Hi @ 9.52 you plug in an RGB controller to a sata power connector. Can I just plug the fan rgb directly onto my mobo ARGB (without the controller as I dont have one)? Brilliant vid btw

Strange question, do I have to use the argb 3pin coming from the part that sits on the cpu? Or can I just use the fans. Just curious because the cable comes out so it seems optional?
If you don't want rgb then it's not necessary to connect
My case has rgb fans not argb, if I connect these fans to the hub, will it still work?

Fun Fact for V1 users when you do a warranty claim for yours if it has a problem you get V2 as replacement. here's to hoping V2 it the trick now and lasts a long time

There is no problem it's depend on case 90%case support top 240 radiator and you can install easily

There are some options but the best is the razer chroma addressable RGB controller which has about ( 10 ) 3 pin addressable RGB headers and let you control each led independently through razer synapse regardless the type of the motherboard or if it has rgb headers of any type or not.

We just installed this in my sons pc, we went on the bios and it was reading 92 degrees celsius is that still normal?? we bought some much better quality thermal paste than the factory one (Corsair XTM50) and applied it but i just thought it would be less than 92 degrees celsius, everything else was 20-30 degrees celsius.

92 is high temperature i am sure that you made some mistake during installation reinstall it again and make sure remove plastic from aio pump hope it will work

Please reply to my comment at least 2-5 months from now if you can regarding the temps of your cpu. I had the original 240r and i don't know what happened to it, but it stopped cooling my cpu and caused it to throttle with 99c temp. (i9 10850k) im still waiting for warranty to come in. Other reviews also said their AIO failed within 5-6 months like mine did. I hope the V2 that msi might give me back via warranty will hold as well.

Bruh same thing happened to me. I received my V2 but is it new or used(did they just fix it)? Because the serial number is the same as the previous one.
@💟Taytay💟 the serial for mine is different. it worked kept my Temps at 35c and 68c full load but I was afraid it's gonna die and bought a thermalright air cooler instead. I don't wanna deal with rma again
I just RMAed mine today, this cooler is really really bad its prone to sediment build up after prolonged use because of the aluminum and cooper mix metal plus the coolant that they use I suggest you RMA yours and sell it instead and get a better one, mine has failed twice already I really regret buying this shitty AIO

is it normal for the fan radiator to make a noise like its a hard drive booting up high pitch whine? I have 3 of them within the last 2 weeks doing this
Change radiator fan connector sys-fan to aio_pum. If still same from bios change fan settings silent mode

If it's a v1 it's gonna fail. They seem to have a extremely high fail rate. Keep an eye on temps, and get in contact with msi, I get around 70-75 in bios... my aio is dead

And he completely screwed the installation up. You can not put this aio up the top of the case because it has the pump in the radiator. A customer of mine has had his version of this cooler blow up because of this alignment. If you use this AIO you must front mount it if you want cool temperatures and for it to last longer then 6 months.
