Вольво хорошо отработал,жаль последствия не показали
And the results analysis?
The voyager didn't do as poorly as I'd have thought
It is a quite stable car.
mostly because it was the heavier vehicle (more than a 1000 lbs) in this case, but against a concrete highway divider or something like it would have been a very different story as the second car would not be there to absorb the energy like it did. The vehicle with less momentum will end up suffering with more energy transferring to it unfortunately.
ruclips.net/video/1zofHiSfJNQ/видео.html as seen in this video being tested against a barrier the chrysler doesn't do as well (different name depending on country sold) while the volvo ruclips.net/video/Gxer6QMxbNg/видео.html holds the cabin shape better.
Those happen to be my dad and I’s respective cars. Eerie.

Volvo for life
Chrysler for life
@@point4894Volvo™️> overrated plastic overpriced piece of dangerous junk
@@point4894VOLVO
@@point4894The S60 was a sitting duck and I have no more to say only Volvo 4 life.
Not enough info. Years of cars? Speeds of each car? I mean if ones going 15 mph and the other is going 45 mph it's going to be far different if they are both going 35 mph equally speed. Integrity of structures? For example rust any structure modifications of one or the other? Interior of both cars plus it only shows one side of the impact.
Results?
Chrysler is heavier and seems to go faster.
Yet volvo seems to be able door open after all.
Chrysler for me. I like MPVs more than saloons
Both did well externally.
nice
VOLVO❤
VOLVOOOOO! 💪
The driver of the Volvo wouldn’t have survived this impact
Надо было с XC90! Вы бы ещё с автобусом провели эксперимент!😁
конечно масса будет решать
Both held up, so nice, i think a fallen spare wheel doesn't affect the crash but and this a BIG BUT data would be worse for the Volvo bc it was so much lighter it got stopped and pushed backwards which means more g's thus higher forces with more possibility for internal injuries
And? What happened? What is result? No information at all? Why only slowmo, terrible upload.
look at the front wheels. volvo amasing.
И что?
İyi güzel ama sonuç ney sağlam hangisi ?
Volvo more solid
@@mar0239 Says who?
@@wp8022 when you realize the weight of volvo and chrysler weight clear winner is volvo...
This voyager you can compare with xc60 or xc90 and yes there is clear winner too..volvo.
NORDIC STEEL :)
American steel is superior 😁
Volvo special❤️
, 🦌
Great result by the Volvo, given the fact that the Chrysler was going faster and also weighs over 400 kg more.
That Chrysler fell apart! LOL
Volvo all day 💕
The driver of the Volvo might have suffered a lot of internal injuries and even death, as the deceleration they experienced and the forces are much heavier due to the car’s much lighter mass (these weigh almost half as much as the Grand Voyager) I own an old S60 like this one, however I do understand its safety is not as good as it used to be, as heavier, bigger and taller cars nowadays put its lighter build at a disadvantage. I am seriously considering selling it and buying an SUV, I just don’t feel safe anymore
No lmao, the tinny Volvo fell apart and got slammed out of the way lol.
У вольво только капот помялся
Volvo, obviously

GAAAHN ........
zuende ?
dann "guts Nächtle" ....
Guarantee the driver of the minivan will be in worst shape than the Volvo, the laws of physics is one thing but engineering a car to not only hold up during a crash but effectively control body movement is another and if you've ever seen a Chrysler van crash test, the look to hold up but the old school engineering means the passengers will get the crash energy
Volvo will can ride after that crash Lmao
Volvo
What is that? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Van is moving at least 4 time faster than Volvo. 👎
Why?

I have a Chrysler Grand Voyager and the fuel economy is rubbish (better on motorways I think (though rubbish regardless), because of less stopping and starting, but I don't use motorways often as I like being able to have more options for rests (parking areas or laybys on many dual carriageways, supermarkets, Costas, side streets, etc. vs just a motorway services every who knows how many miles?) - and of course motorway service stations are more expensive than a supermarket) but I do feel safer in it than an older smaller car I had.
I can see ahead more easily because it's slightly higher up, any rear end smash is met with either the back of the (longer than a normal car) car's body before my head - or if the seats are up, the seats are hit before my head, massively slowing impact, and rear end collisions happen more often than front ones, I think.
The Chrysler Grand Voyager performed poorly in official Euro NCAP tests with those crash dummies, but Chrysler argued the test carried out was not fair and that several improvements had been made anyway. The handling is poor - don't go too fast round bends or corners unless they're wide bends - but I like just about everything else - besides the fuel economy and battery - about it. I feel a lot safer and as it's big, it gets noticed much more easily. The battery is rubbish but that may just be my model of it. So in summary:
- rubbish fuel economy
- poor handling
- poor battery (don't leave sidelights on)
- back seats are probably unsafe due to lack of airbags other than side ones (may be the case that not all models have side ones though)
- feels safer than a smaller car
- more easy for other drivers to notice
- can see further ahead
- has either a long-ish empty back (van style) or a load of seats (if you have them up) before a rear impact reaches you
My brakes are also great but I had special ones fitted.
There are several problems with Chryslers though, but most are just annoyances (e.g. suspension not being great but mine seems reasonably alright). Some are worse such as handbrake problems.
I'm not trying to advertise it, just giving you info on my own large car. SUVs may be similar (my car is an MPV) but presumably without folding back seats. It is annoying that I have to put the engine on if I'm going to use something that uses battery for a long time, such as the heater. I presume due to the large size, fuel economy is also rubbish on many SUVs.
Oh and I don't know if this is true for all SUVs, but my car accelerates fast to 30 or 40 but can take 7 seconds or a bit more to get from 0-60.
@@rogueuniversities6866 Indeed, I absolutely love my car and it has been truly perfect, the most reliable and comfortable car I’ve owned, perfect for long trips. But seeing this made me realise it is not as safe as I thought it would be, I am currently considering trading it for a new Hyundai Tucson (very safe although I truly hate the design), however the trade in value is way too low even if the car is in great shape, but it’s old so I think it’s meant to be cheap now, sadly.
Also, I actually drove a Grand Voyager like yours a long time ago and found it quite pleasant, aside from the gear change which was very rubbery and imprecise, much rather have an automatic.
@@santileonsteinberg1441 I'd say your S60 is probably safer than a Tucson. Like really? U said u wanted a bigger heavier car. Tucsons are quite small. Stick to a Volvo or something German if you can. XC60? Maybe used?
That is not true.. Haha. Volvo still kept up well. And actually it is the driver of the voyager who can suffer very serious injuries as it did super poor on the crash test. Actually it is fatal. Again I can recommend you as to others commenting here. That you could study the topic well before commenting here.... (This answer was to you : rogue university or wtf is your name.)
The Chrysler DOES NOT weigh twice as much as the Volvo, the Chrysler weighs in approx. 4100 lbs, the Volvo weighs 3700 lbs. Obvious from the video the Chrysler was traveling faster than the Volvo upon collision. The Volvo held-up just fine, protected the passenger compartment and passenger if it had one.
