Just so you know, I, a random stranger on the internet, miss your videos. Also sad to see most of them gone from the channel because they were all great.
instantly subscribed!!!! it's nice to know I'm not the only one who feels like a dumb bitch while sewing but then the end result somehow always turns out kinda great which motivates me to start another sewing project and the cycle just repeats
I'm here for it. Please make more! Would love to see some combined stuff. Like I once picked off lace from a scarf and put on a dress, and it turned out so nice. All from second hand!
Yaaaaay!! I've been searching for a good Australian youtuber who does thrift flips. The Americans have it so lucky with their op shops, it's so hard to find a semi decent one here in Aus
I love this! I admit that I clicked on this thinking that it was clothing inspired by the Reformation period.... I’ve been studying for the AP Euro exam too long.
Love this!! Also super easy to follow if you just start out with fabric itself (simply another tutorial is needed for some of them but shirring and sewing is relatively simple in most garments.). As someone who loves thrifting and fixing, I LOVE thisss
Yeah I know haha, it's my first tutorial and I could have explained it a lot better, I think you would have to have some experience to know what I'm talking about. But I am getting better! I'm definitely trying to put more steps in my sewing videos and making myself more clear 😅 and thankyou!
really love this video and the message of sustainability! I would love to see you reworking things bought closer to your own size as it's so difficult for middle/plus size people to find affordable sustainable clothes in op/charity shops esp as lots of depop/internet people buy up bigger sizes just to cut them up 🌺🌿🌍
@@caitlinkleineberg thanks. I'll try my best. I bought a dress at a thrift store before quarantine; and I love it's pattern, but it's too long and square. The puff shoulder top that you made really inspired me.
Hey Caitlin, just found your Channel & I'm really stoked - you are so genuine & unpretentious (not to mention talented) & the best thing of all, you're a "Local Aussie Chick" which is so refreshing! I'm definitely a new fan & I look forward to seeing more of your videos coz I'm learning a lot & I'm 64 years old, lol. You go Girl! 😎
one of the most informative and professionally done thrift flips ive seen! would love to see more of these 🥰 youre also very bubbly and super gorgeous!!
Your haircut looks amazing on you. I love your creations. I adore the print in the first project. Inspired. I don't sew a lot., but willing to alter some things. Thanks for the inspiration.
love this! I just graduated from uni this semester and this inspired me to get a sewing machine as a graduation gift, so I can alter / make my own clothes!
Love this! I've been sewing for a while but have never really tried upcycling anything. Ugh I can't wait for the thrift shops to reopen so I can try it out!!
definitely get in to upcycling! its so sustainable giving new clothes life and its so rewarding too to help save the environment. You can also buy clothes second hand online if you cant wait :)
can so relate to unpicking the same thing multiple times and the project going 10x longer than you expect.. love the animal crossing reference haha the green dress came out soooo nice!!!

when you said it took you an hour to sew those spaghetti straps i really felt that
You are an angel from heaven to have gone through all of that I would have cried about 20 times
I just kind of skip crying and go straight to 'fed up' and I take a break 😂Just keep practicing! I know you will get there
@@caitlinkleineberg ❤️❤️ thank youuuu
oh my goodness. The time and effort that went into each piece is amazing. I am not sure if I would have the patience to do all of that shirring.
It does take a while when you get it right. but when you get it wrong - my patience went right out the window 😂
They're all SO PRETTY
you need a loop turner for the straps - they are not to expensive at spotlight and very handy
THESE ARE INCREDIBLE
Fantastic job! I love how you persevered through the struggles. Everything looks so cute!
I enjoyed that video so much!! So cool. Much love xx
I love your hair it looks so smooth
Your reaction to your top (which is so nice!!!) is So Much how I was when I finished my first self-made pair of pants xD
