Sailing to and Exploring Cartagena Part 1| S2 Episode 42 | Ep 109

We arrive in Cartagena and go off to explore this beautiful city with such a rich history some of which has only just been uncovered. We happen upon a flamenco festival, visit museums, roman ruins, take a walking tour and relax into being tourists again.
We are a family of five with plans for an epic adventure, sailing around the world. We have bought a boat we have to gut it, rebuild it, sell all of our possessions and have t he guts to cast off. Follow our adventures.

I've said this for the last couple of years that I have been a member of several sailing channels that those sailors that have and are raising their children will have the most well rounded future citizens than almost anyone else. They are being home schooled as well as traveling all over the world seeing and meeting different cultures, their language and mannerisms. And because of this, they will be accepted nearly everywhere they travel.

Your acoustic experiment (10:33) was wonderful and amazing! The Romans (and Greeks) certainly understood amphitheaters and acoustic properties. How shameful, knowing the technologies and their understanding, that Western society has forgotten antiquity … all in the name of progress!
It appears that the 21st century has regressed in so many ways, but … YOU sail by the wind, and entertain by your wits and skills.
