I love how that Road Runner turned out. It's funny how Dodge, Chrysler, & Plymouth were all into dark metallic colors in the 60's, but when the 70's hit, they went to these bold bright colors. I remember having to do paint runs & all these colors had great names - Hooker blue, Hooker green, & Hugger orange to name a few. Getting to catch up on a lot of your videos today. Recuperating from an accident. Tie rod broke & sent me off the road head-on into an 18" thick reinforced concrete retaining wall at about 45 MPH. I'm sure I looked like one of those crash test dummies. Totaled the car & blew out the airbags, but I walked away without a scratch. Didn't even knock a chip outta that wall. I'm paying for it today. Lungs are all choked up from the airbag discharge & I feel like every square inch of my body has been beat with a baseball bat. But hey, I'm on this side of the dirt & thankful to be so. Have a great day & enjoy life.
Old school american muscle! Looks much better than slammed with 22s. Sadly you dont see many old school ones no more, almost every car and truck is all ruined with as i said slammed with big rims. I love how u made her man! Id love to see more done like that!
Tip using sharpies, if you use the chrome before the red on the tail lights or marker lights it turns out much more realistic then most paint pens. Only issue I've had with the sharpie is that it will run when using clear over it. Car looks great, was a good color choice for the cars. Loved the look.
As someone that ran the strip in my '64 Malibu SS Chevelle, I can't remember ever having that much tread on my tires... Then again, maybe Mopar didn't burn their rubber as well :-) Thanks for sharing your work, looking good
I've been into Hot Wheels since the late 70's,overhauling has been my thing so finding yours channel and diecast Resurrection has inspired me pick it back up.......
Dig that '70's outro music! I had flashes of polyester leisure suits and 'Keep On Truckin' t shirts. And that green is fantastic! Keep up the solid work sir.
So came acrossee your channel and I really enjoy watching them specially on my lunch time lol....keep them coming man I just started collecting and getting into customizing myself so like watching videos and learning
Much better wheels! Love the Road Runner. The Mopar color this would be closest to is Sassy Grass Green, also used on the '68 Road Runner, Superbee and '71 'Cuda
Great Job! As we get older I've found that a little more light and one of those head worn magnifiers does wonders for fine/detailed work. I have a few watches and replace the batteries and a little additional light seems to help immensely. Enjoying the content - keep up the great work!
The car looks great! The black hood would have been perfect or maybe some Super Bee stipes around the tail end. Keep up the good work, I really enjoy the watching the process.
Yep,,,reminds me of the good old days,,,,only ever had one American car a 1970 Pontiac GTO Ram Air,,,when they were affordable Thanx for a great vid,,,
Nice. The 70 Roadrunner was my dream car but I made due with a broken down 70 Barracuda. You have probably figured it out by now but for vision Jewelers Glasses got me back into modeling and the 164 diecast. "Magnifier Head Strap With Lights" I removed the lights to reduce the weight. Just got another pair at Harbor Freight for under $8. Better be good Eddie is watching you.
Great job, reminds me of my teenage years. Ever thought about doing details on the interior such as a different steering wheel, shifter... Just wondering. Please keep up the great work.
The third coat had me running for my Ray bans. What lovely colour. I drop my plastic models and do over one of these every now and then. I come up with 2nd hand store treasures to work with. I want to know more about that paint.
My first car was a 70 Satellite with a 318 that I payed 400 bucks for. Did the exact same thing you did to this car. Mickey Thompson 50s on back with air shocks,70s up front and cherry bomb mufflers for a little rumble. I’d cut off my left pinky with a dull rusty butter knife to have that car back.
Love the color, the black hood would have been nice to break up the solid color or some stripes. Great car either way, I see Eddie in the background I'm sure he would approve.
First time viewer here. Beyond the visuals, I think we were looking for more contact with the road. Races weren't being won sitting there and burning rubber ;) Disco? Disco!? lol, that Roadrunner screams Smoke on the Water. Or, Trower's Bridge of Sighs on a 8-track. The green looks great. I use a 6" magnifier light ring for miniatures. Thinking I would need one for the diecast as well.
I thought it was a good video I like it and I like the car that's a perfect color for a Mopar you're the first person I've seen that used wheels from a different brand and I'm happy to see that because I've been doing it for quite a while I think I might have said this in the comment section to another video of yours I don't remember but I often go to the flea market and pick up older loose Jada cars which almost always have killer wheels and I use those on cars I modify or resurrect or whatever you want to say so you might want to give that a shot if you see any I can usually get them for two bucks each which is nothing when you compare the price of custom wheels on eBay anyway thanks for the video I enjoyed it
I don't normally go for green cars but this one was nice, also I'd love to see you recreate a scene from fast and furious with muscle cars that would be awesome
Their expensive but they are also game changers therefore with it but the molotow liquid chrome paint markers are where it's at!!!I have the 1mm extra fine and the 2mm markers and they do anything I could ever need a chrome marker for Edit: great video I liked and subbed for more great videos
That's a great job. I just got to your channel from one of the other car restorers I call Ace (Redline Restorations) , as he sounds like Ace Ventura. I understand you're gonna do a paint off competition with him with the chrome effect paint ? 😕😊
Really Digging this roadrunner. Just found your channel. I see you got a modern King kuda sitting there. I just turned one into a redline earlier on my channel
I love the look of that car, looks stunning, why didn’t you mask it off after you added your clear to the body, do a little wet sand on the hood and give it the flat black? I think that would have really made it look more wonderful. Great work, friend!
I've always hated how far in the rear wheels go in on this Plymouth, all muscle cars should be jacked up at the back with fat tires at the rear and skinny little ones at the front.
I hate revisiting ones I have done lol. By the time I'm done I dont want to touch them again. But you are right, and I should do a video on all the extras I want to do to ones completed
Sublime is one of the best muscle car colors ever!!
Great build!! Gabriel Highjackers, L-60's, or M-50's, with deep dish Crager , or Keystone Classic rims!! Remember those days fondly!!!

The Roadrunner is such a favorite casting. I also have a couple M2 Machines Roadrunners.
Stunning.

Hell yea brother!
Excellent Work on the Mopar. Love those Rear Meats. KUTGW
Looks awesome brother to paint the stance definitely has that 70s vibe

Looks awesome buddy love the stance of the wheels and tires thanks for sharing buddy 👍👍
the final out come came out awesome, that's all that matters ,
True!
That Roadrunner is so bad ass. By the way, love your Iron Maiden albums in the background. 🤘
Oh man, I so remember and miss those days. I really do dig and really want those tires and wheels! :)
Very nice, I love that casting
That car and look took me back, great paint for the Mopar!!!
Like Iron Maiden poster thanks for this work
With the primer and black hood mixed with the 70’s style raked look was spot on with the roadkill crop duster 😂
Tip using sharpies, if you use the chrome before the red on the tail lights or marker lights it turns out much more realistic then most paint pens. Only issue I've had with the sharpie is that it will run when using clear over it.

Love the color and the stance of the car awesome job👍
Thanks!!
Beautiful!
Cool build! Aaand love the Iron maiden Killers album art in the background. Well played. Pun intended.
Another amazing job!
I've been into Hot Wheels since the late 70's,overhauling has been my thing so finding yours channel and diecast Resurrection has inspired me pick it back up.......
Awesome! Its agreat hobby and everyone in it are good people!
this is my favorite car i love it
Very cool! Thanks for sharing your work. 🙂
Dig that '70's outro music! I had flashes of polyester leisure suits and 'Keep On Truckin' t shirts. And that green is fantastic! Keep up the solid work sir.
Nice job, love the colour
Awesome job !!
I'm staring at that lambo all the time. Anyway great great video

Much better wheels! Love the Road Runner. The Mopar color this would be closest to is Sassy Grass Green, also used on the '68 Road Runner, Superbee and '71 'Cuda
Love the car color and the outcome
Reminds me of cruising on Friday nights!

Very nice
Real muscle look there that is one of my favorite cars you have done
Nice build and paint job 👌
Great job love the color in the car
I just subbed. Diecast resurection refered me. Im a die cast addict so your channel is my kind of fun!
Awesome!
Great job looks great
The car looks great! The black hood would have been perfect or maybe some Super Bee stipes around the tail end. Keep up the good work, I really enjoy the watching the process.
Great paint job. Love the Mopars. Awesome detail work.
Great Job!!!!!
Up the IRON'S my friend 🤘
Always paint the car your final color and clear then do your flat black. Just a suggestion. Keep the vids coming. Nice work.
Yep,,,reminds me of the good old days,,,,only ever had one American car a 1970 Pontiac GTO Ram Air,,,when they were affordable Thanx for a great vid,,,
Great job brother!
It looks really nice
Luv that car nice job 👍

looks great!
Man this car would look really great with the rear tires tucked up make a prostreet car great work like always stay Corona fear and stay safe
dude the is a sweet and badass 1970 roadrunner groovy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is so cool!
With rattle can paint ,clear etc.,etc set the can in hot tap water for at least 20 minutes. Usually the paint will flow smoother. From Kentucky.
Nice
Nice.. but needs "Yosemite Sam" or "Chrome girl" mudflaps.
perfect. I'm a beginner so learning lots
Great job, reminds me of my teenage years. Ever thought about doing details on the interior such as a different steering wheel, shifter... Just wondering. Please keep up the great work.
Interiors are on my list to perfect. I shake alot lol
The third coat had me running for my Ray bans. What lovely colour. I drop my plastic models and do over one of these every now and then. I come up with 2nd hand store treasures to work with. I want to know more about that paint.
oh man i thought i was the only one who used sharpies, mainly for minor detail work on my 1:18's, defiantly subbing to your channel for sure!
Thanks, appreciate it!
I want to jack up the rear of my 2013 Mustang GT and to put really wide tyres on some deep dish rims.
Carbon fiber tampos? If that's not a thing it should be. My challenge to all of you geniuses out there.
It is a thing. I have seen the import guys use them on wide body projects
My first car was a 70 Satellite with a 318 that I payed 400 bucks for. Did the exact same thing you did to this car. Mickey Thompson 50s on back with air shocks,70s up front and cherry bomb mufflers for a little rumble. I’d cut off my left pinky with a dull rusty butter knife to have that car back.
true old school muscle stance
Looks great. Not a fan of lime green but still looks great.
When you use the masking tape try putting it on some Glass 1st that should take some of the Glue Off so maybe it Won't pull your paint with it
I've never subscribed to a channel that fast! Good stuff
Thanks, glad to have you on board!
Chulisimo, como todos los que haces
Awesome
Love the color, the black hood would have been nice to break up the solid color or some stripes. Great car either way, I see Eddie in the background I'm sure he would approve.
Up The Irons!!

I used m2 wheels all the time
SUBBED!! Really well done man I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your videos
Great looking seventies car my friend, love the green finish 👍👍
Thanks! I wish I could have done some custom panel painting lol
@@OutlawSpeedShop2001 you can always go back and rework your models anytime 👍👍
Sweet !
Who thinks this looks like Todd's car from beavis and butt head?!??! All it needs is the janky flames and a spoiler.
Your channel was recommended by Diecast resurrection. Car came out great.
Nah, you should'a used a Dodge Coronet Superbee instead, LOL! A little joke for the car guys and gals. 😄 It looks great, I'm lovin' those wheels.
We all built cars like that!
You've got my sub for skipping the drill and tap plus the fact that I love 70s muscle, and don't give to shits about uptight "restorations".
Looks good. I think the white interior would have looked better.
I don't normally go for green cars but this one was nice, also I'd love to see you recreate a scene from fast and furious with muscle cars that would be awesome
Their expensive but they are also game changers therefore with it but the molotow liquid chrome paint markers are where it's at!!!I have the 1mm extra fine and the 2mm markers and they do anything I could ever need a chrome marker for
Edit: great video I liked and subbed for more great videos
That came out nice, although you could have just did the tire swap because the original color was nice too. All in all a great job as always.
That's a great job. I just got to your channel from one of the other car restorers I call Ace (Redline Restorations) , as he sounds like Ace Ventura. I understand you're gonna do a paint off competition with him with the chrome effect paint ? 😕😊
Thanks! Yeah, we are doing a car with candy paint
I had it right the first time Dicast Ressurections..... there's so many of you guys out there . 😁
@@revzillo lol
That's hiw I remember old school muscle
Really Digging this roadrunner. Just found your channel. I see you got a modern King kuda sitting there. I just turned one into a redline earlier on my channel
Use some cheap but aggressive sandpaper and rub off/down the clear coat on the stock paint before stripping it
I love the look of that car, looks stunning, why didn’t you mask it off after you added your clear to the body, do a little wet sand on the hood and give it the flat black? I think that would have really made it look more wonderful. Great work, friend!
Mopar love
I've always hated how far in the rear wheels go in on this Plymouth, all muscle cars should be jacked up at the back with fat tires at the rear and skinny little ones at the front.
Why not mask the body and paint the hood black now?
I hate revisiting ones I have done lol. By the time I'm done I dont want to touch them again. But you are right, and I should do a video on all the extras I want to do to ones completed
