Just got this model had the old model same numbers they just added some letters but the first one I had lasted 6 years of hard work a load everday 3 loads à day on the weekend I love mine!!! Just remember 15 lbs and it will last and work great
I have a "new" 2023 model which appears to be like yours except it is "unvented". Although you can put your soap in the dispenser, I was told by an RVer with children that she uses a half-sheet of Earth Breeze directly into the machine on top of the dirty clothes. Another thing we did that should have been done at the time of installation was to put it up on a pedestal so it would clear the bottom rail of the closet and could be serviced. I copied your video and posted it on FB on a Tiny Home Group because there was a discussion about tiny home washers and dryers. I really like this concept. I appreciate you talking about how you clean out the lint. Anyway, thank you.
Thank you so much. We bought a beautiful RV with only 3700 miles on it and the seller was great about including all the manuals...except for the WD. I have only used it once so far but after this I feel confident to try again. 🙏
I was so confused in the beginning even with the crazy manual. There were a few times I wanted to just dry my cloths again and accidentally rewashed them 😂😂 safe and fun travels to you and your family.
@@LizzieW71 I think you can turn the knob to dry and when you turn on the machine push the lower button to dry. Each time you push the dry button you get more drying time.
We have this exact model in our 2021 Class A and I detest it. This machine will only wash and dry small loads so it's less than ideal if you have more than two people needing their laundry done. The instructions that came with it were not clear and it took me quite a while to figure it out. Your video is clear and very helpful, so thank you. Can you do the microwave/convection oven next? I hate that, too. ; p
Thank you so much!!! We sold our rv so I wish I could do a microwave/convection video but that will have to wait until we buy another rv. Happy travels!!
I have a new Furrion Convection oven and it's self-explanatory, or I think it is. I like that each time you push start if you don't set a time beforehand it microwaves 30 seconds. I baked some sugar pecans yesterday, preheated the oven, then when the preheat cycle stopped, added the tray and baked the nuts for 30 minutes. What kind of convection oven do you have?
When your washing clothes how much water is in the drum? Can you do a video on it? Thanks 🙂 i use mine but very little water I’m not sure if it’s working properly
Hello there! We just installed ours last weekend. We sold our stackable and got this exact model. I love the extra space switching from 2 units to 1 gave us, but I'm iffy on it. I started clothes at 10am and here it is 5pm and I just put the 3rd load in. But that's not what I'm iffy about it. I can handle the time. What bothers me is my clothes come out wrinkled with this one and one and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I tried not setting the dryer on auto and taking the clothes out, shaking them out so they're not scrunched up, throwing a dryer sheet in, but that didn't work. I'm not overloading it. Do you have this issue? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I was told that the Splindide could wash 15 lbs. of clothes but could dry only 11 lbs. I take all of the wash out before it's completely dry and hang it on hooked clothespins in my shower on a rod above. Nothing comes out wrinkled but then I'm washing tank tops and sweatpants, white panties and socks. And I'm washing for only one person.
Such a nice and helpful tutorial. I live alone and would thing this would be just fine and also allow for storage that would otherwise be taken up by a stack. Why did you choose a combo? Kindest regards, -keith
Hi Keith, I chose a combo because it was going in my rv and there was only space for a combo and not enough space for a stackable. You are right, it is worth saving the space and this combo works great!
@@rvpathchosen2629 I agree, besides, it's not like we're in such a hurry (speaking for myself.) But yes, I think you made the right choice AND I'm going to follow your lead. Ms. path chosen, may your life be full of sunshine and happiness:-) Again, thanx... -keith
I have a 2023 machine like this that is "ventless" whereas the one in this demo is vented. I bought it because it's just me in the RV and I don't have a lot of heavy clothes to wash. I've washed 8 panties and 2 tank tops plus some socks. I've recently washed some tank tops, socks, and 3 pairs of sweatpants (all had been previously washed elsewhere.) I have a shower curtain rod across the top of my 30X48 RV shower with hooking clothespins (plastic) so hang up everything to finish drying because I'm in S.C. and it's humid here. I remove the clothes before they are dry so they don't wrinkle.
There is a panel on the bottom you have to remove, catch any remaining water, then remove the drain filter and clean that. How long have you had your machine and how often is it used?
I recommend Earth Breeze sheets. 1/2 is enough to do most loads and you can put it in with your clothes if you like. I don't know about soap pods but I would guess it would be twice as much soap as you would need. The units are small.
@@Nonnieof5 That didn't work for me. I just got mine on April 27, 2022, and it's not drying. I checked the small filter on the front bottom (behind that panel and it was clean, went out and stuck my arm all the way to the back of the machine through the dryer vent (was not blocked). Something is blocking it somewhere that I can't get to. Did 2 clean cycles, still not drying. Not happy at all with Splendide. (Had problems with the one that came with the coach and thought a new one would be better - it's not.)
@@freeatlast8282 I've read your issue several times and since I am so far pleased with the washer/dryer all-in-one cycle I haven't tried doing just one or the other, have you? When you say it doesn't dry, have you tried running the wash cycle w/o drying? Then have you tried to just dry a few things? I used to test software processes and that is the reason I ask, because there is a computer in there and it should allow you to wash and dry, wash, dry and if does not dry either way then that part of the circuit board/program does not work. It sounds like you did your due diligence by checking for blockage. It's been a year since you wrote this, what finally fixed it?
I had the same problem. For me I was doing express loads and seemed to not properly dispense the detergent I learned you have to have it on regular wash. Worked for me anyway!
My drain is halfway up the wall and I believe there is a water pump. Before starting the drying cycle it spins like crazy and shakes the RV, which has since been better stabilized. This RV was set up for this kind of unit or a stacking unit, but there is no good way to put in a vent so we didn't.
Hi! I have not tried using any pods. Unfortunately the instructions specifically state not to use them. Since my splendide is new I was reluctant to do anything that might void the warranty.
These are small washers and a Tide pod is for a regular-sized washer. I use half a sheet of Earth Breeze laundry soap and put it directly on top of the clothes when I do a load.

I cant get the temp to change. Whether I wash cottons perm press...whatever, it always uses the cooler dry temp. What am I doing OR not doing?
They don’t want to shrink your cloth, so too hot is not good. The system is blocking the certain settings in this way.
The setting you use determines the temperature. Down at the bottom, there is a setting for temp on the left. You could try to adjust it that way.
