Hello, I am also very fortunate to have a designated sewing room. We are both retired and currently packing up to make a sea change move here in Victoria. I will also have my own sewing area. Like you I am always sewing something, I’m not sure how I will go not sewing for a time whilst moving. Sewing is my love and therapy. I am excited with our move, I think my room will be one of the first rooms I sort out! All the best. 😊🏡

@@susanstaley6408 Hi Susan, that’s great you will have a designated sewing room in your new home, I don’t know how people cope if they have previously had a sewing room and then have the dining room table. Sounds like your moving near the beach, I had few weeks in limbo with no sewing, it was difficult even with the packing to do, I did leave the sewing room until almost last but it was still torture. Hope you have a wonderful easy move, Deb 🪡🧵💕

Hi Deb, well done you for getting your sewing room sorted out so quickly. You must be feeling so relieved that the whole moving task is completed; at least you can now unwind a bit as the jobs get done to your own pace rather than the deadlines set by others.
Good to hear that you are managing to find new interest groups too. Thanks for taking the time to film this video and warmest wishes for health and happiness in your new home 😊 xx

It sounds like you are settling in well Deb. I'm really glad you managed to find somewhere where you could designate a room to sewing. I have to renovate our single care garage to get my own room again - It's taking its sweet time! I can't wait to see and hear more of your new home adventures. I hope you get the opportunity to sew this week though. I have projects unfinished from March before I had my hip replacement. I've been a little busy as I went back to work as soon as I could! This weekend though I have to try and construct a Harley Quinn costume for my daughter's book week costume and make some work pants as black tends to fad quickly the more you wash it. I HAD planned to make my Auburn blazer to wear to a school based event on Thursday but I don't think it'll be finished in time.

@@justsewit_tk5477 Hi Tamara, I am lucky to have a sewing room, I think you get much more sewing done when you don’t have to pack up, I hope you can get your garage converted soon. How is your hip replacement going, I had my hip replaced in 2011 and have never looked back, it made such a difference, I hope yours is great also. Good luck with the costume, I helped my daughter (well I really did if for her) make a Ninja mask for my grandson for book week, it worked out well. Good luck with your jacket, you never know you may get it finished. My husband has had to do a few emergency house alterations already, the kitchen tap was so low you couldn’t get the kettle under it, so I have a new tap and the water pressure is better, so that was good, no Bunnings here so we have to go to Bendigo to get most hardware items, but it’s working out well, I’m just impatient apparently. Good luck with your costume and jacket, have a great sewing week, Deb 🪡🧵💕
