I leave a desiccant bag in the car. About 5 quid off Amazon, you microwave it when it’s absorbed as much as it’s going to and stick back in the car. Really effective.

A few minutes before you arrive home, open your windows, it will equalise the air temperature with outside and remove any moisture. I never suffer with condensation doing this.
It just means suffering a few chilly minutes.

Thanks for the advice, I'll give that a go. Mind you, I normally have the hatch open when taking the shopping out of the car, so I'd have thought that would have the same effect, yet I still have serious condensation.

@@rad1sh480 No , just getting the shopping out is not the same. Just imagine cigarette smoke, open the window a little bit and it'll suck right out. That's exactly what you need to do to your warm humid breath that's been building up in the car for however long your journey was. It's amazing how much moisture we breathe out.
Also make sure your pollen or cabin filters are clean. ( If you have them )

After washing my car I put a small amount on a clean cloth and wipe down the outsides of the side windows, IT HELPS keep side windows from becoming difficult to see out of because of, er, 'Sticky rain drops', and helps keep the outsides of the glass and wing mirrors from getting dirty... 👍

But the Mokka, does tend to mist up from the top of the screen and then spreads downwards, even with the fan running. But dead easy to clear. Just hit the front heater switch and like magic, gone. Condensation in cars is caused either because the driver doesn’t understand the controls, or there is an additional source of water coming into the car.
A tip for people is 5 mins before the end of a journey, drive the heat to max, as high as you can stand, then 1 min before they end, open all the windows and let the hot humid air out.
That way next time you get in the car you will get less of an issue.

The best way to dry the interior of a car isn't to run the heater full-on because hot air condenses and creates water on cooler surfaces, the best way is to go for a drive with all four windows down about 2 inches and run the heater at a medium setting, about 22 dgs, this will dry out everything, it is the carpets in your car that cause the most condensation problems if you have thick wool carpets they soak up loads of water from your feet, rubber mats don't create soaks for wet feet,
