👁 About this video : In today's video we take a look at the 2021 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS! The exterior has a great look, sharp lines and functional vents all around! I love the look of the grills up front, and this one has a nice set of wheels! A favorite feature on this car has to be the rear camera for the rear view mirror, definitely a must for this car as it gives your great visibility for what's behind the car! The fixed spoiler is at a good height and a nice finish to match the rest of the accents! The interior has a really nice design with premium materials and a great layout! This model has a lot of goodies like the heated/ventilated seats, the large screen and even room in the back for two more people! While they aren't the largest, you can use these seats if needed! The driving experience is very nice, it's super planted and that V8 sounds incredible! I love how smooth it shifts even having the 10 speed, it's quick!

Have a '19 SS A10. It is no joke. Really an amazing machine inside and out. And if you get a base 1SS like I did, not even super expensive. For $35K, you practically get a supercar.
The Camaro definitely has some great performance to it!

They are there for insurance purposes. Insurance is a little less costly versus a 2 seater nasty sports car according to insurance companys.. Same with HP rating, they show less to keep ins. less for you....
@@rich4860 That's actually not true, insurance doesn't care if there are back seats or not, common misconception. And HP won't indicate your rate either. It's more so based on the history of the car. Do owners total them more often, are they safe drivers and also the individuals driving record as well and the safety rating. My Supra is cheaper to insure then my GTR. Vehicle cost makes more of a difference then back seats. Also my brothers R8 cost about the same as his four door Tacoma with more HP and less seats and a lot more expensive.

I just ordered my 2ss yesterday. They're talking about how the plants that make them are shut down and that I might have to wait and get a 2022. Have you got yours yet?
@@rudyferrell yeah bro, I got mine about a month ago. I heard the same thing that sucks. I hope you can get one in 2022. I think it has something to do with the components that go into the computer chips being a shortage.
@@Gamezdude_ I’m doing a factory order for a 2SS too. I live in Canada and the dealer said I could be waiting up to 10 months. Aw well if that’s the case it’ll be here for summer

I’m on my 4th Camaro. I’ve had a 3rd gen, and two 5th gens. I currently have a 6th gen 2019 Camaro SS 1le. The 1le is the better car when compared to the 2SS price point. Tech vs. performance package. Yes, mechanical vs electronic differential makes a big difference. Also, that Pep Boys fuel cap is gross, never do that. Good review though.

Great review. I've usually found myself on the chevy side of the Ford/Chevy debate although I'll admit Ford's mopping the floor with chevrolet in the trucks and probably with the mustang but i still like what you showcased in this review and the like the co-produced ford/chevy 10 speed. The seats look like the pull you right in. Once i finish one of my current loans I'm adding american muscle too the stable I'd go for this SS. Not sure if I'd choose the great 10 speed over manual though. I think chevy did awesome with the C8 and made a nice place for the camero to blossom.
Glad you enjoyed the video! I'd stick with the manual if I was buying one. But the Camaro does have a lot to offer and really shrinks around you and is fun to drive!

Depends if you need the extra space. The C7 is sweet and almost as practical as far as space, minus being a 4 seater.

Yeah as far as handling goes, the R8 is much more nimble! V8 to V8 tho, this Camaro is faster. But the V10 should beat it!

Definitely not going to do that in someone else's car, I'm not doing this video for crazy pulls, just mild accelerations. It's also a new car so only so much you can do.

LED lights don't get filmed correctly due to the camera. So our eyes don't see this effect. Only the camera does lol

Congrats on the car!! They don't have a spare, but it should have a spare tire kit, (like a small compressor and some other tools), but there's no room for a spare.

That's what Chevrolet picked for it. That's how it comes from the factory, not sure if you can or want to downgrade. Another brand would be putting in another system.
Looks cool. A lot of money however given quality and reliability issues (springs, differential, etc.).

Possibly, that's not usually a feature on US spec cars, but I have seen it on a few.

Chevy's are known to have issues, but I guess it depends on the car you want too because Lexus doesn't have a Camaro competitor. The Lexus lineup is more luxurious than sporty. What kind of Lexus would you want?

Yeah thats the same story with a lot of used cars vs new, and lower trim levels vs fully loaded. But you can also buy a used SS and throw a supercharger on it and it'd have 700 HP for cheaper then this new one ;)
Wait a second so top speed is around 160 but the speedometer goes up to 200😂
Yeah. That's the same in most cars, the speedo goes up to a higher number than it actually goes. In my Tacoma which tops out around 115, the speedo goes to 125.

Yes they are small but are functional! Better then a 911 or Evora! I could fit in the back fine, not as good as a challenger, but they are there and useful.
