Thank you Colleen. I've used this technique in bridesmaid dresses. I used a cording foot to control the line. I also have used with even greater success the rolled hem on the serger. I didn't use the wrapping and hot water bath though. What a great idea. I imagine smaller tubing could be used to make a more rippled effect? I will experiment with this one! You're awesome as always!! Thanks!
Hola, muchas gracias por sus vídeos, ojala pudiera entendernos seguro aprendería mucho, no entiendo el inglés y me encantaría poder entendernos gracias
i dont have a microwave and i use cardboard would a hairdryer do the job? because the heat is causing the waves so i thought this would be an other way to set the thread under heat....without melting it like the stove would do
When sewing the zig zags is it better to keep the needle on the fabric or should I let the needle go out of the fabric on one side? If that makes any sense. Thanks! Loved the tutorial btw!
Hi Coleen thanks for all your fabulous videos. I love it and have learnt quite a bit from them. I have a question for you. Can this finish be made on a non bias cut skirt hem?

Yes! This technique can be used on a non bias cut skirt hem.
Please can you say what the best thickness is for this or the thickness of the line you have used. Thank you :)
