Just avoid the entire city!
Tip for tourists, buy your own beers and walk the riverwalk
San Antonio is awesome as long as you love grey skies 75% of the time to go along with the average 85% humidity and 90+ consecutive 100+ degree days. Your children will be fat but great at video games. Sickness is constant because the entire city is related to each other and has BBQs every weekend and everyone comes even if they are dying of covid. Wonderful just wonderful city. Outside activities? Yeah theres 2. As long as you like sweating your ass off during summer that lasts 10 months of the year. Hope you like traffic. Entire city has been under construction since 1980. Great city planners. By the time construction is complete, you need 2 more lanes because every 30 years theres about 5 generations born. Fantastic city.
A little exaggerated, but I can appreciate the sarcasm.
Grey skies 75% of the time? Lol yeah in winter maybe. Spring & Summer is all skies & sun my dude😂

I'd bet there's a common denominator in those areas, that is the same with every other high crime area.
It's called voting Republican
@@gregwalker6281 If you managed typing that without chuckling....salute!
@@fermiticus4034 only seems that way to the uneducated gullible anti-American cult

lol I used to work at Wheatley Middle school and walk from there to downtown everyday wearing my red uniform. Nothing ever happened but there were a few bodies found, fights, and obviously drugs in the area.
exactly! I live across from Wheatly middle (YMLA) and never have problems because I stay to myself.
If Heights is in the name, avoid it. That is pretty much universal with a few small exceptions.
15 Años viviendo en East Terrell Hills y apenas me entero de que es un barrio peligroso, siempre veo a mis vecinos caaminando muy tranquilos por la mañana y gracias a Dios nunca hemos tenido un incidente.
So happy I live 30 min outside San Antonio
I’m from San Antonio Texas been here all my life. The Denver Heights is one of the major hoods, but nobody goes to those places not no tourist.
Tourists just need to stay in tourist areas 😂
For perspective, Brooklyn NY has a crime rate about 3x the national average..
My house 😂😂😂210!!!
Boy I’m from San Antonio, Texas I never heard this😂😂
Nooo! 😱 Greg Abbott said it was Chicago. I should have known cowboys. 🤠
Denver Heights is southEAST of Downtown pendejo.....and it's not that bad.....
🤣🤣 I was waiting for the pendejo comment
False, but how many tourists visit neighborhoods on vacation?
Yes. Because that’s what tourists do- go to sightseeing in random neighborhoods.
Stay away from the 410 loop, South Town, balcones and castroville. Oh and most of downtown because people are getting shot at pretty much every event now. You're welcome:)
I visit all the time. But I go to places like the Mercado, Riverwalk area, Southside mall, northstar mall, around the zoo, museums and go to those large flea markets they have.
they look nice from the air.
Seriously, I lived off of Southcross for 3 years, I personally never had any problems but,low key, I was waiting for it to pop on the list. 😂
The hoods im from... U get jumped and robbed if you not from there. There are zero places like that in SA. Smh its that dangerous.
@@johnswag7083 you never been to Denver Heights at night, I know plenty people that wound up face down in their own fluid in a backstreet because of it don’t get too comfortable
I lived in Denver heights for 10 years as a kid, we always had reports of van kidnapping and drive bys, house got robbed a few times
