I recently grabbed this kit on Ebay. I built this kit when I was a kid in the late 70's and I remember it going together rather well, but, now I want to do like you did and give it another shot after getting rid of the raised lines. 😁
Well, I think it's great. I never built the Mystere when I was little, but many others did, and personally it's very nice to come across those same models over the years. They still have a lot to say. Thank you very much for commenting. Regards.
Dear Javier, what can I say - you made my Day 🙂 The Kit is so full of details, a real beauty. This is the best such an old kit can get - out of the hand of a magician. Merry Christmas and more models here on your great channel.
Salutations.
In my opinion it is worth it, although not everyone has the same tastes, I was really very happy with the result, although everything can be improved. Greetings.
Great, I encourage you to do it, if you work on these vintage ones a little, they can become a nice model, good luck with your constructions and thanks for commenting.
Hi, I use a ruler and Dymo tape to help me, you can see it in the last videos. I also have a flexible gel ruler that helps on uneven surfaces. On rare occasions I use the lines of the kit, although they are sometimes useful. It usually gives a worse result because it is easier to go outside the lines. It is essential to sand the model well afterwards and re-engrave if necessary. Thanks for commenting. Regards.

Thank you very much again, I hope so and that next year many more models will come to the channel, my best wishes to you.

What a beauty!! Your Mystère is a wonder. I have a lot of things to say about this build but my english is too poor. 😊

Worth the effort I'd say 👏

Excellent build, I really fancy doing one of these now.

May I ask: when you are etching the panel lines, are you using the old raised lines to guide your scriber? Then sanding off the raised lines?

@@buildmodels8801 And thanks for the explainer. I have a lot of trouble with re-scribing kits and usually ruin them with wandering lines.
