Friendly reminder that the gameplayTime/narrativeTime conversion in Skyrim is 1h and 12m per day. So the dragonborn escaped from the execution, met the greys, tricked the thalmor, reformed the blades, got the Elder Scroll, stopped the civil war and fought Alduin in like 3 days.

@@Leto85 When you go to Blackreach a little further from the entrance there's an ancient Dwemer warehouse overlooking the whole of Blackreach, if you go inside you'll find a skeleton with a diary that will trigger a mission to complete that guys work and that is to collect all 23 rare red nirn roots scattered trough blackreach, the catch is that there is no map and no place markers and if I remember correctly you cannot come back there, so you can see how that mission can be BS

The reason the blades have Asian/ Japanese style armor is because they are of Akaviri in origin. Descending from the Akaviri Dragonguard who swore allegiance to Emperor Reman Cyrodiil. The Akaviri are from another continent across the sea from Tamriel and are Asian in culture and style in TES.

Although primarily Japanese, there are other Asian elements, thus the inclusion of that adjective. I sincerely hope you don't believe all Asian cultures to be the same. It's not the best quest tbh. I'll typically do it up until I learn Whirlwind or all of Unrelenting Force and then the Greybeards AND The Blades can go do find a new Dragonborn, I'm out
That whole mandatory dwarven ruin exploration and the subsequent black reach excursion is honestly the worst part of the main quest (in my opinion) to the point where I’ve done entire side quest lines to avoid doing it.

I wanna see a speedrun of Oblivion and hearing the anxiety set in while in the planes of oblivion and not being 100% sure which way you were supposed to go😂 thats atleast how i remember them. Every place being dark and not being sure which tower you’re supposed to climb.
skyrim's atmosphere just hits different. also the interior graphics, shadows and lighting always look so cozy and not at all outdated. the outside of skyrim on the other hand can look like it came out in 2004 at times :D

I've been just chilling for 2 hours 13 mins listening instead of sleeping because I'm invested lmao Also I love how the stuff you didn't realize in your first playthrough and in this one were the same things that I didn't figure out as well
really appreciated the blood sacrifice monologue, i've had cuts on the palms of my hand that i wished so bad were on my shins or outer upper arms instead, that way it doesn't hurt and/or open back up every time i make any hand movement. some shows did nail it, like in further seasons of supernatural where they cut just under their shoulders (that was a shifter test, you only need to cut skin with a silver knife to have an effect, if they need a bit of blood they use their inner forearm which still makes much more sense than your palm)
I love this channel. ASMR and video gaming are a genius combo. It seems like you genuinely love Skyrim too so seeing you play it is better than watching any old person play it.
what could improve the run : bump into characters in dialogue so they skip sentences and let others speak, repeat bumping into people. sometimes an hour skip can speed up them approaching, not always but its worth a try. high elves are slightly faster. also sometimes archery plays out safer with dragons. their bite kill finisher is very scary and can happen when youre low at health like a kill cam from an enemy or you. thats why archery and a follower like a melee such as lydia are helpful or a mage that tanks well with a melee follower.
Speed running is my number one favourite hobby. I’m not good and don’t have time for it anymore (I did sms) but man I’m so glad you’ve done an asmr speed run video 😭 love this

Atomic Megalodon that’s because it’s not the empire that want talos worship to be illegal it’s the aldmeri dominion, so the empire doesn’t really enforce it even though they should because they agreed to when they lost the war against the aldmeri. Fun fact the empire are planning to betray the aldmeri dominion and backstab then, but they can’t because they’re too busy fighting Ulfric, basically Ulfric is a massive idiot.

Don't know if you will ever look back at this but the category you ran is called glitchless and the world record is 1 hr 14 mins 7 seconds. This is quite good for a first attempt especially considering this is usually played on the easiest difficulty from the start. Edit:Also livesplit is used for timing and run verification if you ever decide to run again.

also sometimes archery plays out safer with dragons. their bite kill finisher is very scary and can happen when youre low at health like a kill cam from an enemy or you. thats why archery and a follower like a melee such as lydia are helpful or a mage that tanks well with a melee follower.

Atomic Megalodon that’s because it’s not the empire that want talos worship to be illegal it’s the aldmeri dominion, so the empire doesn’t really enforce it even though they should because they agreed to when they lost the war against the aldmeri. Fun fact the empire are planning to betray the aldmeri dominion and backstab then, but they can’t because they’re too busy fighting Ulfric, basically Ulfric is a massive idiot.

Don't know if you will ever look back at this but the category you ran is called glitchless and the world record is 1 hr 14 mins 7 seconds. This is quite good for a first attempt especially considering this is usually played on the easiest difficulty from the start.
Edit:Also livesplit is used for timing and run verification if you ever decide to run again.
