Eltoro ryan did a great video on The Beast and made a "great point"! The Beast was built and designed in house byt the head of maintenance and construction workers with zero experience buiding roller coasters! All others were by professionals using computers and equations! They did have some written on napkins by John Allen! But basically its the "only" backyard roller coaster! It's like someone building a roller coaster for their kids! Only huge! Its a bullet train through the woods! I love the janky sound of the lift hill,smell of wood and oil! It is one of a kind! And at night with a full moon,,,"UNBEATABLE"!!!
It is a special ride. There is nothing like it, and it disregards things that many love about roller coasters. Despite this, it works and it's amazing.
@@ThemeParkAvenue It is also my home park,,live in Cincinnati so I have alot of memories and it has some sentimental value as well! I truly hope they "NEVER" tear it down
Mystic timbers, was probably one of the most fun when I was there (we got to ride it at night) I was in the 2nd seat with a friend my 2 other friends in the front they made eye contact at the top and they knew what was about to happen, god I loved it.
The first half of the beast is good too, especially as a warm up for the second half. I made, made my wife and two younger daughters get a night ride on it last year. Damn double helix cracked my iPhone screen. Worth it! Stopped by on our way home from Dollywood/the smoky’s this month just to ride The Beast and mystic Timbers at night and watch fireworks.
8:35 I’m gonna disagree with that. I rode it in August of this year while holding up the lap bar in the front row and the back row. The airtime was severely lacking. I thought this thing was very overrated and nowhere near top 5 in the park

For the last ride of the night on flight of fear they turn on the lights which does make a significant change to the feel of the ride.

That’s one of very few opinions where I really don’t understand it, but I respect that plenty of people say that.
