While I really do enjoy all these videos, I don’t think these guys have ever said a negative thing about ANY of the boats. Not sure how good these really are for the consumer. This is the third one of these I’ve watched. All boats can’t be so perfect!
potatomonster7 we generally try and cover the key features you should be looking for a boat in a particular class. All boats have compromises, there really isn’t a perfect boat for all situations. So we choose not to focus on the shortcomings.
I live in Brisbane Australia...and worked for 5 years on Moreton Bay and surrounding open ocean. I drove several boats (mono 65foot, twin hull 30ft, tri-hull 22 foot) on these waters. The twin hull (Noosa Cat) totally dominated all sea conditions, and smashed the dangerous bars. Honestly, a well balanced twin hull cannot be beaten for stability on chop and dangerous bars.
Man i wish I can walk inside a dealership n buy a boat i had thought i had bought a dream boat for my little boys dreamcome true john boat with tiller 25hp mercury took forever to save to only have someone steal it from my kids less than a week sux man kids was so heart broken wish I could afford another little boat for them
we went fishing on a 26 ft Glacier Bay in choppy waters off South Miami and it was quite comfortable. Caught a few Remora and a puffer but had a lot of fun. Boat is huge and much more comfy than a monohaul same or bigger size.
I deckhand for a charter boat and we run a 33 freeman. I have ran other cats such as twin vee and glacier bay. They have others that are good but freeman is the Rolls Royce
As a Glacier Bay 2680 owner, I will tell you the half windshield will be a wet ride in rough water. When it sneezes you will be getting wet. In the rough water outside the Golden Gate,2-4 foot waves and 6-10 foot swells, I know my Skipjack 25 gives you a better ride, especially when loaded heavy.
I would put in a removable door that slots into place between the bowrider and the rest of the boat, so if you stuff the nose you don't swamp the whole boat.
I think these are more paid advertisements as opposed to reviews. As stated by others you should have Freeman and Invincible in here if you’re actually going to do catamarans
you're not going to get a negative review from either current sponsors or potential future sponsors, they pay the bills and salaries,....but, they were pretty honest in this show. Cats really are awesome machines and their advantages are pretty much as they described. I lived in Fl. for a long time and have been on lots of v-hulls and a few cats and I liked the cats better. I noticed the guys with the deep-v's that I went out with seemed to like to remind you of how fast their boats were and how "serious" their boats were. Seemed more the type that liked to let everyone know they were manly type men whereas the cat-owners I went fishing with were more just regular guys. Kind of like the men in Georgia where I live now, the macho assholes seem drawn towards the big loud, lifted trucks, that are seemingly never actually in mud or dirt, always shiny for some reason?
perhaps I am missing something here, but the absence of joystick control seems odd? I would think such an awesome seeming group of boats would have this feature. or maybe it is there but they didn't think it worth highlighting?
pontoons are aluminum. No gelcoat to crack or spyder. Great for running up on beach. worldcat is gelcoat. gelcoat does not like sand, pebbles or rocks, items found on beach. Gelcoat is extremely expensive to repair correctly.
If only the size and the money. A tow-able cat will cost so much less than a moored mono that cat do he same. Now diesel shaft twin cat bang for your buck. I have had the pleasure of twin two stroke cat performance but the price point is not the same. A 17.5 ft cat with twin 85 Yamaha non counter rotating props landed regularly on its gunnel in heavy sea. Fun but brutal on the body. Twin props and a well thought out sea keeping ability is what you need. good luck,
This isn't cats of all types its cats offered by world cat...... What about Calcutta, Freeman, Americats... Those are fishing cats not a bs cat from World Cat.
Where I live the sun is horrid, skin cancer being the side effect. I would feff want to be able to get out the sun .. the sports Fisher does not offer much sun protection up front
Strange.... I was talking with a guy yesterday that has a cat. He told me the cat rides a lot better and a lot smoother. But he told me his cat rolls a lot more at rest in seas
Yes world cats do that. The only time i’ve ever gone overboard was on a world cat, and we caught a wave and it rolled hard and 3 people in the back of the boat fell out. They are also very slow. A freeman, sea hunter, invincible, on the other hand rides amazing and do not roll.
In my opinion, they are the ugliest catamarans I’ve ever seen it’s like being stuck in the 80’s with the style and design!!! And the bow curves and the nose that sticks out, keep all 3 WorldCat, you tried and struck out!!!

It's a sponsored video. They were paid to try and help sell these boats. Would you pay someone to talk negatively about your product? Probably not.

How does a cat go crossing a bar inbound with a following sea?
@@mitseraffej5812
fine. you get on the back of a bigger wave and stay on it through the bar.....same as a monohull.
Thank you for making this video. I am tired of getting pounded on my boat. Visiting dealer Wednesday

Hard to imagine a "best boats" catamaran edition without a Freeman.
I have been dying to ride on a freeman. with a near 2 year wait time. Id say they are for sure the best catamaran out there
I deckhand for a charter boat and we run a 33 freeman. I have ran other cats such as twin vee and glacier bay. They have others that are good but freeman is the Rolls Royce
Chase Livingston
Amen
Chase Livingston nothing rides like a freeman. Just did a charter on a 42lr and nothing I’ve been on rides nearly as smooth as a freeman
Super well done video and information. Thank you, watched the whole thing.
Hey, I thought you were an Air Force man. What are you doing around these nautical parts?

Let's call it what it is. It's a worldcat infomercial. No Freeman, No Invincible, no true comparison. INFOMERCIAL!!!!
I would put in a removable door that slots into place between the bowrider and the rest of the boat, so if you stuff the nose you don't swamp the whole boat.
I had a Yamaha 220 on my Grady White for 6 years , the only maintenance being to put gas in ......bulletproof ......
Nicely balanced!
Cannot believe that a freeman is not in this category....
Need to review FREEMAN CATS
Freeman cats anyday, they are the best!!
Cat is my next boat!!
How about Twin Vee and Freeman?
Yeah this is not a comparison, THEY ARE ALL THE SAME BRAND!
Guys I love you show but was missing is you half to tell the people the price of these boats thank you keep the videos coming

The only convenience that a v hull has over a cat is that it has more cabin space.
Cats are so much more stable.
Great! I will do it

Big boy acts like he's an experienced fisherman
Can u use Worldcat 23DC In place of a pontoon? And beach it?
What’s the draft?
I like the idea of a head on it

Solar Fry thank you for the explanation! It is much appreciated 🙂
Excellent question; so glad Solar Fry responded 🙂

If you compare the size of the boat with comparable horsepower, how much faster is a cat hull in cruise?
Would you be able to tow a skier or tuner with the 23 dc
This was great...The 23 looks perfect for our coastal GA waters...One thing they never mention in these reviews is the cost...what the 23 go for...?
Shawn Weed im guessing around 100k ish. Maybe more around 80k. The motors cost $20k.
Called a dealer and 120! Ridiculous.

what about the 280cc-x ??
How much is 35 foot one with two 300 in the back
Look at Jaguar Marine, BEST cats many people don't know about!
Do you feel the wind effects them more than a typical hull, as far as drifting, trolling, etc?
They should’ve titled this video which length world car is good for you. There’s not more than one brand here.
And Freeman?????????????????????????????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Long advertisement
tell me about that dive ladder again?
M W there is a dive ladder? I missed it. Lol
Should of cut out the "Well"s in post.
I'm a convert too!
very good

Calcutta 390 best fishing Cat on the water.

Most cats are wider than an equal length mono.
Both roll uncomfortably. It depends on the wave length which rolls more.
It's a world cat commercial!
