The variety of leg machines and stations you used was awesome! I'd like to try this workout next fall when it's time for the bulk. I've unexpectedly gained about 9lbs of lean mass in a month of training with a smith machine, free weights, calisthenics, and cardio. I was trying to lean out.... dammit
John, i was having trouble with growing my legs. I went with something new. I broke my leg workouts into 2. I would do 1 workout all quads and 1 all hamstrings. I've noticed an increase in size. How long should I keep this up before going back to full leg workouts?
I Just got back from training legs. Started it off with potentiating pyramid sets of 8 reps on barbell back squat, followed by potentiating pyramid sets of 6 on conventional deadlifts. Performed 6-20 rep amraps after each failure set. Then proceeded to throw in a ton of metabolite accumulation work. :D This session was awesome, tension looked top notch on every rep.
John I always chuckle when I'm at the gym to see so many young men with hulk like upper bodies and what I call 'chicken legs'. 🤣 Thanks for this video. I too am working on getting the definition I have in my arms to match my legs.
Francesca Olson yea, is funny how these hulk gym buff boys seem to think it looks ok to have big upper bodies and those "chicken legs!" At least stop wearing the shorts so we cant see those legs! Am 53 myself and never miss a LEG DAY!
