  • This short video explains how to connect the Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA) to the Tigo Access Point (TAP). As per local electrical Codes and Standards, this requires the use of a 600V rated communication cable (RS485 or CAT5/6) if it will be run in the same conduit as the PV array home runs. We provide a solution for this cable!
Tigo Academy contains a short course on installing the Tigo TS4 MLPE and communication equipment. Once registered with the Academy, click the Catalog button in the upper right corner to select your course: timetoknow.pag...

TAPS seem to have a limited low temp rating. TAP could be mounted nearby in a heated space instead, correct?

The TAP as a -22F (-30C) low temperature rating, so if your area could see temps lower than this then it is acceptable to install the TAP in an attic if you do not have a metal roof. The TAP communicates to the TS4 wirelessly and metal roofs will affect the signal strength.
