    Very interesting. Bummer it didn’t cut acrylic, on their website they specifically mention it can cut black acrylic so that might be the problem. It also shows that it has a 2600°C sintering temperature, and the 36w 3000°C… so maybe there’s some possibility of creating a low cost metal 3D printer in the future?

      it for sure will cut plastic. The problem with the acrylic I tried to cut is that I think it was way too clear. You prolly need a CO2 for clear.

      it comes with shaded safety glasses specifically for this wavelength.
