- One of the many features that make the Rimac Concept_One unique and define its essence is the Rimac All Wheel Torque Vectoring System (RAWTV). The Rimac All Wheel Torque Vectoring system uses the maximum traction of each tire and gives the driver the possibility to adjust the driving behaviour exactly to his or her preferences thus giving it superior driving characteristics.

I just watched Mate Rimac's lecture on Startup Addventure's channel. I'm so glad I did. I LOVE this guy! He's brilliant, he seems humble and unassuming, he's a visionary who is excited and passionate about what he's doing, and he's gonna change the world! I'm a car lover, too. My dream has always been to produce a hyper car like his, and I love the story of how he made his dream a reality even when he had to do all the work on his own. Not only did he NOT fail because of adversity, adversity MADE him a success! The big car companies wouldn't lift a finger to help him build his car, so he completely changed the game on them. Now they come to HIM for HIS help building their cars just to keep up with the future and what HE'S doing. If that isn't a truly great underdog story, then I don't know what is! On a completely different level, it's very refreshing and reassuring these days to see people like him using his intelligence and innovations to help the whole world move forward in a positive way. In a time when so many people around the world focus on why they should hate/kill, a peaceful man stands tall. He actually helps out his competition with his own ideas to move the whole automotive world forward. THAT is the mark of a true icon. And he just started back 10 years ago?? He's already beating the best that the greatest automakers and hyper car companies out there have to offer. Unbelievable! Take note, folks. You're watching greatness happen in real time. This man is going to go down in history. I'm just happy to be here to watch it happen! Here's to you from America, Mate! Continued success, sir! You're an inspiration.

I think RimacAutomobili and TeslaMotors should align their intellectual capacity for the greater good of EV evolution.
I believe if this happens all the traditional OEM companies will start looking over their shoulders.

Actually companies like Rimac and Kreisel offer their sophisticated R&D services and earn most of their money by being booked by the old automobile industries, that now need to move forward into this new BEV decade and are actually doing this. I suppose that the NDAs of these companies disallows Rimac and Kreisel to cite their names. Maybe even Tesla is already booking some of their services.

In principle a RIMAC car has similar electronics with gyros, accelerometers (FC) and fast reacting speed controllers (ESC) like the most advanced speed quadcopters of this modern hobby business - it just has some different price tag (;-). "What seperates the men from the boys is the price of their toys".
What is the effect on chassis? It seems that you are focusing purely on reactions from motors to compensate, but it does not look like its affecting shocks etc. I think latest gen of shocks can give you responsivness to mimick my all time favorite active suspension (gotta love those Williams in 90s) as it would contribute to overall performance. Or no?
And finally, 7 years later, the CEO of Lamborghini said “Torque Vectors is the future of high performance” 💀💀💀

+aerozg Ja bi rekao prosjecna. Kad gledas testove (americke) gdje je to nezaobilazno, rijetki imaju brzinu za pohvaliti (npr Mercedes S klasa), a opet je brze nego gesture gluposti kakvu ima BMW i ostali ju isfuravaju.
+Reptilius Maximus pa možda je prosječno dovoljno dobro za Mercedes, ili neke druge proizvođače... ,)
Mozda je lag zbog kontinuiranog dodira. Npr. pinch/zoom kod svih je koma, ali na sam dodir je relativno OK. Daleko od smartphone brzine.

+Petar Dimitrov For that they need few hundred millions $. You need to respect money and amount of effort/experience needed to build mass family car. But what I would try out is Tesla Rimac S where Rimac would soup up motors for higher performance and add vectoring system.
I think Rimac is more of a super car company than a mass market EV company

Only sensing after passing the specific position can not be perfect. Torque vectoring is not yet fully applied nor even developed. But their another project will give the breakthrough but a bit behind of NextEV. You know what the project is.

Rimac should further this concept, by replacing the steering wheel with the two throttle/reversers used by tank drivers, or two pairs of them

Rtx 3090 would eat the whole battery in 3 seconds so the next gen FPS is not possible sadly

insatiable2rossi dude it was clearly a drivers error. He entered a very tight corner at 170 kph. The system did exactly what it was supposed to do the road was just too smal.
