There are several reasons, before exporting your .obj file from illustrator, give it a particular color such as red or blue, so you are sure it is not an illustrator error. When you import your .obj file into blender, go into the object materials and see if there is the base material, which is usually the color. Some illustrator materials may not be compatible in blender, my tip is to always apply the material inside a blender, also because you have more possibilities to create materials or apply textures
mine is actually always pretty small when I import it into blender and also very 'pixelated'. The Vertecies are not acting right, it's also a whole lot of them (40-70k). How do I make my Imported 3d shape look clean, smooth and nice. Can you help me please?
can you tell me please how can I do this method to my png logo cause i'm used to photoshop and I never touched illustrator since i started in 2017 haha
Game changer - good vid
Thank you,this helped a lot!
How do we ensure that the 3D colors we import are also saved in Blender?
Why is there no color when I add it to blender?

unfortunately this method only works for vector-based objects, so you'd have to first turn your bitmap image into a vector inside illustrator
how do you export
