    For those that want the workout:
    - Standing Leg Curl: 3x8 4th set is drop set
    - Leg Press: 3x8 4th set is drop set
    - Hack Squat: 3x8
    - Superset: Sissy Squat/Leg Extension 4x8-10
    - Barbell Straight leg Deadlift: 4x8

    I don’t know how many times I’ve rewatched this video, lost count after a couple dozen but the impact John has had on my training is unmatched. His family should be very proud of the legacy he left. He brought being a gentlemen into bodybuilding. Truly a man I want to imitate. God bless Him and his family. Rest In Peace John, you are missed by many people who never even had the pleasure of meeting you in person.

    I do a decent leg workout every week, but did one of John’s leg workouts from one of his other videos... wow, just wow. 2 days on and I can’t even touch my quads, let alone walk properly... Thanks mate, you’ve definitely upped my game 🤙🏻

    I did your ode to Tom Plats leg moves incorpating the pauses and partials on hamstrings Monday. My legs woke up. I feel my arms have grown at least an inch from just what you said do. Mountain Dog you're the truth brother thanks from Detroit.

    This video has really inspired me and my boyfriend. We constantly watch your videos for techniques and new training . You are so humble , work hard , and help/inspire/ motivate others which has helped us as well. Personally I love leg workouts , and we are trying to build stronger better legs. The leg extensions and hamstring curls are killer.

    I'm a 60 yr. old intermediate lifter. Twice a week I do a few sets of: Squats, Deadlifts, Leg Presses, Leg Extensions, Leg Curls, Calves. Do you think I'm doing too much? Is there overlap? What would be a sensible well rounded lower body workout to build muscle without overtaxing my body? Love your videos! Thanks so much

      If you have a squat rack thats more than enough, with some leg extensions and leg curls, and most important, guts.

    The variety of leg machines and stations you used was awesome! I'd like to try this workout next fall when it's time for the bulk. I've unexpectedly gained about 9lbs of lean mass in a month of training with a smith machine, free weights, calisthenics, and cardio. I was trying to lean out.... dammit

      I would give it 3-4 days rest in between

      Twice, or every other day; like Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday; church or masjid on Sunday &Saturday

    John, i was having trouble with growing my legs. I went with something new. I broke my leg workouts into 2. I would do 1 workout all quads and 1 all hamstrings. I've noticed an increase in size. How long should I keep this up before going back to full leg workouts?

    I Just got back from training legs. Started it off with potentiating pyramid sets of 8 reps on barbell back squat, followed by potentiating pyramid sets of 6 on conventional deadlifts. Performed 6-20 rep amraps after each failure set. Then proceeded to throw in a ton of metabolite accumulation work. :D
    This session was awesome, tension looked top notch on every rep.

    John I always chuckle when I'm at the gym to see so many young men with hulk like upper bodies and what I call 'chicken legs'. 🤣 Thanks for this video. I too am working on getting the definition I have in my arms to match my legs.

      Francesca Olson yea, is funny how these hulk gym buff boys seem to think it looks ok to have big upper bodies and those "chicken legs!" At least stop wearing the shorts so we cant see those legs! Am 53 myself and never miss a LEG DAY!

    You should go to Ford's Gym in Lexington KY. Same standing leg curl. Old school equipment. Anything you need, they have it.
