Mrs Meadows if you are reading this, I wanted to let you know that our thoughts are with you and your family, and that John continues to inspire me on a daily basis❤
This man was such a pleasure to watch and to learn from. I am sad that he passed, but his videos continue. He was not full of himself, he was sincere and candid and honest, and was to a great extent, humble. His videos were made on a one-to-one: just you and him. He was not projecting his information to an audience. His videos were intimate, just to one person at a time, though thousands watched him.
I’ve run several of John’s programs after making the jump from PL… they always look relatively “easy” on paper but holy smokes.. the stimulus to fatigue ratio is also superb. See you beyond the pearly gates Mr. Meadows!
This comment section says so much about the strength community. RIP Mountaindog. We miss you, & are still learning from you. If his family sees this, THANK YOU for continuing to so generously share his wisdom.
Amazing leg workout struggled to walk after John is an absolute inspiration amazing teacher explains everything very sadly missed so glad the powers that be have continued his amazing legacy
Had a bad ear infection a while back and never fully regained my balance so squats are very hard if not impossible for me. This video is a godsend and I will be trying out the routine tonight!
For anyone else who struggles with chronic knee pain like I have, I recommend finding a leg extension machine that you can adjust to where your knee starts at an obtuse angle (>90 degree bend)
I forgot that Meadow is gone and I just thought about email him today for a leg workout plan.. jeeesss. It's like he was never gone..watching those videos. Like I forgot he s gone for a moment.
John doing basically a HIT workout. Note how he instantly adjusts volume as well as regeneration time after training just the same way it is being done in HIT. He still amazes me to this day. RIP John.
I moved to front squats a few years ago. After three years , finally got comfortable. I’m up to about half of my rear squats. Maximizes tension on quads as opposed to back, hip flexors and hams. Increases your mobility. Stay in the pockets too
I do feel he made this video for myself and others who had back surgeries and have herniated discs, issues. He cared about people and I’m so thankful for his videos and advice he gave me on Instagram. I am now shredded, and my shoulders and back grew nicely from his teachings. I am now debating HRT since I’m 42 just to help bring me some quality of life back. Because being really lean and natural kind of sucks at 42 years old lol Thank you John for everything!!❤❤❤
Mate , I’m having disc problems at 16 it’s not looking good for me at all. I’ll suspect herniations but honestly I don’t know. So I’m very fearful of deadlifts and even squats.
if you cant get to a gym or dont want to go but want to maintain do sissy squats, i do 2 sets of 15 reps my legs stay alive for when or if i return to the gym
Whoever is running this channel is a legend.

I did this work out recently and included two sets on the leg press. My legs hurt for 5 days 😂. Such a game changer if you want to mix things up.
Love you John meadows. Thanks for the legacy and content you left behind.

Stay in the range just before it hurts for 10-60 seconds isometrically and work your way back to full range pain free over time
Great wisdom and passion, thank you for everything.
Right before I’m going to go hit legs. LETS GOO 💪🏽

Perfect timing! Today is my secondary leg day!
Whats that?
@@himjyotigoswami3027 my second leg day of the week ….it’s called a pump day…I have a heavy day…then a pump day…
This is great. Squats and DL get boring after awhile and can cause back issues.
Love you mountain dog always & forever!! 💔

Thanks buddy
All these videos of John coming out makes me think for a second he never really left us 😢
Much love, buddy ❤
The fitness internet's great dad ❤
All you gotta do is spam curls and extensions, especially if you’ve already built a solid foundation for your legs
And you'll have no glutes and you'll look like a fool
Trap bar deadlift is fuckin amazing…favorite workout.
dang i miss this guy!!!
This is called rest-pause and it is toughhhhhh. Great high intensity technique for hypertrophy
Anyone have thoughts on replacing the lunges with Bulgarian split squats? Kind of a lack of walking room at my gym.
Unless it’s just the angle they’re filming at, I am WINCING watching his legs hyperextend on that pendulum press!
So sad he died he was doing everything to be healthy and just goes in his sleep 💔
M
I love John but juicing hard is not healthy
Tom Platz “No” 😂

It's ok....keep rotating them videos, it's more than welcome

Rest in peace ❤
Could I do this for every muscle group?
I thought after he said don't fear. He was going to say John is here.

Rip boss
Your knees on that pendulum squat look like they are going to fold back😮
rip
I'm not sure if it's any good, I find T-posing holds the bar well enough. I can't do close grips
