I just bought this model at an eBay auction for 45.5 euros. Now I will wait for arrival. This will be my first Witty Wings/Gemini Aces/Herpa/Jc Wings F-15 model. Also, I really want the Jc Wings F-15D/DJ/E model for my collection...

That - but in different livery - F-15E from JC was one of my first diecast 1/72 models and how was I impressed with it. Those engine nozzles, intakes with turbines, cabin strut, and sharp as knife antenas at the front section (they sit so hard, I almost cut myself with one of these, and they still didn't loose any tiny bit). JC makes some great stuff, and even especially with their newer models, like Su-34 (your review made me buy one and it's a stellar piece of diecast). If you haven't got one yet - I recommend you Su-22 form JC (mold made by Calibre Wings). This one is outstanding, you'll love it. Thanks for another great review!
For me JC has been a little hit and miss, they can have some great releases but are let down sometimes with fitment issues. I think a lot of that has to do with they use a lot of the Witty Wings molds. I was pretty happy this went together well. But there newer releases seem to be improving a lot....and yes a couple of weeks ago I bought a Su-22, they have just been so expensive and difficult to get at times!!! I have been hanging to open the box!!! I am certainly glad you are getting some use from the videos, that makes me happy as that's what they are made for. I want to love my F-15J models. I have two of them, but i just keep them in the box. The front gear does not go in at all. it doesnt fit. Idk if thats a common problem with JC wings eagles, but man its frustrating.
JC Wings fitment can be a little frustrating for sure, although this one for me went together really nice. From what I'm aware they used a lot of the old Witty Wings molds which also had fitment issues. But I am seeing improvement from JC Wings as they start making changes on their releases. But still nowhere up to Hobby Master level as yet but definitely getting better with some newer releases. Thanks again for dropping past and checking out the video 🙂
I bought mine off a hobby shop store that was selling out of eBay for me. But depending on your location there should be a few options around to grab one of these. The interwebz is your best friend when trying to find diecast at a reasonable price 😉🙂

Very nice model. The only thing holding me back from buying a Witty Wings/Gemini Aces/Herpa/Jc Wings F-15 is that its cockpit is irregular in shape. Both in the A/C version and in the D/E version. Unfortunately, the cockpit and its frame are the weak point of all Witty Wings/Gemini Aces/Herpa/Jc Wings models. One way or another, I think the Jc Wings F-15 is second in quality. In first place is the Dragon Wings F-15 and in third is the Hobby Master. But that's my opinion. LIKE from me as always. 👍
I appreciate your opinions 🙂 its what makes the world go round. Is it just the canopy shape your not happy with? Could that be replaced with a more accurate aftermarket one? If you like F-15's you sort of reduce what you can buy. Every collector is different and there wants from a model as well. I am pretty easy going in my views as I have always said, it has to be really, really bad for me to not think its okay,haha. Some can live with a little inaccuracy, some cant and some don't even notice,haha. Its why I do the videos as I have said, so people can judge for themselves. But the Dragon Wings models are always killer efforts. Everything they did from WW2 to modern fighters has been top notch. And again, I always appreciate your comments and the time you spend at the channel. Cheers mate 🙂👍
Very accurate observations. The cockpit windows are faulty, either they do not close completely or the part holding them comes out. This video is also available. The landing gear never fits into place and does not support the model. The wheel pins of the rear landing gear come out and can never be replaced again.I sold all my jc and wittys.I would never buy these models and do not recommend them.
@@tarkanyenikoylu809 yes JC Wings / Witty Wings can be a little hit and miss, with more misses than hits I'm afraid. The landing gear on a lot of their models have fitmemt issues. The newer offerings are a little less stressful and seem to fit ok. One of the Sukhoi models I got off them had drop in landing gear similar to Hobby Master which was great and I think even some magnet option ordnance, I did a video on that one awhile back when I used to record outside 🤣. I'm not a huge fan of the products at times but I will persist as when I do the videos I can at least show people or mention the issues so they can choose whether to buy one for themselves. I do have a newer Su-22 which i think they took over from calibre wings so I'm hoping this will be a great fit out. Hopefully I'll get to that one soon. To be honest I am always worried when opening a JC Wings release. Amazingly I had no fitment issues with mine, maybe my assembly guy at JC wasn't drunk and made sure all my parts fitted for once. The diecast gods did smile upon me for a change. I m also hoping that being a newer release maybe they have upped their game with quality control!!! But guess maybe I was just lucky,haha. Sorry for your pain 😉

I doubt there is any danger with the missiles loaded close to the fuel tanks. Usually the missiles drop away from an aircraft as they fire and then the missiles engine fires up and its on its way to the target. Or alternatively if its on mission it will use the fuel from those external tanks to get to target and then jettison them once empty. Vietnam is fuel of external fuel tanks from F-4 Phantoms from the war, they actually made canoes out of them to use on the rivers,haha
