint coat LT1. This color appears to be one shade lighter and it is a great color. I will be honest and almost like driving her camaro better than my C7. They have the same motor but that new 10sp auto is so dang good. I do wish we could have got her an SS just to have the little better interior over the LT1 but the camaro is great to drive.
I will tell anyone thinking about buying a camaro, make sure it has the Bose system in it. Her car came with the base radio and it is horrendous.
Only 2 twinkies in the center console? So no twinkies for Lori? 😁
I always share. LOL
There really wasn’t a problem with the bow tie in the grill to me, in person it looks way better than on a camera
No sunroof...booooooo
Camaro’s need their Shark 🦈 Fin
Right!!! My cars all have to have a sunroof!!! But I can build one with a sunroof and my local Chevy dealer will order it!! Extra $995 but well worth it to me!!
T-tops will be super.
Joe this is a sweet ride ..but must admit your GT350R is just more muscle all around!
Hopefully the camaro stays
I am keeping my fingers crossed!
For two door American coupes in worst to best I go Mustang -> Camaro -> Challenger. I hope the Camaro gets to stay and it gets better.
Corvette and Camaro. 2 of my favorite cars. Just so much style.
Hmm like the color, and the wheel set up
It really pops!
I already did! I bought a new Wild Cherry 21 ZL1! It looks beautiful sitting next my GT500 sir. I’ve sent you comments before? How are you doing sir? I absolutely love when u do Shelbys and Camaro’s!
Which one you like better?
oooh now that is beautiful! my favorite camaro I seen so far. they got the front end right with this. I would take this over a mustang.
I am so glad that you are liking this one.
Not necessary to have lots of storage in every car, for twinkies or whatever, car is just beautiful.
This is true. Just don't squirt cream every where and things will be fine. LOL
I am a Mustang guy, but I dont want the camaro to go away. the competition bewteen the brands helps both cars be their best.
I totally agree with you!
Do you like the ZL1 model?
They key fob should be personalised.
Small details matter.
Best thing about this engine is that it has a lot of tuning potential.
There’s no changes except wireless Apple car play/android auto.
This car is hands above a GT or Challenger. This is actually a sports car.
Thanks for letting me share it with you!
Can't believe I got rid of my 2017 1SS. Very dumb idea. I really loved that car. People keep talking about the visibility but it didn't really bothered me and it was my DD.
I am sorry to hear about that Ed. Maybe you can get another one down the road!
I recently got a camaro v6 rs and I love it. I wish I was able to get the v8 but I can complain
Congrats Xavier! Thanks for sharing that great input from your experience!
That's how I felt when I got my voice Camaro back in 2013.. but in 2016 I went for a 15' corvette.. for the same price as a ss right here I got a z51 3LT vette. No regrets besides the color.. wish I got a red one instead of black
Thanks Lori, giving you some Love in the comments section ......
Love this guy
Thanks for saying that!
You da man Raiti. Best RUclips car reviews period 👌
THAT IS MY DREAM CAR
I am so glad that I could share it with you!
Amazing review truly my favorite reviewer on youtube
They gonna do a 2021 ZL1 1LE??
if it had a bigger back seat and little bigger trunk space I'd get one in a heart beat, but I went with a Challenger. In everyday driving, they both feel the same to me.
I can totally understand that!
Most people would much rather buy a Ford Mustang than a Chevorlet Camero.
I know I prefer the Mustang.
Lots of pedestrian traffic where I live
@@paulg7964 Exactly. The visibility in the current Chevorlet Camero is so bad compared to the current Ford Mustang, that pedestrians are in imminent danger. Pedestrian and Passenger safety should be the highest priorities for any modern 2020 car manufacturer.
It’s been spelled ‘Camaro’ since it came on the scene for God’s sake! I’ve never seen ‘Mustang’ spelled ‘Musteng’!
And no, most people do not want to buy a Mustang rather than a Camaro, they’d rather buy a SUV or crossover or whatever dumb appliance vehicle is on the market.
