My mum was the spitting image of Mary Berry lost my mum to sudden cancer last year always enjoyed Mary on the bake off but breaks me up now when I see her. Treasure every moment you have
The great thing is, all these great programes are archived, had forgotten bout Mary's receive, all I did was tap in Mary Berry Rosty and "Hey Presto" success 😄
i just tried making a plain potato rosti after seeing this last night … not bad for a first attempt! can’t wait to get the right ingredients for tomorrow’s breakfast 😉
tefal do a good range. I got the jamie oliver tefal casserole pan - it was about £50 but you can use it for everything. Other than that, I have a set of tefal frying pans in various sizes (the ones with high edges are good if you like doing curries etc. I have a set of normal pans from Debenhams which are about 10 years old which i was given for Christmas in my 20s - one of the best presents as they are still going strong. Good luck.
Get up Sunday morning place rib bacon in pan next scrambled eggs garlic onion ms.dash seasoning original flavor or salt and pepper cheddar cheese parsley and cilantro.
blazepoop If you have an aversion to onions, as my sister does, a good substitute would be another sort of vegetable or green leaf that you enjoy. You could use spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers, with a pinch of grated garlic to cook along side it in the pan for extra flavor. Go wild and find a combo that works best for you.
Leeks.deseeded diced tomatoes.bell peppers sliced, mushrooms or a combination of any of them. You can use what you like in other words if it will cook around the same time. For the ‘wetter” veggies like tomato blot them with kitchen paper towels to get rid of some of the moisture otherwise your rusty might take longer to crisp up. All the best. Rab (Chef)
@@Knappa22 no there are 80 year olds that actually take care of themselves and look good. And then there are those who use age as an excuse among their other many excuses.
@@cosmickitty9533 Rubbish. A huge amount of it is also down to genetics. A person could live an absolutely exemplary life and still get wrinkles / saggy skin. It is a perfectly natural and normal feature of the ageing process in many people. Conversely someone like my mother’s sister (who eats an appalling diet and has smoked at least 30 cigarettes a day since she was 14 years old) barely has any wrinkles at age 77. So how do you account for that? Lastly I think it says everything about your shallow and miserable personality that you not only think so superficially but that you also paraded it on the internet. Sad.
I once managed Mary Berry's family private dinner at a 5 star hotel. I found out through my own research for benefit of guest service that it was her birthday. I surprised her with our very own baker's mini birthday cake. Instead of being grateful, she seemed more angry and annoyed that we knew it was her birthday.....
Mary is just the sweetest human being on earth

Mary Berry is a national treasure, pure and simple
Mary Berry reminds me of my grandmother. She'd always love to cook meals with neighbours and our street sometimes smelt amazingly 😊
Mary Berry, the ultimate grandma :)

The rösti is Switzerland's national dish and Mary Berry cooks it brilliantly!

Fantastic video, making it right now! Delectable!
I would love to have a meal cooked by her for me or have a chance to cook with her.
Seasoned (amateur) chefs: Which pans would you recommend to invest in around your mid-twenties to last you a very long time?

Cast iron will last forever if you take care of it, I still use my grandmother's. It does take a little tlc, but well worth it in my opinion :)
MARY BERRY,
THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR WONDERFUL AWESOME RECIPE, THANKS FOR BEING YOU!😄😄😘😘😉😉😍😍
Not sure I like onions enough to prefer rosti over hash browns, but if one does this would be great.
IT TASTE AMAZING!!! Tried and Tested! :)
Que delícia!!! Vou fazer! Parabéns pela receita.
Is this a new Berry series? 😁
I made the rosti and it was delicious - like a big naughty hash brown!
Mary's hair should have its own series
If you added cheese in with the onion bacon potato mix, would it still cook properly?
Nicely done!
I want to adopt her she's so sweet.
Mary is wondefull thank you very much . Welcome dear good night
Looks divine ♥️

She’s fabulous! What’s not to like!

Rösti is so guuuuuuddd
What can I use instead of onions?

Grated turnips!

Roll out the Berry....
Lekker!!!
Yum Mary!
Kinda reminded me of hash browns
Yum!!!
Anyone know a good meat substitute for the bacon?
hshibeeb You should try to find Smoked Lamb belly or you can get lamb belly and smoke it yourself! It's not too hard ;)
hshibeeb Turkey bacon!
If you can eat smoked salmon thinly sliced the Rosti would warm it through place it over the rosti at the end of cooking. All the best. Rab
Weekend breakfast sorted. Add a sausage or two.
Mary Berry eats rosti with her arthritic hands.
What happened to the bacon? was it just for flavour in the pan?
Andrew Wakely It went in with the onion and shredded potato. Not just for flavor!!
I love Mary Berry, but... I hate crispy eggs. There's a saying "bacon should be crispy, eggs soft".
FYI each side needs 5-10 minutes, per the BBC written recipe. When she says “a few minutes on each side” she’s not being accurate!
She's really a darling!
💐😘💖
why don't you get a degree. Even Mary Berry's got a degree
Even Tarquin's got a degree, so why don't you get a degree?
How much bacon do I have to eat before my neck looks like that?
No idea. But when you’re 80 it will look like that, bacon or not.
Welcome to reality.

happy 100th
so...bacon and onion hash browns with some eggs...OK.
Its called Mary Berry everyday not Mary Berry fine cuisine.
Rosti is not merely the sum of its parts.
