i bought this 2 weeks ago and im beyond satisfied, im using it to run a PBO enabled Ryzen 7 5700x and it sits around 65c while gaming. its a really good cheap aio that looks amazing
I've just bought this for my new msi build im doing, But in black. I am really pleased to hear your review and as I mainly play The Witcher III which is CPU intensive this was a good call. I'm just waiting for the parts to come now as I am still currently using my old build which is struggling with wither III in even low graphics, But I have had this build for 7 years now so it's done well with a i5 6500K CPU, Geforce 1650 GPU, 450W PSU and a Asus H170 Pro gaming MB. I'm changing to am all msi build bar the ram and SSDs which will be out of my old build so a 500GB and 120GB Samsung SSDs and x2 8GB HyperX Fury 3700 Ram, but the rest will be MSI with the MSI MPG Sekira 100R mid tower ARGB case, this cooler on this video, msi b550 MB, Radeon RX 480 GPU and a msi MAG 850W PSU
I had to mount mine on the top of my case because it won't fit on the front. Is mounting it on the top of the case going to shorten the lifespan of the cooler?
So I have an MSI Iinfinity with a Sekira 500X case, there's NOWHERE on the sides to put this thing, is it okay if it's above where the 240R V1 that came with this thing was? Mine was sadly defective so I'm sending it for recall but most likely gonna be getting this thing in return.
@@Techfluencer And sadly my prebuild came with a case that doesn't exactly allow for such. Unless I somehow remove my cases entire front and its glass. Damn thing is stupidly made.
Temps are good, but Aio is almost unbearable because of its noise level. It's loud even in idle. I made custom curves but the difference was low. Beside of that, one of the fan's bearing started crackling after 10 months of usage. I need to get rid of these poor fans and replace them with noctua. I hope that will perform better.
Well I got this and installed it and im having a problem getting the cpu block to light up? I got the fans working and lighting up but not the rotating cpu block ? But everything is plugged in..any ideas what im doing wrong?
I am planning to buy MSI MAG Core Liquid 240R RGB V2 CPU Cooler for my pc build but I don't know if it'll work on my Asus rog motherboard, will the armory crate recognize it? and sync with it?
That's not a pump on the radiator at all. The manual states that it is a pump, but that has to be a "Chinese Screw Up" (Nothing unusual about that either, lol) Seriouslythough, how could anyone with even the slightest bit of tech savvy not see it for what it is? It's just a flat plate, which doesn't have any coolant lines connected to it anywhere, and which has only been attached to the "outside" of the radiator. There's a 3 wire flat ribbon cable coming from it, that's all! I would suggest that this is in fact a temperature sensor plate. The pump itself is buried within the head unit on top of the CPU! You know, the bit 2ith the two coolant hoses coming out of it, that head over to the radiator! It's not that hard to figure outthat if people think that plate is the pump, and only plug that and the fans in, it's gonna overheat the CPU realfast, coz there isn't adequate circulation without the "REAL" pump being connected. Just a very slight caused by the temperature differential between the hot and cold side of the Cooling Block, and that's not gonna cool Jack Shit!
I have a 5700x3d and this thing goes to 80c while playing starfield and this is with Pbo -30 and when its at 80c the fans are so loud like whats going on? im tryin to keep it because it does look cool but those fans

You can return it to the retailer/reseller for an RMA. They'll give you an MSI MAG Coreliquid 240r "V2." Basically a newer version where they fixed all the problems from the last one
Hey I really want to buy this cooler but I have one problem if I screw the Radiator on the front with 2 pulling in take Fans then I need to place my 2 fans in the front to above so I have 2 intake and 3 outtake fans. But If I screw it on top idk if i should make the Fans in or output if I do them output I have 2 in and 3 output fans if I have it input I have 2 input in front and 2 above so 4 input and 1 output 😭😭😭
I saw that too. Losing GPU performance not having it in the top PCIe x16 slot and front fans backwards so all fans in the case are exhausting. Literally no air intake in the system.
